About this house rental

Nestled in Girdwood, this lovely house for $663 per night is a great choice for your next break. Rental includes top two floors of house. Rental space has its own entrance, parking space, and three balconies. Master suite contains king bed, private bathroom and tub, balcony. Second bedroom has two twin beds, and third bedroom has twin bunk beds. Plenty of space for six people, including full kitchen with range, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and open dining room and living room. BBQ grill on the big balcony. (Guests can fill propane tank at Mercantile just minutes away or at gas station; propane is not included.) Gorgeous views of the mountains and adjacent to Girdwood park land for the feeling that you are nestled in the woods, yet plenty of southern exposure including the entire front balcony. Just a few minutes drive from ski resort. This home sits on the end of a residential street. A long-term tenant occupies the ground floor apartment and uses the parking space on the left as you pull up to the house. Tenant has separate entrance and completely separate living area. If you are looking for nice accommodations in a beautiful location this place is perfect for your family or friends to gather. Please note, although the apartment is spacious, the limit is six guests (children under 2 yrs. old in addition to the six guests are welcome). The home is not new construction, and although we have done some remodeling everything is not brand new. Please take a look at our photos, they are recent and should give you a good idea of the rental. No parties, we are in a residential neighborhood (and have a downstairs tenant). Sorry, pets are not allowed in the house or entryway at all even if they are well-trained (due to allergies). Thank you for your consideration and enjoy your time in Girdwood, Alaska.

Great privacy with this end of cul-de-sac home that features, three bedrooms and a loft. It was more than enough room for my family of five and made it easy for us to commute just a couple of minutes to the slopes. Would definitely stay here again it has all of the necessities that you need. And the quality is great, communication with the host was excellent.

Property was easy to get to and at the end of a quiet street. Owner is very helpful and home organized very well. Instructions from owner were very helpful and with enough detail to remove most questions. Owner was very responsive to our other questions. Home was spacious and well kept. Was a great stay!

Our expectations were higher due to the listing looking new and pristine. Reality did not live up to that, but it was adequate. My disappointments included dirty windows, no screens and it was HOT. Full of big flies when we arrived and no fly swatter. Lots of frying pans, but none clean enough to cook in. I purchased a new pan to make eggs. Instructions to remove shoes, but the floors made our socks very dirty. Needs a deep clean. Floor has water damage that is repaired with duck tape at the sliding door to the deck. Just not as well kept as I expected. I would stay again, but understanding the current condition is not reflected in the listing.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood felt like a tree house with views of the tree tops from the upper decks. We used this as home base and took a 1 day trip to Whittier for glacier cruise and 1 day trip to Seward for sailing in Resurrection Bay! A nearby hike to waterfalls was also fabulous for after dinner walk. Well stocked!

Great place for preparing meals as local restaurants can be busy during a holiday weekend. We had everything we needed and the location is fantastic. Host communications were clear and responsive. The entry was a great bonus to separate ski gear from living space!

This property was absolutely wonderful. It has beautiful windows that you can view the beautiful snow during the winter time. The drive up the road from the main road was plowed and well-maintained . The kitchen was fully stocked with all the things you need to make a meal and then some. It is conveniently located close to the Alyeska ski resort. There is also a little grocery store around the corner. Great location! My family will absolutely be staying here again. Check in was easy and the hostess was wonderful.
