ROARK HOUSE is a prohibition era, 3-bedroom (sleeps 8) home in Historic Downtown Branson Missouri. This home is extremely adorable, very fun and friendly. Immediately, you will feel as though you have come home to an old friend. It is uniquely charming and full of character both inside and out! This 1400 sf home is nestled on the bluffs overlooking a private lake and Roark Creek. You will find yourself "smack dab in the middle of it all", but feel as though you are completely removed. Roark House features a large deck perfect for enjoying the sounds of nature and the beautiful Fall colors. A wonderful place to relax and unwind after a fun filled day in Branson. Roark House has tons of character and is perfectly located! This property is the ideal base to explore Branson and all it has to offer. The Historic District is full of restaurants, cafés and shopping. Enjoy both day time recreation and a night out on the town. Just a short walk to the Branson Landing and lake Taneycomo, a short walk to historic downtown Branson shops, 5 minutes away from city parks/trails; Sunset Park, Alexander Park, North Beach Park, Stockstill Park & Trail and Roark Trail, and 2 minutes from the Hilton Convention Center. Travel around the city is easy from here. Enjoy a FREE TROLLY pickup just steps from your front door to 6 different drop off/pick up locations in downtown. From here you can connect quickly and easily to both highway 76 and highway 65, as well as the red, blue, and yellow routes strategically located throughout Branson. The Branson Regional Airport is only a 17 minute drive away. Table Rock Lake, Bull Shoals Lake and Silver Dollar City are also only a short drive away. NEW asphalt driveway! (No more gravel) Enjoy free high-speed internet, WIFI and cable television. TVs in all three bedrooms and a large flat screen in the living quarters. We offer a washer/dryer, ironing board and 2 hair dryers for your convenience. At Roark House, you will find the ambiance very welcoming. Immediately you will feel right at home and comfortable— making for a tremendous stay in Branson! Upon entering, you are greeted by an open and very spacious living quarters, a family size dining table that seats 8, a large flat screen TV, comfortable sofa, a private seating area for that morning cup of coffee, a buffet for family dinners, and a beautiful old fireplace. It"s perfect for family togetherness… you will instantly be in love with your stay! Just off to the right, you have a full bathroom and two bedrooms. Each bedroom offers something different but equally special. In bedroom #2, you will instantly feel like you're at your favorite lake house. This bedroom is themed with rustic & fun hunting and fishing decor. Bedroom #3 has a "beachy" feel with warm coastal colors... very calm and relaxing. And on the left side of the large living quarters, you will find the master bedroom, a spacious bathroom and a fully furnished kitchen. As you enter the master, you will enjoy the authenticity and feel like you’re stepping back in time. This 3 bedroom home is a sleep 8 (3 queen beds and if needed, 2 high quality and very comfortable fold out cots). Some of the extras in the main bathroom include a claw foot tub, walk in shower, enclosed toilet room, built in ironing board, hair dryer and a washer/dryer. The kitchen is cozy and fully furnished and equipped for your convenience. We are managing Roark House personally and can give you tips and advice on whatever you may need help with, don't hesitate to ask when you contact us for reservations, it is really our pleasure if we can be of help. This is a non-smoking home. Pets are strictly forbidden. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: - Check-In: From 4:00PM - Check-Out: At 10:00AM Entire home is yours for your stay! Private setting that feels close to it all but far away at the same time. Branson's free Trolly "Sparky" passes right in front of the house! We want you to make yourselves at home but please leave it as you saw it. Please put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher upon checkout. Leave the beds unmade. Any dirty towels can be placed on the floor. We ask that you not move the furniture around but if it’s a must for accessibility, please return everything to its original place. The only problem we had was two women trying to sleep on the cots. Way to difficult for women That she. Also when stating sleeps eight most older women want beds of their own. Otherwise Everything was great. Thank you for letting us stay in your place. Great location for us.

We celebrated my daughter's 40th Birthday for a weekend at the Roark Cottage. Location was great for walking down to The Landing. You could also catch the trolley from out front of the house. Layout of the house was great and the decor was charming. Kitchen was well equipped. Also enjoyed sitting on the deck.

This beautiful open concept home was very clean and spacious for four people. Very convenient location to downtown area. But also to other attractions. Our favorite show was Queen Esther! Thank you Olivia for letting us use your beautiful home.

Olivia Hill is the best in communicating. We credit her in being best host. We have stayed at Roark House 3X's. The location is excellent. We three couples like to come to Branson for productions at Sound Theatre; we like to play cards together; shop together, eat out. We highly recommend Roark House.

This house is walking distance to great shopping and very central to everything in Branson! The house was very clean and super cute! The owners were very quick in responding to any questions we had and were extremely helpful! We will definitely stay again!

The home is very welcoming, sweet, warm and friendly. Very comfortable for the 5 ladies (mom and her 3 daughters and one granddaughter) from ages 42-84 and one 10 year old sweetheart. We enjoyed the old fashion record player and the modern tv. We loved the outdoor lights on the house and the privacy. We definitely used the trolley to check out the historic downtown of Branson. It's actually walkable to this historic area for most of us. A few of us really appreciated a hot bath in the clawfoot tub. The washer and dryer were a bonus! We were there for a family gathering and tour and a trip down memory lane with family. So, we didn't make it to any Branson shows this trip because our schedule was really full. Thank to Olivia and Cam for such a delightful place for us to stay.

We loved staying at Roark House. It's proximity to Branson Landing and other shops and restaurants was great. The house itself is so cozy and charming and has everything you need and the owner's were very responsive. If you are looking to get away in Branson, I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect house for our Christmas stay! Can see the strip from the deck and walking distance to downtown. Clean and spacious. When we got there we had a Christmas tree! Perfect and highly recommend.

My friend and I stayed for 4 nights at this lovely home. The house was spotless, tastefully decorated and felt like home. The location is close to downtown Branson, Branson Landing and several stores and eateries. The house was well stocked with everything one needs to start a vacation. Olivia is an outstanding host. I contacted her in evening that the coffee pot wasn't working. Within the hour she had a new coffeepot delivered to us along with 2 cans of coffee. Service doesn't get any better than that!!! I have rented several vacation homes and the Roark house is my all-time favorite. Thank you for sharing your home with us !!

Well restored somewhat older home (probably originally built in the 1940's - guess). Very comfortable with open floor plan, nice furnishings, and very adequate kitchen and baths. Nice large deck over-looking river and woods. Only issues were that deck could use some repairs and house had just a twinge of that "older home smell" about it. Owner was very responsive to questions that we did have and very easy to work with. Location was very convenient to both downtown and the strip. Would strongly recommend as an option for couples looking for a quiet, clean home in good location.

This property was so accessible to downtown Branson that you can walk to the Landing as well as the shops along Main Street, but you feel like you were in the woods enjoying nature. Just beautiful!!
