The apartment has double exposure and 2 terraces, one is facing the sea and serves the bedroom and the living room..The other one, livable, 25 sqm. is accessible from the kitchen, covered with awnings, against the sun,and is equipped with table, chairs and sunbed.The furniture is modern with excellent finish.From his terraces, you can enjoy a sea view and admire the marine sunsets enjoying a good dinner in the summer evenings. I assumed there would be 2 separate bedrooms...not 1 with a pullout but we were there for just the one night. Any more days and it would’ve been too small. Location is close to beach and many dining and shopping locations as listed. Owners were very helpful with checking in and transportation

Lovely apartment,beautiful holidays!
We had a wonderful holiday in this super apartment!We were visiting in all Rome.We like Ostia and spirit here is nice.We had sunny and warm days and everything here is beautiful with much flowers.Thank you for your help,Marcello.We hope to come back!

The apartment is located slightly away from the main tourist area which makes it feel more local. Very close to the beach and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. There is also a large permanent market within walking distance. Car parking was easy and we were always able to park off road in a small car park very close to the apartment. Surprisingly untouristy which is good, but maybe because it was out of season. The apartment has a large terrace which gets the sun for most of the day and there is a large table to eat meals at outside. The interior was a little tired compared to previous places we have stayed in Italy but we had no issues with anything, the WiFi worked well and the owner Marcello was very helpful and friendly. We would definately recommend staying at this apartment and when we visit Ostia, we will stay here again. Thanks Marcello!

Perfect holiday rental close to the beach
My husband and I stayed at this lovely property for 10 days. The flat is very nice and the terrace is absolutely wonderful. We spent much of our time on the terrace. Great location to the beach and very convenient for shopping and enjoying Ostia. The owner is very easy to work with and was most gracious. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Wonderful stay at this apartment
Spent 7 days at this apartment and found it to be extremely comfortable and well furnished. It is also very secure and we had no issues with leaving valuables there when we went out as it had both lockable grills and shutters. Marcello will arrange to pick you up and return you to airport. Huge balcony for sunbathing with sea views. Close to beach, supermarket and shops. Some reasonably priced restaurants close by but plenty of others about 10 mins walk away. Will definitely return

WONDERFUL VIEW,POSITION AND WEATHER!
We had a nice relaxing week here.The view to the sea were very wonderful(we had so great weather!!!)
The position of the flat was also good.Supermarket,sea and the metro station are very closeness.The people here are very nice!We like the balcony and spent enjoying days there.Thank's you so much Marcello!!

Lovely flat in Ostia!
We spent six days here.The flat is very cozy situated in a very tourist-friendly area.I highly recommend the pizzeria just opposite,on the corner as well as chinese restaurant with free wifi.
We'll come back here in the future.The stay in this lovely flat will be a great pleasure.We also loved the paintings by Marcello!

Excellent location for combining beach and city
We had a lovely fortnight in this apartment. It was great to be so close to the free beaches and the journey into central Rome was easy. Lots of useful amenities are close by, e.g. bakery, pizzeria, supermarket. Marcello was very helpful and provided efficient airport transfers. I would suggest that the property description needs to make it clearer that the second 'bedroom' is actually the lounge, so you must keep in mind that you can't use this room as a lounge in the evening if for example your kids are sleeping in there - the English in the description is unclear at that point. It was a shame that the air con in the lounge wasn't working during our stay, but otherwise we found the property excellent, especially the spacious terrace.

Fun with family and friends
We stayed for four nights in early April to be near family (10 minute walk). This was one of the most comfortable apartments we have rented through HomeAway. The rooms were spacious and well lit. We especially appreciated the roomy kitchen. It was a bit early to enjoy the large terrace off the kitchen, but I'll bet its a real boon in warmer weather. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially a couple or small family wanting a seaside escape within easy reach of Rome.
It would have been nice to have WiFi.
All in all, this was a great place to stay and a real home away from home.

Holiday in Lido di Ostia.
We rented this apartment in July and found it ideal for a visit to Rome and Lazio. The location is perfect as it is in close proximity to all major transport links, the beach, bars and restaurants. There are many shops close by and it is easy to find everything you need. Marcello is very helpful and we would not hesitate to stay in this apartment again when we return to Ostia.

Die Wohnung ist super!!
Tolle Aussicht aufs Meer von der Dachterasse und genügend Platz zum Essen/Sonnen/Spielen auf für kleinere Kinder.
Mit dem Bus erreicht man schnell die Metro Richtung Rom, aber auch zu Fuß an der Strandpromenade entlang ist das Zentrum von Ostia gut zu erreichen.
Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und vor allem die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, so daß uns die Entscheidung Essen gehen oder selbst kochen schwer fiel.
Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und diskret, selbst vom Flughafen wurden wir gegen ein geringes Entgeld abgeholt!
Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!

Roomy and bright
My family of five stayed at this apartment in April. We wanted to visit Rome but did not want to stay in the city. The location is perfect. We walked to the train station each morning and caught the train in. The cost is 1 euro. The walk is about 15 or 20 minutes. You can also take a bus and catch it near the apartment. The beach is within walking distance and takes just a few minutes to reach it. There are a few stores in the area to get everything you need. The owner was very nice and very helpful.

Wonderful place!
Five of us stayed in this apartment for one day, as our pre - Rome relaxing weekend. The place was very relaxing. Current apartment pictures do not show a large balcony where you can have all the meals, overlooking the sea (partial view). We had all our meals there and just set and watched the neighborhood. The owner was very friendly and always on time. Since it was my mother's birthday when we arrived he welcomed us with some fruit and a complimentary bottle of wine!
The walk to the beach was very short and we had a couple of stores around, so it was easy to buy necessary food, wine or water on our way back from the beach. The beach is not particularly spectacular, but the water is beautifully transparent and in the end of September the water was still warm enough for swimming.
I would definitely stay in this place again. Thank for you everything, Marcello!
