DESTIN’ation is the perfect place for families coming to enjoy the warm weather and family time. The neighborhood is a gated community which gives guests an extra feeling of security. DESTIN’ation provides guests with over 300 feet of private beach to relax and soak up the sun. DESTIN’ation is a wonderful four bedroom home along Scenic Highway 98 just steps from the white sandy private beach (easy 2-minute flat walk)! This beautifully decorated home is spacious enough for a large family and quaint enough for a smaller family. This home features two living rooms, flat screen TV’s in each room and large private balconies with plenty of outdoor seating! The clubhouse features a workout center for those wanting to continue their workout program. The 3000 sq. ft. community pool is heated during the winter months and a hot tub is available for guest enjoyment.! We had a tremendous trip! Wonderful accommodations for all, and the home was very well equipped for our stay. The location was amazing, the beds were super comfortable, the beach was less than two minutes to walk to, plenty of beach towels and chairs, fun games to play at the house, everything so clean, and the hosts were always attentive and so quick to reply when we had an inquiry about anything. We were so pleased, and would absolutely stay again!! Thank you to Thor and Deb, amazing!!

This was the best! The kitchen was well stock as was the supply closet for outdoors. We wanted for nothing. There was never a point that anyone said, “I wish we had….”

This property was a perfect fit for our family of 9. Beautifully decorated and fully equipped with lots of extras. Great location close to the pool and a short walk to the beach. Hope to come again!

4 adults and 5 kids 10 and under stayed for the week. More than enough room for everyone. Beach access was quick and convenient. Kids loved the private pool area as well. We will definitely use this house again in the future.

This place was perfectly stocked with what we needed and then some. We enjoyed the beach, the pool and the house. Close to shopping and restaurants and has everything you need to make a meal. A wonderful place to stay, very nice. it was am easy walk to the beach with all the chairs and beach toys that were provided. the house was really niice and had everthing we needed, was great for the kids and grandkids, everone had a blast. Love...Love...the location, we will be back again.

The house was located just across the street from the ocean. Super easy walk when carrying beach chairs and toys. The pool and fitness center were a few steps away, and the neighborhood was quiet and secluded from the busy beach front road. The property was clean and updated, I would definitely recommend this house for a large group.

The location and home was as they indicated and might be even better. Everything you can think of for the kids to play at the pool or beach was available and if not shops were supper close by.The kitchen was wonderfull with the the equipment you may need for family dinners.

This place was perfect for the 3 small families we had. This is the second time we have stayed at Cottage Retreat, and this house is one that we will come back to. It is super close to the pool and beach, and the house has everything you need. I really loved that the kitchen is on the first floor. We are already considering this house again for next year!

This Resort home was just what we were looking for. Comfortable and Conveniently Close to the Pool and Beach. This gated community was nice and offered two parking spots directly in front of our beach house. Walking in, we knew this was going to be a great stay for us. The entire third floor was designated to our teenagers and other children with their own bathroom to share.The second floor has 2 master rooms with their own bathrooms. Leaving the first floor with the living room, kitchen, laundry room, and half bath. On the first night of our stay, both families mentioned how comfortable the beds were. This home was perfect for our two families. The owner is very quick to respond if you need anything and is very polite and welcoming as well.

My husband and I have stayed in many beach houses and condos over the years. This was, by far, the best place we have ever stayed. We were a little sad that we weren’t going to see the beach from the house, but it was definitely a trade off with everything this place had to offer! They supplied EVERYTHING that you would need to take to the beach or the pool, including the towels! The beach was literally a few min walk to the beach. The pool was right across from the house. We had 11(10 adults and 1 kid) people here. Half from Ohio and half from Texas. The beach was never crowded, plenty of space. The thing we loved the most was that we didn’t have to get up at 5 am to put a tent up to save our spot! The owners were wonderful and easy to talk to. We definitely want to go back there again! Thank you so much!

We stayed here with our children and grandchildren ages 2 and 7 months. It was spacious enough to spread out and definitely one of the best stocked rentals I have stayed at. It was a quiet neighborhood and just a short walk to the beautiful beach. We made some wonderful memories. Thank you so much!

We have been to Destin several times, this house is by far the nicest place we have stayed at. Everything about this house was perfect. It is a two minute walk to the beach so very easy to get back and forth. The house is stocked with all the essentials including the best beach chairs. We enjoyed every second of our stay. Big thanks to the owners for providing such a nice place.

This house was the perfect set up for our two families that vacationed together. It is right across from the pool and a super short walk to the beach. Of all the rentals we have stayed at, this was by far the cleanest. Every surface and space was clean, no clutter, they provided ther perfect amount of towels. This is a fantastic property with amazing hosts!! House is beautiful and ideally located within minutes of everything. Hosts outfitted house with everything we could need including ”extras” for our daily visits to the beach. Hosts are exceptional with communication and providing details. House is very clean and is well appointed. We definitely want to book again!!

We had a great time at beach retreat. Wish the weather had been warmer.The house was plenty big for my family of 5,very close to beach,beautifully decorated,& very comfy seating in living room. We watched tons of movies. Hot tub was great! Too cold to swim in pool since not heated for winter. Host responsive whenever we needed her which wasn't that much since everything was taken care of. Love that it was pet friendly. In great,safe location.

DESTINation was a beautiful haven for our family during our fall break. Our week was so comfortable in the home with plenty of space to accommodate all ages. The beaches were spectacular- cool clear water and soft sand- and we easily spotted several sea creatures. The owners thought of every detail to provide a memorable vacation, that we hope to return again!

We loved our stay in this beautiful condo! This condo was well supplied with all the comforts of home. The easy 2 minute stroll to the beautiful sugar-sand beach was convenient for kids and grandparents alike. Owners were very responsive to any questions or concerns we had.

We had a wonderful time the unit we rented was exactly as presented on VBRO. It was clean, the pool was great and a very short walk to the beach. The only negative was the fact that we could not use our tents we brought. They have chairs and umbrellas for rent at a VERY HIGH cost almost $50 per day for 2 chairs and 1 umbrellas and there were 6 adults and 2 children in our party. We would defiantly make this a annual stay if chairs and umbrellas were part of the rental or able to use tents, but this will be our last stay at this location. We have learned to make sure tents are allowed on the beach before we book in the future.

The property was nice, but one of the bathrooms were not cleaned upon arrival (no big deal). Once we all settled in, our vacation rental was plentiful and relaxing. The location was great. The correspondence prior to our stay was thorough and informative. The owners were great, especially early on when we needed to adjust dates. We hope to be back soon. I'd highly recommend!!!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. The house was clean and well stocked, had tons of room, a view of the ocean from the 3rd floor, and a super easy walk to the beach and pool. I was worried about crossing the main road to get to the beach, but it was super easy and safe. We had ages ranging from 3yrs old to 63yrs old and everyone loved it. The owners had wonderful communication! Destin was wonderful and the beach was amazing. :)

Great week with the family!
This house is perfect! It’s spacious and the owners have thought of everything! The layout is great! Lots of seating in the 1st floor den and dining area, and the 3rd floor den! 3 large bedrooms, and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed; a double under a single. Great front porch and 2 large balconies! Well equipped kitchen. Large pool is steps away from the front door and the beach is a very easy, very close walk. Beach towels included and chairs and umbrellas and toys! Really great house in a nice community. Book it!!! 😃

The 3 patios just added to the house space and the 2nd living room was also a helpful for separation. Sometimes having several families under one roof feels cramped but NOT in this house :)
We were very thankful for the "fun closet" which was full of many nice quality beach chairs, pool rafts and noodles, and a bin of all the beach toys you need. ADDED bonus were the many many game/puzzle options for all ages (which came in handy for the 5+ days of rain we experienced).
The kitchen was well stocked with all the cups/plates/pots/pans you will need (and plastic options for the kids/patio use). The 12 beach towels were good quality, no need to bring your own :) Hind sight we would have brought a couple of throw blankets to snuggle up with on the couch, but that's just our preference. We brought a couple of liquid hand soap pumps (also just our preference to the "hotel soaps") but honestly this home had it all (location, space, and comfort).
