Situated in Fort Payne, this charming cabin for $171 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. The Bird house is right in the middle of the areas best attractions. It sits only 3 miles from Little River Canyon. While being only 4 miles away from DeSoto State Park. This cabin is perfect for a couples romantic retreat. Single bedroom, one bath cabin. The bedroom has a queen sized bed, a balcony leading out of the bedroom that overlooks the beginning of a 20 acre wooded lot. A custom large walk In shower with a clear glass door. Nicely decorated throughout and has a very warming feeling as soon as you walk in. Its fully stocked with kitchen utensils and pans. The cast iron skillets are to be used if you wish as well. We have a charcoal grill on the porch for those who like to cookout. The HOT TUB is a favorite among guest, perfect mood to light up the large outdoor firepit at night and sit back in the private hot tub, such a romantic and relaxing experience. The cabin sits at the front of a 20 acre lot that puts you right at natures door step. Great phone service and you can be in town within a 8 minutes drive. We are very close to Weiss lake at 17 minutes, Fort Payne reservoir at 10 minutes and Dekalb County lake at 20 minutes. So bring those boats and kayaks for some great fishing. We are very communicative and will happily guide you to the areas best attractions whether it be Restaurants, Fishing, Hiking, Malls and so on. We love to help. For the Romantic couples seeking to surprise there other half. We gladly offer flowers, champagne, cards, rose petals or whatever else you would like to have prior to your arrival for a small additional fee.

Cabin was clean and cozy (it’s a “shotgun style” cabin). We enjoyed the time away plus the area wildlife that visited while we were there - bunnies and a fox. Easy access to Fort Payne and surrounding areas. Enjoyed antique shopping in the area and in Chattanooga. Visit the Lodge Cast Iron museum and outlet store in South Pittsburg, TN.

Matt is a great host! Anytime we had a question or comment, he replied promptly. The cabin was clean. There were plenty of clean towels and other essentials that were needed. The cabin is located at the end of a well-maintained road and was private. Our stay was pleasant and we will definitely book this cabin again.

We rented this cabin for 2 nights so we could attend Alabama's June Jam. It was absolutely perfect! My only regret is we didn't get a chance to use the hot tub because we were so busy. Everything was clean and cozy. The property owner was great at communicating with us if I had any questions. The cabin is within a few miles of everything we wanted to do but was also secluded enough for us. Highly recommend! If we are ever in Fort Payne again we will be renting this cabin again.

The Bird House is a nice relaxing getaway. It is situated on a lovely piece of property with shade trees and fields. Most of our time was spent outside relaxing in the sunshine or shade.
The hot tub is located in the back with a great view of the firepit. They were great for evening relaxation after a long lazy day in the sun. The back porch nice and provided a great place to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning.
Plenty of bath towels were provided so we had plenty for both the hot tub and shower.

Super cabin. It was very clean, comfortable decorated really cute. It was a perfect place to leave the hustle and bustle of work and take a break. Conveniently built within short distance of amenities. Matt was great answering any question I had!! I can't find anything negative to say about my stay at all! Loved the shower! I will highly recommend this cabin to my family and friends! Thanks Matt!!!

The cabin was as described, clean, comfortable and cozy, especially for a couple.
I thought it was more secluded and private than it was. I was not expecting to see backyards of several houses.
For safety purposes, I'd recommend a second exit be added on the back deck leading to the hot tub and fire pit area.
Also, a fold down/up counter height table & bar stools, to be added to have a place to eat inside when it's too cool outside, would be very nice 😀
I would visit again for convenience of location.

Sweet, cozy cabin. Perfect for 2 people. The bed was super comfy and the shower is delightful. The hot tub is very nice at the end of an exploration day. We only used the microwave to reheat restaurant leftovers, but appeared the kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials and there is a charcoal grill on the back deck. The host was very kind, accommodating and responded to any needs in a flash. It’s a 10/10 in my books and highly recommend.
