Stayed with a few friends for a bourbon tour trip. Loved the location and the house was great. Donald was responsive to my questions as well. Would definitely recommend.

This was my second stay at this lovely house. It’s in a perfect location for some peace but close enough to all the distilleries in Frankfort. Nice old farm house with everything you need for a trip to Kentucky. We love sitting by the fire pit in the evening and watching the sunset over the river. Will be making a trip back here again in the future.

What a great time! Views for days and the weather was perfect. Drove from Indiana to do the bourbon trail and the location was great. Super close to Buffalo Trace. We hit up Main Street Cafe for breakfast The Stave for dinner. What a great trip. Looking to book again soon!

Loved the serenity of the house! After busy days visiting several cities, it was so nice to go back to this house on the river. So peaceful and quiet. It’s an old house, so the layout isn’t open floor plan, but we enjoyed the history the house had.

House and location were beautiful. Location allowed us to stop at Buffalo Trace every morning for the bourbon of the day and explore other distilleries in the area. Enjoyed the time spent with our friends around the campfire each night and view of Kentucky river.

We went down here to do some of the bourbon trail activities. The convenience of the house was perfect for us. The view is really lovely, and the house is great. It's an older house that has some charm to it. We used the fire pit and appreciated that there was plenty of wood available!

Overall, we had a good stay. The house is nicely decorated but could have been cleaner. The photos in the listing show a lovely indoor fireplace but, upon arrival, we found a sign stating it is not for guest use. Bathrooms are very small. The property is located very close to a campground, which wasn't clear from the listing. The location worked very well as a central point for distilleries.

I booked the stay with Donald because I was looking for something that could accommodate my group of 8, while also not being too far from the main attractions we planned to visit over the course of the weekend. I can confidently say that Donald's place is not only a welcoming and peaceful property, but it was less than a half hour from all the things we wanted to see and do. Donald was very responsive on the day of check-in and even allowed us to access the place earlier in the day. We would definitely stay here again!

This property is spectacular! The view is unbelievably beautiful. The house is very cute and we had everything we needed. We wish the second floor would have had a bathroom, but other than that, it was great. We wish the weather would have been better so we could have spent more time outside. Such a nice, quiet spot and close to all the Frankfort amenities.

Beautiful property we had an amazing time. The view from the house was amazing. The kitchen had more than enough to cook with. Plenty of outdoor seating. The owners met part of our group early and were very helpful. Will certainly come back again

It's a bit out of the way which was just fine with us but know you will be a few miles from shops and restaurants. It had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable all around. The whole process was smooth including check in and out. Would definitely stay here again on another visit.

The property is spacious the home clean and well-kept. The kitchen was missing a few things e.g. chef knife, bread knife, small spatula, skillet bigger than 5 inches. 1000% would recommendation. This was a perfect oasis for the non bourbon hunters in out group and ideal base for those hunting the elusive brown libations

Lots of room to spread out for our group of 7 adults. Enjoyed the fire pit. Great location close to distilleries for tours and tastings, especially if you want to head back to Buffalo Trace each morning for the daily gift shop release.

My friends and I gathered here for a weekend visiting a couple distilleries and grilling meat. This was a great location for that - only 15 min outside of town - but far enough that you could get a great view of the sky at night and wonderful views of the river during the day.

Overall, we were very impressed with the property. The home was clean and well equipped. It met every one of our expectations. Four of us stayed there and used the property as a base for visiting the distillery's and a brewery. We found ourselves wanting to carve out enough time at the end of the day to enjoy the amazing views along with using the fireplace at night. We definitely will be back.

Beautiful property with lots of charm and character! Wonderful location for viewing the Ark Experience, downtown (don't miss the great park and playground), and best kayaking ever! Owners are very kind and thoughtful! Highly recommend this VRBO!

Our stay was exceptional, the property was perfect for our needs and the view is amazing. House is located within 10 minutes of Buffalo Trace and several other local distilleries. Frankfort was a good location for our small group to stay, with easily accessible places to eat and a very deep local history.

Property was amazing. Very clean, super easy booking, amazing price. The location is so perfect for Bourbon Trail and exploring Kentucky. We will be back for sure. The lightning bugs around the outdoor fireplace watching the river flow by was worth it alone!!!

We stayed at the river house for one night during a girls trip to Kentucky Bourbon Country. The house was clean and orderly and the surrounding yard and views were beautiful. Would definitely stay here again and arrive at the house earlier in the day so that we could enjoy the surroundings more.
