Good location nearby public transport to get around.
The steps are very dangerous to Go upstairs rooms. Other than everything okay 👍

Staff were very friendly and the room was comfortable. We were expecting some noise but it was actually very quiet day and night which was a nice bonus. Shared bathroom facilities were basic but clean and had everything we needed. The local area was lovely, although a little less central than we'd expected (the trams into town where no hassle though).
Main complaint would be the very steep set of stairs to access the rooms, there's probably not much that can be done about them just something to be aware of. Also, our shared bathroom could have done with a little barrier to prevent the water from making the whole bathroom floor wet.

Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, easy to reach by public transport. They re-booked is on spot, quick and easy. Many affordable eateries around
No elevator and super steep stairs. The window didn't close, but it was nice for summer. Guess you need a special key for closing it. Quite narrow beds, but still okay :)

Location was nice, only a short 20 minute journey on the tram/metro into central and some nice shops and facilities very near. The room was pretty clean and tidy, bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Communal facilities were kept clean and tidy and it was easy to access the facilities at all times of day. Also we were able to use the luggage storage upon arrival and departure. The staff were always helpful and could assist with any questions.
The room was at the very top of the building and would be very hard work for an older person or someone with a disability to access. Also under the bed it was a bit dusty and dirty. The room was small but was to be expected for the price and was certainly worth the privacy.

Easily accessible with most public transport :)
If you have a big bag, avoid this hostel since there are no lifts - only narrow, steep stairs.

Clean sheets, good ventilation.
Wifi was there but it was not working. Far from the amsterdam central by walk but there is a train station nearby.

The person in reception was really kind and he welcomed us in a friendly way.
However, the room was too small for 8 person to stay there and it was not clean. Air conditioning was too terrible that it was hard to breath during the night and I woke up every day by fully covered with sweat. Toilets were really small, smaller than what we have in some busses. Overall, i would never stay there again.

Good location, 15minutes with public transport from the centre.
Couldn't open the window and due to thin walls you could hear the neighbouring rooms.

I left earlier and they didn't even ask why. Terrible conditions, small room, not very clean, very small bed and super bored staff

Met a great ukrainian, Andrei, in the room he was a visitor aswell. He just came in one day talking ukrainian only and we became good friends somehow. Andrei dasvidanya bratan
I'm as bored to write a review as the receptionists were to deal with us lol. Also extra towel=2€

it is a really good budget option. I really liked that there was a spare shower for the room
- we had to wait for check in and check out. it really took our time
- my friend`s bed was not very clean
- it would be nice to have microwave or smth at such a place

as soon as we arrived the man in reception was so rude when we asked if we could leave are bag as check in wasn’t for another 2 hours and told us to F off, we then didn’t want to stay there anymore but Every where else was fully booked

Location and price are great for Amsterdam. The hostel is nice and cozy. Standard hostel beds and a good shower
Would not recommend if you have problems walking up steep steps
