Not much to do outside the resort. The road towards the resort is very dark. Restaurant is ok but staff already starts at 21.15 stating the last drinks are being served It also has no atmosphere.

Very good

Pool area is lovely! The gardens are beautifully maintained, and next door to the ferry to Koh tao. Loved spending the day chilling at the beach and by the pool. Very relaxing. Town is big enough you can find decent dinner and massages.

Rooms were old and not sealed so the Aircon just leaked out. Sand on the beach is pretty grainy so not super comfortable to walk on

Best stay in Koh Samui

Price quality was very good. Location is next to the ferry, which I found to be useful to go to Koh Tao. Views from the beach are amazing and the beach beds are indeed maybe a bit dated, but that was no issue for me. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I really loved my stay here and definitely come back! Recommend the spa treatments as well, especially the scrubs. Staff is amazing and very friendly.

Some comments said it to be dated, but I found it to be charming and authentic.

Uncomfortably itchy

This is a campground, not a resort. We only stayed for 1 night and booked it mainly due to its proximity to the Pralarn pier however, after leaving from this hotel room, we realized my boyfriend had several suspicious bug bites that looked like welts on him. I was also unable to sleep all night because I was itchy and felt like things were crawling on me, little did I know, there was a reason for this. After shaking out our belongings we found a bed bug on one of the pieces of our clothes. This is completely unacceptable and has put us in a terrible position being across the world. After travelling all of Central America and South East Asia, I have yet to experience something like this. DO NOT book this place, there are much nicer places in better locations for the same amount of money!!!

A perfect place to chill out.

We stayed in a beach villa room having only booked a standard double bungalow and been upgraded, great start! The pool is a great size, but the beach is amazing. Staff sweep the sand clean each morning and the sunrises were exceptional. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the resturant is very reasonably priced for a resort like this.

Very little negatives! As is common in Thailand there were some wildlife encounters, with tiny lizards in the main room and 2 large geckos who visited the bathroom each day when the sun had been on the back wall all day. Rather them than the 8-legged guests that they eat so no problem for us. A bit out of the way location wise, but this was no issue for us as it was the first stop on our 3 week trip so we just wanted to relax and unwind.

The lovely staff who knew everyone that was staying there, general good service and great option for massages! Cant get closer to a pier where you can go sailing from

Not all the rooms are as new, which could lead to a bit of mosquitoes, but we got a mosquito net for the room, so perfect!

Pleasant

Only stayed one night so location was good for the ferry to Koh Tao.

Beds were rock hard along with the pillows.

Would definitely recommend staying here and we would 100% return

Resort grounds were beautiful and well maintained, staff were friendly. Good breakfast selection. Fairly quite area , woke to the sound of Thailands beautiful birds singing 😊Beach access really good. We extended our stay another 4 nights we were that impressed. close to restaurants and laundry etc , very close to the Mae nam pier ( take a look around as there is a temple close by) being close to the pier wasn’t an issue for us. hire of a car or bike is a must where ever you stay really.

No parking for our car we rented on site as space was prioritised for bike rentals.

Great location next to the ferry to Koh Tao with lovely pool area. Food poor

This is a great location for a short stay next to the ferry port - we stayed for 1 night due to the location. Staff were lovely and very helpful, e.g. drove us and luggage to our bungalow. The grounds are nice and the pool area is great.

The food in the restaurant wasn’t great.

Nice resort with very friendly staff, but the beds were uncomfortable

Very friendly and helpful staff. The accommodation was clean and everything is close to the beach. The pool and bar are a nice addition and there’s plenty of sunbeds available. Good coffee as well!

The beds were very uncomfortable. The pillows and mattress are extremely hard and the bed wasn’t very big. Also the blankets used were stacked on top of eachother - a thin duvet inside a blanket would have been more comfortable. Rooms are fairly small.

so lovely we are heading back for one more night

the staff everywhere were really helpful and kind - especially in the restaurant to our son. the breakfast was great. location lovely and right next to the ferry terminal for Phangan.

the bed and pillows were super firm - uncomfortably so.

there are only a few of Restaurant , the beds are really Hard and the rooms could be a little Bit newer but i would recommend this Place
