Nestled in Henlopen Acres, this attractive house for $1,240 per night is a great option for your next break. This is a Classic “Pines Cottage” in ocean block of Rehoboth Beach near the Boardwalk. The Pines Cottage and next door sister, The Oak Cottage, may be rented together. The Pines Cottage is only 7 doors to the life-guarded beach and can accommodate 10 guests in 5 bedrooms. This 1925 historic cottage and back guest cottage have been completely remodeled and redecorated to provide modern comfort in a charming setting. The darling Main Cottage has 4 Bedrooms and 3 Full Bathrooms, and the Guest Cottage has 1 large Bedroom, a Sitting Room and 1 Full Bathroom. Bedroom 1 has one Queen bed with Tommy Bahama linens and Bedroom 2 has two Twin beds with Pottery Barn linens. These 2 bedrooms share a private full bathroom with a tiled shower. Bedroom 3 is a Master Bedroom with one Queen bed, Ralph Lauren linens, a TV and a private full bathroom with a tiled shower and vanity. Bedroom 4, located on the 2nd Floor, is a Master Bedroom with one Queen bed with Beach Bungalow linens and a private full bathroom with a shower and vanity. The 2nd Floor Loft Sitting Room has a rattan sofa and three chairs upholstered with Tommy Bahama fabric and a coffee table. Enjoy watching TV or reading in this delightful space. The entire 2nd Floor has new hardwood flooring. Bedroom 5 is in the separate, delightful Guest Cottage and has two Queen beds with Horchow linens and a private full bathroom with a tub shower and console sink. The Guest Cottage coffee bar has a hammered copper sink, Keurig coffee maker and dining table that seats 4. Guests will enjoy having a TV in the Bedroom and a second TV in the lovely, garden view Sitting Room. The Main Cottage Living Room and Dining Room are open concept with a vaulted ceiling, sky lights, decorative fireplace, and designer fabrics. The Kitchen has been completely remodeled and is fully equipped with new Cafe appliances, granite countertops, lighting, hardwood floors, beautiful Mikasa "Madison" dishes, glasses, barware, Lenox flatware, cookware, KitchenAid mixer, Keurig and traditional coffee makers and more. The Screened Porch is one of the larger porches in Rehoboth Beach and is beautifully furnished for relaxation with plenty of comfortable wicker and rattan seating, decorator fabric cushions, ceiling fans and a large TV. The Porch Dining Table seats 8 and there is an additional table that seats 4 for dining, playing games and putting puzzles together. Guests will enjoy having a full size, stacked washer and dryer. The large furnished Patio has a white wood picnic dining table, 2 benches, 6 Adirondack chairs, and a clothesline. Grill steaks on the Charcoal Grill in a private garden setting that is illuminated at night by landscape lighting. The large outdoor shower has hot and cold water. The Pines Cottage and the Guest Cottage have central heating, air conditioning and real hardwood flooring. Rentals are available for as few as 3 nights in the Spring and Fall and by the week in the Summer, Friday to Friday, with Check-in at 3:30 pm and Check-out at 10:30 am. There is off street parking for 3 cars and 2 seasonal parking permits are provided for on street parking for rentals between mid-May and mid-September. Kitchen Tea Towels, Bedspreads, Pillows, Pillow Protectors, Mattress Pads and Mattress Protectors are provided. Guests bring their own Sheets, Bath Towels and Beach Towels or may rent linens locally. Beach Chairs and Umbrellas can be rented on the beach between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Supplies provided ~ Starter rolls of Paper Towels, 1 roll of Toilet Paper in each Bathroom, 1 set of Trash/Recycling Bags, Laundry Detergent, Glass Top Range Cleaner, Dish Washing Liquid, Dishwasher Detergent, Brillo, 1 Sponge, Hand Soap in each Bathroom, Charcoal, Lighter Fluid, Grill Utensils, Broom, Dustpan, Mop, and Bucket. Our three-generation family enjoyed a wonderful week in Debra's lovely updated Rehoboth cottage! The nine of us used all five charmingly appointed bedrooms and enjoyed the common areas in the house and on the spacious porch. The neighborhood was wonderful, with an easy walk to the beach. All three generations had a thoroughly enjoyable week, and Debra was a lovely hostess!

We (family of 4) stayed in the house and used the cottage for my "senior-age" parents. Kitchen well-equipped. House immaculately cleaned, beautifully decorated; Jim and Debra so responsive to any needs and very kind. Love (!!!) the location - quiet and beautiful and close to beach and Henlopen State Park for biking and walking, quick walk to town or favorite shops and restaurants.

The house was wonderful. It was immaculate; everything in great condition. The check-in was very easy, and the house was even ready a bit early. The owner was very responsive, and great to deal with. The location was perfect for us - very close to the beach, and a short walk to the boardwalk as well.

The house is wonderful and so well maintained. The best feature is the lovely side porch that is so comfortable you could spend your entire day there. Great location, well appointed, lovely bedrooms and extremely clean. Couldn’t ask for a nicer cottage!!

We were blown away with our rental. Such a perfectly sized beach house, with a cottage for my parents. Easy walk to the beach. And it felt so private. Not to mention clean. Would (and will) book again.

We stayed in the cottage for a long wknd and it was absolutely wonderful! The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and the screened in porch was just the best! We spent most of our time out there. The back patio area was also lovely. It’s close to the beach and the beach was much less crowded in the Pines area compared to the boardwalk area. We loved the quietness, but it was still close enough to walk to the boardwalk. My sister, BIL and 1yr old niece stayed in the smaller cottage outback and loved it. It was great that they had a separate space. Our family can’t wait to come back!

The Pines Cottage was just what the pictures show. The walk to the beach is very easy, even with a toddler! The kitchen is beautifully renovated, as is the guest house. I would not say this is a super friendly home for small/young children. There are lots of glass tables/decorations and the stairs to upstairs are very open on the sides which was a little nerve wracking for us. There is generally just a lot of seating/furniture in the house which seemed a little odd considering the strict rule that there are to be no gatherings or parties of any kind in the house.
Debra was very communicative and offered us an early check in on our arrival day. We weren’t able to meet her directly, but we didn’t have any issues using the property.
Some things that weren’t so great for our group - The guest house must have been recently painted and the smell was far too strong for anyone to sleep out there. It is a really nice space, but also didn’t have heat on the rainy weekend we were there. It would have been great to have a heads up to know this space wasn’t really available. The house rules that were emailed to us and then another set that was provided at the house was a little jarring. I am assuming the rules were meant for younger groups who may be planning to party more instead of our family friendly group, but it was a little hard to relax knowing there was the threat of a $50 fine for scratching the floor, moving the furniture, or spilling a drink. There was also a LOT of emphasis on leaving the property exactly as it was when we arrived, including remaking all the beds, doing dishes and putting them away in exactly the same spot, doing laundry, etc. Again, this made it a little difficult to really relax. After all, I’m on vacation so that I don’t have to do these chores!
Overall, great space and fantastic location but I recommend reaching out for a comprehensive copy of the house rules before booking!

Lovely Cottages Near the Ocean
Super clean, beautifully appointed set of cottages on the north side of Rehoboth within easy walking distance to the boardwalk, beach, restaurants and shops. Thanks Debra, for creating such a lovely relaxing environment. My son and I really enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Ladies Weekend in April
A group of us stayed here to celebrate a birthday. 6 adults and one crawling baby. Debra was a wonderful host and offered us tours of her neighboring property and guest house that was under going renovations. Debra was excellent with her communication, and easy to get a hold of. I loved the design details in the well-appointed kitchen. We did a yoga class out in the spacious back patio, enjoyed daily walks to the beach ( about a 3-5minute walk to the sand), cooked many meals, dined on the enclosed side porch, and walked and biked into town. Highlights of this unique cottage are definitely location, overall design and aesthetic, and a well-appointed rental. TIP: Make sure you bring your own linens and towels- we did not realize they were not included in the rental. Debra put us in touch with a local linen rental company who thankfully came to our rescue! But had it been the high season- I don't think we would have had as much luck. We would love to rent these properties again with a larger group and rent the two homes side by side. Would be a perfect setup for multi-generations beach vacation. Go and stay at The Pines Cottage, you will LOVE it!

Sea Witch Weekend for us
We are a group of friends that try to get together once a year at Rehoboth Beach. Unfortunately we hadn’t been able to do it for a few years. Having rented a different cottage from the same owner, we contacted VRBO for availability. This cottage was amazing! Clean, recently redecorated and has a great porch! She even had someone come put the porch clear covers on as it was getting cold out and a night of rain was forecast. Would highly recommend this cottage! We had a great time!
