Beautiful property and house. fully stocked with appliances and and cooking tools. TVs in every room and some board games to play.

The house was updated, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The outdoor areas were amazing (hot tub, fire pit, covered porches). We were there in December and the firehouse across the street had a huge Christmas decorated area you could walk through. We were close to the main strip, so it was convenient. Our stay was perfect!

We are all newlyweds and wanted to start a new yearly tradition of us going on a trip together. I had stayed at this location once before for a bachelorette party and knew that this would be a great spot to start our tradition based on the wonderful experience I had the last time.
Once again, this location proved to be top tier in cleanliness, owner response time, activities, and location. I will definitely be returning for a third time!

This house was beautiful and the property was wonderful. The hosts were very helpful and thought of everything. Fun activities to do inside and out. Very clean, lots of room. We had ten of us there. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. We would love to come back sometime.

This property and experience exceeded our expectations! The entire process was seamless and the Helmsburg cabin was perfect! We were celebrating my daughters upcoming wedding and the location allowed us close access to quaint restaurants, Nashville shopping, Hard Truth and quiet evenings by the fire out. I would highly recommend this cabin!

It was a great spot with multiple locations to hangout and enjoy the scenery. They had all the accommodations. Would definently recomened this place. One thing i would recommend fixing is something in tbe bottom of the shower because it was very slippery and one of us almost fell. Otherwise flawlaess!

The house was fantastic! Genuinely impressed with the thought to the decor and activity set up and space for guests. We had a toddlying 14 month old to watch out for when upstairs, but the pictures made that clear to us so nothing unexpected.
Surprisingly spacious living area and space! Fantastic recommendations in the guide books and hot tub was clean and a much needed luxury for our long weekend away.

It was a beautiful property and home with something for everyone. They all enjoyed the hot tub. We were able to do family meals in the kitchen. The kids played volleyball out back and loved the fire pit for s’mores. The pavilion with the swings was amazing and the grill was great on the patio with ease of access to all 3 doors. Went in to little Nashville multiple times. Some of us went zip lining at explore brown county while others went for a covered bridge excursion followed by more shopping, Hoosier buddy liquors and the local IGA became usual haunts. We ended the week with dinner at the restraint at Hard Truth for mine and my wife’s anniversary with the family. We were married in brown county. Only thing that could have made it better is if my wife would have found some morel mushrooms she’s on many boards and groups that said they were popping down there. Thank you for having us it was amazing.

A unique property with history that was perfect for a family get away. This place was within convenient distance of everything to see and do in Brown County. We had 4 adults and 4 kids (early teens) and the accommodations were great. We ended up spending more time here at the vacation rental than out sight seeing because it was such a great place we just wanted to spend our time there instead of exploring other areas. I highly recommend it.

Our group of seven women found everything just as imagined. The location in a woods near a small town is perfect. The beds are comfy and bathrooms clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The outdoor patio area is inviting.

We (3 couples) stayed 3 comfortable nights. We were gone during the days to Nashville and to Brown County State Park. When we were there, however, we very much enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, and all the location had to offer. We would love to come back!

This property was perfect! There were so many places to sit and enjoy. The covered porch in the rain, the fire pit, and the courtyard with the swings and of course the hot tub! We laughed, giggled and relaxed our way through a perfect weekend. We didn’t leave the property even once. There was absolutely no need. We are already planning to make it an annual event!!

outside, and the outside space does not disappoint. The pictures don't do the backyard justice. Parking was important because we were coming in from different cities, and there was plenty.

Family Vacation
Our family met from Kentucky and Indiana in Brown County. Our grandchildren ages 4 to 11 had a great time exploring the property, playing games indoors and outdoors, in the hot tub, and roasting hot dogs and smores over the fire pit. Nashville and Brown County State Park were also great fun to visit.

Lots of room/Close to Brown County
This is a nice place to stay if you are visiting Brown County State Park/Nashville IN. Because it was so hot outside we weren’t able to use the fire pit but it looked lovely. We stayed with extended family and we really enjoyed the downstairs area with the bumper pool table and also the outside patio area with the swings. We would recommend this house.

We had a wonderful time on vacation at this property, top of the line on everything. The owners were really promp in answering questions,. The road was kinda busy out front, but the house, the backyard, fire pit, the lights, and the hot tub was absolutely gorgeous. Would recommend this to anyone that would like to stay at top notch beautiful train themed property! Thank you Erika!!
