Good value for money. Great location. Free parking nearby. Breakfast was pretty good and it gave us a good start for the day.
The room where we stayed was fairly small as there were three of us with luggage. The shared bathroom was small and very, very cold. The ventilation window in the bathroom was screwed open so you couldn't close it and it was minus degrees at night.

Great location! Easy check in and check out process. It was so nice that breakfast was included, it provided the perfect start to our last morning in Iceland.
The wait for the bathroom was always long as it seemed we were sharing with about 5 others at least.

The rooms were fresh and clean and the location was near perfect.
there’s only one toilet; however I very rarely had to wait for someone else to finish.

Kettle in the room to make tea/coffee. Excellent location.
They mixed up our booking so we were given a double room instead of a twin room. The rooms were a bit rough around the edges, plug falling out of the wall and exposed brickwork. The shared bathrooms were clean, but the floor was always wet from people showering.

The guesthouse has a great location, very close to downtown. Breakfast is good, especially the fresh-baked bread. The host is friendly and helpful.

Decent choice at breakfast. Also I liked that we only booked two nights at this place, not a night more.
False advertising with the room pics and mention of a sofa in the room. Tiny room (43-1), hardly place for our suitcases, should not be sold as a double room! Also, room much too hot in winter, one valve on one of the heaters not working so couldn't regulate the heat, bed right up against radiator so son burned his leg, bed very narrow for two people. Mentioned the heat to the staff and they promised to look into the issue but never did. Only way to make it bearable was to open the window but then it was very loud when cars passed on the road outside, so sleep was very difficult to come by. Staff all made a miserable impression like they were sick of dealing with tourists. Breakfast room very crowded and it was low season (beginning Feb)! Hands down the worst place I've stayed at out of 50 nights away from home over the past 12 months in Europe.

Breakfast was fine. Excellent location.
The water was not clean and smelled really bad. We all got stomach pains from drinking the water. So we had to buy bottled water.

Located close to Hallgrimskirkja and only a block from a small supermarket to buy supplies as well as cafes and restaurants. Breakfast was freshly baked breads, cheese, ham, boiled eggs and cereals. Able to get laundry done there too.
Room wasn't quite as described, there were no kettle, microwave in room like the description indicated. Room was in a different building to main reception, not a big deal but since pathways and roads were icy and piled with snow made moving around a little trickier.

The room was nice, small but cozy. The bathroom was outside as I knew before but was big and alway free.
The breakfast is a little bit small for all guests. Also they say they start at 7:30 but its all prepared more like 7:45, if you have excursions and all is a little bit annoying.

Our room was spacious and clean, with a very convenient kitchenette. There was a microwave and electric tea kettle, plus clean dishes and cutlery. The sink ran hot and cold water very easily. The bathroom was just a short walk away and was very clean and spacious as well. Our stay was great and the staff were lovely! Definitely check out the breakfast, the fresh baked bread is delicious!
Our beds were a little bit stiff, but with the central location and the other amenities in the building, we didn’t mind so much. There were fresh towels upon request and lovely clean duvets that kept us warm.
