Six acres of in town waterfront privacy located in Sky Country, an exclusive mountain top enclave just a short distance from Dahlonega’s historic town square. From the moment you enter our gate & meander down the long private drive, you know this is indeed 'Bearadise'. (Sorry 4 the pun). Situated on, and surrounded by beautiful Yahoola Creek, this mountainside gem is breathtaking. With decks cascading to the river’s edge, your outdoor choices for places to take in the beauty of our home’s surroundings seem limitless. There are inside & outside porches, beautiful bedrooms, grills, a recreation room with a pool table and a spectacular old world bar. There are trails & a waterfront lounging area that oozes serenity, affording you a getaway setting conveniently located near everything & yet so removed that you would swear you were in the Alaskan wilderness. On those cool nights that seem so peaceful, sit by the fireplace and warm your heart

This quaint cabin was the perfect get away for our family group of 9. Pet friendly, clean and great location. Close downtown Dahlonega as well as great hiking.

This cabin is located in the side of a hill overlooking a beautiful creek. Basement has a pool table and bar that is great for hanging out with family. There’s also a TV so you can put on old movies like jaws or Ferris Bueller‘s Day off. The main floor has a great vaulted room with two bedrooms and the kitchen. They’re were plenty of utensils, sauces, spices, etc. Ken was even nice not to leave us a couple coronas in the fridge in the basement. Everything was super easy checking in and out and Ken was very responsive and helpful with information about the cabin and the local area in Dahlonega. Just 2 miles away. There’s a nice 3 mile trail around the lake to get out in the wilderness and get a little exercise very close by. It’s also just a couple more miles into town. We visit in Shenanigans and nine below and we’re very happy with them. When white town for two hours we went to the barbecue place and it was great and Very quick service

A family of six plus two in-laws enjoyed the long weekend. The listing and previous reviews were accurate, “in-town but secluded.” 10-15mins from local attractions. Great home base for us hunting for waterfalls. Kids were able to play in the creek located on the property

This chalet was perfect for our family! The layout is spacious and comfortable. The owner was extremely easy to communicate with and even left us gifts under the tree! Very nice and much appreciated!! We definitely look forward to staying here again.

I use VRBO quite frequently and I have had good experiences; this experience however, was a 10! Ken is an amazing communicator who cares about his renters. I was so impressed with his communication before, during and after the rental and I really appreciated it.
The cabin’s multiple bedrooms are spacious, the downstairs bar area was very nice, and the pool table is level. The cabin has 3 bathrooms which is important and the wi-fi was strong.
We had 10 adults and we were comfortable, the cabin was well stocked, it is pet friendly, and Ken was very personable and responsive. If we have the opportunity, I will rent it again.

The house was great - clean, comfortable, well equipped. The view is lovely. BUT - if you are looking for easy river access (we had 2 kids looking forward to it), this is not it. The river is down a very steep path - we didn’t try taking the kids. The outdoor furniture needs some love, but we lived on the deck.

Awesome Time at Bearadise
The cabin offered much more than we were expectacting. There were multiple levels to enjoy outside the cabin. We didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the lazy river, but plan on returning to the cabin in the near future.

What a great property! It was spacious and well appointed and, weirdly, both in town AND in the middle of nowhere. It's all by itself in the forest with a stream that flows right by, and also only a few minutes from town. The house has everything you might need and is welcoming. As is the owner. Ken was very welcoming by phone and communicative by phone. We really appreciated him being so available and it felt like he was very invested in us having a nice time at the property, His "care factor" was high. AMAZING property!

The cabin is well-equipped. It is at the end of a large, nice neighborhood, but it certainly feels private. The small creek is nice. The owner was readily available and helpful. We didn't need much, but he answered our questions.

We totally enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have parked the RV at the cabin, but mountain roads are too narrow. Our host was super nice and helpful. The cabin is amazing! Lots of great memories! Thank you Ken, for a place to remember with happiness!

The house is big enough for all of us but the best place to be is on the porch. It overlooks the tranquil river below.. I once heard native drums playing in the distance.
The river is the happening place for us. We spend the day in the water. The kitchen is well stocked which makes cooking easy.
Things to consider for older guests is the path to the water. It is steep and making your way through the narrow path to the river can be challenging. There are also steps inside the house to the master bedroom upstairs and steps downstairs to a bedroom, pool table, bar area, laundry, and bathroom. There are two main level bedrooms for those who might have difficulty with steps.
There are sitting areas outside. One area has the firepit with chairs and an area on the deck with 3 different grills.
The house was recently freshly painted outside..
There are some updates needed here and there inside but overall a great house, a great owner, a fantastic location...very privare.
We love visiting and playing in the water with the entire family..Infants to grandparents..

Great location but love needed
The owners were great with communicating and the cabin is in a great location. We were disappointed in the amount of dust on fans, hanging off windows and against the walls. The exterior of the property, although secluded in the wilderness, was more like a junkyard of rotted furniture. This property has so much potential but a massive cleaning interior and exterior is needed.

Our family loved this secluded home in the deep woods of Dahlonega. We affectionately called it the “hidey hole” and enjoyed every evening after wedding events and every morning over coffee. It was very comfortable and made us feel right at home. We would definitely choose this home again!
