Everything, location is in a dogdy area,there were no clean room,there were spiders crawling on curtain, the shower had no pressure and had to bath with cold because the geyser was not heating up

Rooms don't have windows, just nets, so you can hear your neighbors and they can hear you all the time. Plus there's a lot of noise in the morning (roosters, construction work, crows, people walking up and down the stairs right next to the window by the bed etc). The bed is old and creaky. We did not sleep well. As for the facilities, there are no small tables next to the bed to put your things on, our shower was not holding in the wall and some other small things like that.

We spent 3 nights here. There was a problem with water every day. The water did not flow in the sink or shower for several hours. There is no air conditioning in the room, but the electricity did not work during the night, so the fan did not work. Very big heat in the room. Lizards and many mosquitoes also crawled around the room. The owner knew about the water problem and did not solve it. He was sitting at the bar. After the complaint, the workers brought us water in a bucket. The atmosphere in the accommodation is unpleasant due to the many strict bans.

The personnel is very kind and always happy to help you, the meals are very tasty, clean rooms and very good matreses on beds.

The prices for drinks at the hotelbar, higher than on the beach bar. The pictures on booking can make you belive that the villa is on the beach but you have to wall for around 10 minites to Kae Beach

Such a lovely chilled out place, perfect for what I was after which was peace and quiet to get some work and study done. The food was great (I opted for the half board). The staff and owners were great and couldn’t do enough for me (single traveller). The room was lovely, clean with a really good shower and a comfortable bed. The restaurant has a lovely view of the sunsets and the communal garden was a peaceful chill out zone.

Not a lot really, the WiFi was temperamental but not a problem. The internet supply does not facilitate a card payment system so bring dollars, euro or schillings. The nearest ATM is c15km away and like all ATMs outside of Stone Town is is often not not dispensing cash so when you come to Zanzibar bring cash (dollar, euro or Tanzanian schillings.
