Wonderful location, we enjoyed our short stay.

Location was great albeit a bit loud from the courtyard below (not a fault of the apartment itself), loved the apartment and the owner was exceptional communication wise. Very accommodating. Lovely and modern, very beachy.

Bathroom was mouldy and had spider and web throughout. Kitchen seemed as though it had been uncleaned. Leftover food items in the fridge and cupboards. Could use another air con for bedrooms on hot days.

Impeccable Stay at Shoal Bay

The attentiveness of the owners was incredible, the communication was clear and made our stay that much more enjoyable. The location of our apartment was in the center of town and so close to the beach and country club.

The location of the beds was above the bins, and we could hear the bins going out often, especially early in the morning. Also in one of the rooms, there was a loud noise constantly, assuming from the airconditioning being on or using the water.

Great location. Beach across the road and balcony view was superb. Could walk to shops drink and eat

Instructions for getting and returning keys was easy to follow. Secure and undercover carpark.

No air conditioning. At $500 per night, I would have thought air conditioning would be standard. Was locked out of apartment for over an hour Sat night because of broken lock. No one answered contact phone no. Lucky we rang Realtor. Locksmith was called. Instructions to enter apartment sent to work email at 10am on day of arrival. Was already on enroute. Had to ring to find out how to get in. Instructions should have been sent to phone.

We were happy but should advertise that it is up 2 flights of stairs in case of prams/ elderly.

Accomodation and assistance by Gabriella was excellent

Location was great. As we were there for a wedding with the venue being right next to the apartment building we were able to walk to the wedding which was excellent. Thank you

As my husband and I have certain medical conditions we found the stair access very difficult. I should have asked about level our apartment was on and access to it when I booked.

Excellent location - right on the beach. Views of the beach from the balcony, bedrooms, kitchen and living area! Very comfortable unit with two bedrooms. Very well resourced kitchen. Close to the shops.

Couldn’t drive landcruiser into car park due to carpark driveway height.

Perfect for a weekender

Clean. Close to everything. Rain shower was amazing. Beautiful view from the balcony. Really easy instructions and access to the house. Free minibar was a nice touch.

Back street where the main bedroom is is a bit noisy. It’s near an iron gate to the apartment block that closes loudly and where the rubbish trucks come early in the morning but wasn’t too bad. Booking.com staff need improvement. Send you offers and when their system doesn’t work it’s your fault.

Memorable first time at the Bay and with host looking fwd to doing it again

The complimentary products on arrival , I do the same at my holiday rental property and at minimal cost it helps with settling in and leaves a lasting impression that the host cares about his customers, which I feel is invaluable.
