Your incredible mountainside lake view cabin! Make your way up to this hilltop paradise boasting panoramic views. Enter the home and head up the spiral staircase into the great room, a charming haven boasting high ceilings, a stonewalled fireplace, and warm wood finishes. Generous windows allow natural sunlight to permeate the living space while providing unbelievable views of Lake Tahoe. Cook up a storm in one of the two exquisite kitchens on offer. Lay back in the swinging chair with a glass of Malbec and take in the incredible view from your expansive patio. Hike the trails located in the national park right outside your home, and shred some snow at Diamond Peak Ski Resort, located only 5-minutes away. As the day comes to an end, climb the stairs up to the Primary Bedroom for a good night's rest, located on the third level, with a private patio overlooking the lake. Nearby Activities: Northstar Diamond Peak Ski Resort, High Altitude Fitness, Sand Harbor beaches, Action Water Sports Boat Rentals, Rent Bikes at Tunnel Creek Station. Home Truths: - Neighbors home will be under construction for the summer months June- august 2023 may be noisy at times. - During the winter months, outdoor furniture is unavailable. - Please note that this home does not have AC. - We do not offer IVGID private beach passes. - The hot tub may not always get up to the desired temperature, especially in the winter months. - Please be aware that there are many stairs leading up to this home and the spiral staircase in the home may not be suitable for children. - Due to extreme wildfire risk, any type of outdoor wood burning fireplaces, fire pits, or charcoal grills are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in fines starting at $5,000 per Lake Tahoe short term rental regulations. - We allow service animals at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet. - This home has a maximum occupancy of 8. - Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request. Parking Details: 2 spaces available. No street parking. This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib available. A high chair can be provided upon request with at least 24hrs advanced notice. Just ask and we are happy to accommodate you and your little ones! --- The room configuration is as follows: Primary Bedroom / King bed with En-suite Bedroom 2 / Queen bed Bedroom 3 / Queen bed Bedroom 4 / Queen bed Living area / Twin Bed w/ trundle Rec room / Queen Sleeper --- Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit. This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees. There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions. As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards. IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit. We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

Hiking trail accessible at house was great! Spending time on the deck was phenomenal! We did have trouble one night with moths upstairs. Overall, great experience.

Beautiful property and a view that cannot be beat. However, while the description mentioned lots of steps and a circular staircase, it was not made clear that you cannot even get to the main living level or the 3rd story master bedroom without using the circular steps. A more clear description in the posting would be of assistance as we would not have selected this property had we known the precise details of needing to use circular staircases for the living area and the master. The description online sounded perhaps as if the circular stairs were optional and in addition to standard stairs. This is not accurate.

Absolutely stunning view from the balconies and living room that was great to relax to. House is big and as described with plenty of towels, pillows, seating. Hot tub worked well and it was nice to have smart streaming devices on the TV's to sign into. Thankful for the backup coffee makers and small bonus kitchen downstairs for our big group. Note that it's easy to close off the bottom floor for child/adult naps away from the action. As some others have mentioned, yes, there's some wear and tear on the house but it's not a big deal. Would absolutely be back. Thanks!

The good: house is in an excellent location with a world class view and great outdoor space. The bad: there was a full blown moth infestation. We arrived to 50+ dead moths throughout the living room. We had to clean up by hand since there was no broom or mop in the house. At night (even with windows close) the house would FILL with moths….100’s of them. Sleep was impossible as moths would bounce off your head and even hit the ceiling fans and die. You woke to dead moths everywhere. We stayed 2 days and left! Downstairs plumbing also did NOT work. The shower and bathroom were useless. The house is also very tired and outdated. Couches, furniture and rugs need to be replaced. The amenities simply don’t match the price. It has amazing potential given the view and outdoor space but I would not rent unless you get proof of professional extermination for the bugs. Property management was super helpful and credited back our stay which was appreciated. They did a really nice job.
