Breakfast was absolutely amazing. A la carte plus all the other goodies. Unlimited juice, friendly staff and nice coffee. Secure parking and the lovely courtyard
Street noise, but only until 21h30.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Queen Hotel. The manager, Shannon Govender, and his team made us feel very welcome and well taken care of. Our room had a great view over the courtyard, was clean and comfortable, had good WIFI, and were equipped with a TV, microwave and fridge. The hotel is centrally located so it's pretty easy to explore the restaurants and attractions around town. We'll definitely be back!

Convenient location right in the heart of Oudtshoorn - good for shopping, eating out and visiting Cango Caves and Ostrich farms. Charming older hotel - my room looked out to main street but still was quiet and comfortable. Included breakfast was especially nice served in the garden area. Staff was very helpful in getting laundry done which was much appreciated.
When electricity goes out due to South Africa’s load shedding, hotel does not have a backup generator to run a/c or elevator. I believe they are planning to get a generator so this may change.

Dinner restaurant was overbooked, staff made a plan, they were understaffed but did their best, food was 7/10 but tasty and on time. Breakfast was basic, coffee was terrible.
Afternoon spent with a cold beer at the pool was great, also had a snack at the Deli downstairs that operated during load shedding and made a fantastic burger.
Coffee at Breakfast was terrible.

We slept in the main bedroom as we were exhausted and it was late at night.

Our room could not lock and what was really exceptional is the fact that the staff made an effort to get us another room without any fuss.
The restaurant only operates on certain days.

Loved the old building, the character that it represented and the years of history that it displayed on the wall. The breakfast on the Sunday (Buffet in the hotel) was great! The staff were friendly and helpful
The ROOM! If you're going to put two single beds together to make a full king, please check that they are indeed level.
The room is outdated and mattress was not comfortable. If also looked like our room was not vacuumed open arrival.
Breakfast at the café, was horrible. the staff looked lost, the food was late and I kept having to run in to ask how far my order was.
