Restaurant and breakfast were both very nice. There is more than enough choice for everyone, service is great and all at a reasonable price.
There's nothing that comes to mind to improve. We only stayed for one night, but we had everything we needed.

Don’t have any expectations add it’s a very quirky place. It won’t appeal to all but if you love down to earth people and a genuine loveliness by those working there then you are in for a treat. If you are lucky enough to have impromptu musicians get up and have a sing song in the bar then you’ve got the jackpot! I did!

The breakfast was good. Loved the animals visiting the pub. The gardens are fabulous and must look special in the summer months.
Understand the old English feel but it does look tired.

The location is ideal for people travelling between Johannesburg and Durban. The gardens are beautiful with blooming roses and well mowed lawns. We had a separate cottage which was fenced off for our dog. The dinner was very good and we enjoyed the interaction with other guests in the bar before dinner.
The bathrooms are starting to need an upgrade. There is evidence of mould starting to grow which could be easily dealt with if attended to quickly. I thought the breakfast was on the expensive side for what was served however our cottage had self catering facilities so we could have had breakfast in our unit.
