Lovely stay, would recommend. Communication needs improvement

They were very welcoming and the staff was super friendly. Their rooms are cute and they decorated nicely and have a view of the ocean. the food was good and they had nice cocktails. It’s right by the beach with restaurants around but far from most activities you’d want to do in Zanzibar. however, they offer free Snorkelling to guests every day.

The communication is really bad. When you’re trying to book or inquire about something, they take took too long to respond or didn’t respond at all until you ask again. I ended up speaking to different people via email, WhatsApp and Instagram. In the end they helped me but they need to do better with communication.

Boho Boho Ocean Ocean !!!

BoHo is geweldig! Een klein hotel, met mooie kamers en een aparte slaapkamer. Het is belangrijk voor mij. De AC was een beetje zwak, maar er is overal een probleem met elektriciteit. Er zijn ook ventilatoren in de kamers, dus voor mij is het geweldig! Prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan vanuit de ramen. Heerlijk. Ik woonde op de 1e verdieping. Er zijn ook kamers op de 2e en 3e verdieping, deze hebben waarschijnlijk een nog mooier uitzicht. Er is ook een kamer op de begane grond, deze heeft een slechter uitzicht, maar een gezin met kinderen heeft een geweldig uitzicht - de kinderen rennen rechtstreeks vanuit de kamer naar het zwembad. De moeder van deze kinderen ziet ze de hele tijd. Het is een familiehotel. Mooi terras, vriendelijk personeel. Veel evenementen en bijeenkomsten. Zeer mooi hotel. Ik raad aan !

Nice Stay at Pilli Pilli

The room was very spacious, nice balcony with sun-loungers good amenities such as coffee and tea/kettle and a fridge. All the staff were very friendly and were always happy to help with any query I had. Offers for a free snorkelling trip and local village tour complimentary with your stay was a very good touch something I was never offered in any hotels elsewhere in Zanzibar.

So I did have some problems with the A/C firstly it did not work at all, I went to reception and they quickly resolved this issue maintenance was in the room within 5 minutes. Now once the A/C was working it was noisy and had a rattle, so I went back to reception who again came and got the rattle to stop. However even after that it was still noisy and due to the fact the room was so big I never found the room as cool as other places I had visited. Breakfast was also not the best it was all waiter service which is nice yet every-time I ordered a coffee it was cold, there was nice selection of hot made to order options the first day I ordered poached eggs and avocado toast which was inedible the second day pancakes which were a little burnt and very dry.

Pili Pili is the best !

Im Pili Pili herrscht eine tolle Atmosphäre, die Hotels liegen nahe beieinander und sind doch alle völlig unterschiedlich. Ich habe schon einmal in einem anderen Pili Pili Hotel geschlafen, aber ich bin zurück ins Boho gegangen, weil es mir hier am besten gefällt. Die Zimmer sind schön, groß, schöne Aussicht. Das Hotel ist klein und ruhig. Toller Service. Ausgezeichneter Chefkoch. Der Service ist nicht schnell, aber wir sind hier im Urlaub. Wir sind nicht in Eile. Schöne Aussicht. Der Pool ist für uns großartig. In der Nähe der Bar. Ich empfehle Pili Pili !

Big kiss for all !

Das Frühstück war sensationell, der Service, der Küchenchef, die Kellner sind hervorragend. Langsam, aber das ist Afrika und wir sind auch langsam mit ihnen. So haben wir einen guten Urlaub! Mittagessen, Abendessen - sehr gut, ich empfehle die Garnelen und frischen Thunfisch. Der Koch ist sensationell. Lächelnd, tolle Küche. Der Koch ist sensationell! Zimmer schön, groß, schöner Blick auf den Ozean aus dem Zimmer. Der Pool ist kleiner, aber ausreichend. Das Hotel ist nicht groß, so dass die Terrasse und der Pool sind ok. Ich empfehle Pili Pili, wir bleiben hier sicher für ein paar Tage mehr.

Relax in Jambiani

Beachfront location, nice breakfast, nice to have access to other Pilipili hotels. Our room had tons of space.

There were curtainless windows by the bed that didn't show up in pics on Booking. They let in a lot of light, which isn't conducive for sleep. Michael did get the neighboring property to turn off the light that was outside our window, so that helped, but sleeping in was not really an option. Also, the ac was weak at best partly because it's right next to a screen door that has no glass, rendering it useless. The fans and breezes made it reasonably comfortable, though.

Boho Super Hotel !

Boho-Super-Hotel. Meine Freundin liebt den Boho-Stil, deshalb haben wir dieses Hotel gewählt. Boho auf Sansibar. Zimmer schön, groß, geräumig. Große Fenster mit Blick auf den Ozean. Fantastische Aussicht. Das Hotel ist klein, vielleicht 7 Zimmer, so ist es sehr schön und intim. Pili Pili hat hier 5 Hotels, so dass wir in der Lage waren, die Restaurants und Veranstaltungen der anderen Pili Pili Hotels zu genießen, aber in unserem Pili Pili Boho, war es friedlich und ruhig. Eine fantastische Lösung. Der Service ist ein wenig langsam, aber wir sind hier im Urlaub und haben auch viel Zeit zur Verfügung. Ich würde dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen, denn für uns und andere Gäste (wir haben einige Leute getroffen) ist das Hotel 10/10. Wir empfehlen diesen Ort von ganzem Herzen.

Vacances boho !

Hôtel Boho, il a un tel décor, une telle atmosphère, une telle cuisine, un tel service. Tout est super Boho ! Le personnel répond très rapidement à nos informations et à nos besoins. Petit hôtel boutique, très personnalisé. Décor super, important pour nous - l'air conditionné fonctionne bien. Il y a eu un problème une fois - mais réparé en 20 minutes. Super piscine, super vue sur l'océan. A recommander vivement !

L’emplacement

L’hôtel dans lequel nous avons séjourné était très loin de nos attentes et a clairement gâché nos 4 premiers jours à Zanzibar. - Chambre au rez-de-chaussée, balcon qui donne dans le restaurant très bruyant, odeur nauséabonde, très fortes chaleurs, draps troués et musique assourdissante, chambre non sécurisé qui ferme à clef, mais pouvait s’ouvrir de l’extérieur, car un espace entre les deux portes - Wifi très bancal qui s’arrête environ toutes les 10 min - Au matin, pour le petit déjeuner il y a quatre choix proposés. Le problème n’étant pas la carte. Mais bien la cuisine qui est ouverte sur le restaurant et insalubre. Friteuse non nettoyé, œufs dans des poêles datant de 20 ans, hygiène globale qui laisse à désirer dans tout l’établissement - Pas de serviette de bain à disposition dans les chambres, nous avons dû nous sécher avec la serviette de plage - Pas de bouteilles d’eau qui se ferment, alors que nous sommes dans un pays sans eau potable - Entretien et propreté de la piscine qui laisse à désirer. Les côtés sont verts, le fond est effrité - Suite à ces événements, nous avons cherché un autre hôtel sur l’île , cependant, après avoir déjà payé la totalité des nuits dans cet hôtel, nous avons décidé de demander un changement de chambre - Dans cette nouvelle chambre, qui avait soi-disant de meilleures conditions, les murs étaient moisi et effrités. Pas d’isolation. Nous entendons tout le bruit depuis l’intérieur de la chambre. Au matin, pas d’eau. Très sympathique une fois que nous sommes passés aux toilettes de ne pas pouvoir tirer la chasse d’eau. Pas de douche, pas de lavabo et ce pendant plusieurs heures. - Au petit déjeuner, les produits frais sont laisser à l’air libre sous 30° - Au retour dans la chambre, l’eau était revenue, mais nous n’avions plus d’électricité - Suite à une averse, l’eau est passé sous la porte ainsi que par la fenêtre de la salle de bain qui n’avait pas de vitre. Il y a eu de l’eau dans toute la chambre.

Bon séjour gâché par l'emplacement de la chambre

L'hôtel donnait directement sur la plage, ce qui était vraiment sympathique même en période de marée haute. La chambre était suffisamment grande et dotée d'un petit frigo. La pression de l'eau était très bien et l'eau était toujours bien chaude. J'ai apprécié les efforts faits par l'équipe qui était très sympathique. Le menu du petit-déjeuner est petit mais les plats étaient copieux et les meilleurs que j'aie mangé à Zanzibar.

Malheureusement, j'étais dans une chambre située juste derrière le restaurant et la piscine. L'emplacement était donc très bruyant la majeure partie du temps. Je ne recommande absolument pas la chambre 13. Le wifi était un peu aléatoire dans la chambre une fois la porte fermée mais fonctionnait bien dans le salon. La piscine était vraiment très petite donc j'ai préféré aller dans un autre hôtel pour profiter d'une piscine plus fonctionnelle.

I can't do it justice in one short sentence.

I was upgraded and the room was lovely. The views, the outdoor bath, everything was lovely.

The fact that there were no curtains, just shutters. So daylight comes in once the sunrises.

Our hotel room was always flooded with water the toilet smelt so bad you would think you’d get used to it or the smell would reduce but it progressively got worse.

Best Birthday ever

The yummiest breakfast I've ever had since I came here, beautiful serenity with a sea view🌊 , rooms exceptionally beautiful and very spacious, loved the restaurant sitting area overlooking the beach while having breakfast. The staff made my birthday extra extra special. I loved every minute of our stay.
