The location was a little off the Romantica area about 4 or 5 blocks. THAT isn't bad for distance but the sidewalks and streets are not the most desireable for walking day or night (poor lighting) I LOVED the people and many food opportunities available. NUMEROUSshops offering quality goods are avilable and again the VARIETY of foods available will fit ANY appetite.
I would and coffee in my room and yes a restaurant in the hotel. have liked better air conditioning in my room

Price was affordable
Small room even smaller bathroom. Towels were not replaced daily. Handle to bathroom door was loose. Could not have visitors in hotel room was absurd.

Not for the people who want a generic hotel this one has character. A great walkable location and my room with a kitchenette and balcony was great. Not for the faint of heart top floor requires three sets of stairs and no elevator but it was worth it.
The open air windows to the courtyard area made it a bit noisy.

I have stayed here a few times. For the price, it is amazing. AC, wifi, a fairly comfortable room and great location. The staff is always friendly here.

The rooms are very big. Very comfortable and there is always a staff available 24hours. It's a very safe hotel.
There was an issue with guest visiting you at the room.

Great location. Clean rooms, clean common areas.
The wifi isnt available in all rooms, only the common areas. The roof access is great, but not suitable if you and some friends wanna enjoy a night on the roof, noise easily gets into the other rooms and someone will ask you to leave.

Really big room which was clean with our own bath. The wifi worked great, and the staff was really nice. We could leave our bags there when we arrived early and it's in a central area with only a few minutes of walk to the beach.

I like the location--near restaurants and bars. staff was very good and the price was good.

The room was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly if you could speak Spanish. There were a lot of good restaurants and bars nearby, because it was located in the Centro histórico.
The ceiling fan was very loud, and the noise from the street was even louder. Earplugs helped a little, but I'd recommend not staying next to the street. It was also quite expensive for what it was, especially in Mexico.
