The house was spacious and clean. We loved having a dishwasher and washer. We had all of the kitchen supplies we needed and plenty of towels. The host provided laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets and soap. We had plenty of room to spread out. The yard was well maintained and private.
Voices can be heard between floors because there is no insulation between the floors. You can talk to someone in the downstairs kitchen from the large upstairs bedroom, hear a phone conversation from the smaller upstairs bedroom in the downstairs living room, etc.
The large upstairs bedroom gets very hot. If you like sleeping in a cool room, bring a fan you can attach to the window. We were there in July but the room was above 80. The downstairs (1st floor) room with the pull-out couch gets chilly and is perfect for anyone who likes sleeping with blankets.
The lake is not steps away. It is down a street past several house and then across a busy street.
The host left a lot of interesting reading material about the area, which was great to read. There are also family games in the kitchen pantry.

The house was spacious and very clean. The yard was well maintained and had privacy. The kitchen was stocked with all of the pots, pans, dishes and utensils we needed. We cooked at the house a lot and have a dishwasher was great. With 3 kids, the washer and dryer came in handy. The host had dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent available. The lake is past several houses and then across a (very active) street from the house (a 5 minute walk).
As a heads up, there is no insulation between the floors. You can talk to someone in the downstairs kitchen from the upstairs large bedroom at normal volume. We were watching tv in the living room and heard my son talking on his phone in his upstairs bedroom. Having a private conversation requires some planning.
Our visit was in July. The only cool room was the one on the first floor (with the pull-out sofa). Even with the windows open and the ceiling fan on, the large bedroom was between 75-82 degrees. The smaller bedrooms were cooler. I think if you like to sleep in a cool room, bringing a clip-on fan and hooking it to the window ledge would do the trick.

The check in was simple and easy. The house was stocked with all thing necessary you would need for a stay. It was beautiful, cozy, and all around a perfect week. The check out was super simple and not too demanding, like other rentals we’ve been to. Would highly recommend to anyone and will be coming back. I already miss the house and will cherish the memories made in it forever!

Stayed here in February 2023 for snowmobiling in the Greenville area. Easy trail access from the house, ride down the street and hop onto the lake for a second and connect to the trails. Plenty of parking, house was clean and just as pictured. Came well equipped. Hope to return next time.

We spent a long weekend exploring the Greenville area. The house was central to everything and very well set up.

We arrived in the middle of the afternoon, the house was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. We entered and found the house neat and clean. We had everything we needed to prepare our dinner and all our meals.
All three of the bedrooms were neat as well. It was nice to have 2 pillows per person.
There were towels and shampoo, soap, and all we needed to get cleaned up.
There were 3 couples staying the weekend and we had no issues. Having the half bath on the main floor was a bonus as well.
The location is perfect!! Just a short walk to town and ATV/snowmobile trails are right there as well.
Thank you to our hosts for providing the perfect place for us to enjoy our weekend.

We had a fun long weekend. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The area is absolutely beautiful with so many things to do. The proximity to the lake was a little misleading on the listing. We were still close enough but couldn’t get to it at the .1 mile as listed. We figured as much since there were no pictures of the lake on the listing. The neighborhood is probably usually quiet when there isn’t road work and neighbors working on their house (nothing that could’ve been changed, these things need to be done). I think it would be a perfect spot for winter activities.

Charming cabin like design and decor. Creates a real feeling of being on vacation without any sacrifice to modern comfort and convenience. Well maintained, spotless and free of odor.
Grounds are pleasant. Semi private yard with fire pit. Nearby train tacks but seems just one or two come by a day and none too early or late. As the hours are not offensive the train actually was entertaining .
The place is located just an easy walk from Kelly’s, a nice lake front bar and restaurant. A longer,- 1.3 mile, walk will take you to the other side of town where several additional lake front eateries reside.
We found this place to be perfect in terms of property, quality, cleanliness, location. Would 100% use again!
