The house is awesome, location is great and price was fair. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect. Property is large

The only problem we had was that not all the tv worked. Some were missing remotes and others had dead batteries.

House is large. Lots of sitting areas.

This home is conveniently located and has some nice things in the kitchen as far as dishes, cutlery, and plates. However, this house could really use fresh paint and especially a carpet refresh on the stairs. The carpet all the way from the first floor to the top loft was dirty and stained. Fortunately the house had hardwood floors in the bedrooms so it felt cleaner in those spaces. The bathroom tub was missing a plug so it couldn't be used as a tub for our kids. Unfortunately, the management company couldn't get that replaced while we were there nor could they get the loose fan in the master bedroom fixed. However, the management company was able to bring in a newer coffee pot to replace the scummy coffee pot that was there and fix the shower door that was off track. The management company was very responsive by text but this house needs a refresh!

Fourth time in his neighborhood – it’s a great space. Recommended. Many rental properties are trending to provide a few more creature comforts in the home, and the property managers should do the same. For example- House has 5.5 bathrooms, yet supplied two rolls of toilet paper.

The location is great. The house could be perfect with some help. The sofa was falling apart and the floors were very dirty. The refrigerator was not working properly and froze many items we had in it. We could not find a temperature control in the refrigerator. The second morning we were there the stove top stopped working and could not be fixed. We always cook our meals on vacation. Many of these problems were on previous reviews this summer. I had hoped they would of been fixed before we got there.

Great stay
The house was perfect for our family, and a great location with easy access to the pool and bayside. We already are looking forward to booking the same house next summer.

Dirty House and no customer service help!
The development was great the house, not so much! It was completely filthy from top to bottom. The stove had grease all over it, including the range hood, bacon stuck in the heating coils, sugar or sand all over the counters and floors, the toilet handle had poo on it, hair in the bathroom floor, sinks and tubs a complete and utter mess! We had to clean the entire house before we were able to move our items in. An immediate call was made only to get we will call you back. We finally heard back from the company the next day after we had already cleaned and moved in. They offered to come and clean but we had already done so and it would have been very inconvenient to have to wait for the cleaners and we had all of our personnel belongings in the unit already. In this time of COVID that is completely unacceptable. I emailed pictures to the Vacasa with no response from there as to how they would accommodate us for the filth and taking time and money out of our vacation to clean an entire house! The refrigerator was also broken, we called several times with the old response of we will get back to you, never to be heard from again, I also sent several emails. My daughters fiancé did however fix it. YES, YOU'RE WELCOME! WE will NEVER RENT from this terrible company again, we still have not heard back from anyone as to what they are going to do to accommodate our hours of cleaning, money spent on cleaning products, and precious time taken from OUR Vacation! Awful customer service!! I'd give less than 1 Star if I could!

The house is nice, the check in process is easy, the property is very nice and all the staff is friendly. But, the house needs to be updated. The dryer didn’t work, there was broken furniture, the couch was falling apart, there were no bath rugs, and the house had an ant problem!
We stayed at the unit next door last year during COVID - they had bath rugs in all the bathrooms, the house was immaculate, they had bicycles in the garage and we saw no bugs.
I hope the management company shares this review with the owners.

We had a great week in this home. Can't beat the location. Quiet street. Steps away from the beach and restaurant. Beautiful home. Needs some minor repairs (i.e. shower door was off, some cabinets off hinges), but other than that, the house was great.

The home had a beautiful layout, but needed allot of TLC! The vacation started out with the home not being cleaned and ready for our arrival until after 7 PM (when we checked in a 4 pm). The family and I sat in the driveway for over 3 hours on a hot and steamy afternoon with our perishables being lost to the incident (meats and produce did not withstand the extended hours without proper refrigeration). Once in and unpacked we could relax and enjoy the environment. Some furniture broken (Dining room chair broke and living room sofa had ripped coverings) and the dryer was not properly drying clothing. All in all tolerable housing for the week, but in need of some serious upgrades considering the cost of renting for a week.

Check in was good. 1. The entire house was NOT been sanitized or cleaned properly. The remote controls should’ve at least been cleaned and wrapped so the new renter would know they had been sanitized. I would also expect that extra measures would be used during this COVID time.
2. The house smelled of mildew, mold and a dog.
3. The floors on the kitchen area were sticky like they had been mopped with a dirty mop.
4. The bathrooms showers and tubs were not clean
5. The cleaners washed the rugs in the washing machine and left fuzz from the rugs so I had to clean that out.
6. The oven has not been cleaned in a long time.
7. The trash containers outside were overfilled.
8.
Additionally,
The parking passes that were provided were expired and obviously were meant for another renter. I went to the security gate late last night and they provided a temp pass. They provided 3 passes to park but according to Vacasa you can park 4 cars and if you want to park outside of the home you pay $70 which makes no sense. According to the office at the sunset property, that’s an HOA requirement. My opinion that’s a money grab. By the way the women in that office are rude and definitely should not be providing “customer support”. One older white woman came from behind the office window and was clapping her hands very aggressively while speaking to me. Had that been me, a black woman, I’m certain the authorities would’ve been called. I walked out to maintain my dignity.
I am a business owner and I understand the need to turnover property in order to turn a profit for your business, however I suggest that you seek a more reputable and professional cleaning service, speak to the property managers and hire new staff at the Sunset front desk! This type of situation would potentially stop me from renting from Vacasa again.
