Pros: -The view -big space -comfy sofa -got help with the broken thermostat within like 4 hours of calling about it Cons: -broken thermostat during historically low temps -wouldn't accommodate late check out -fire alarm chirped here and there (maybe every 12-18 hours) -upstairs toilet was too slow to use booked during Christmas and didn't really want to spend all of the holiday calling to address these hiccups. wouldn't book it a second time & going to avoid Vacasa entirely for next rental. overall more of a bummer than a win.

We read several previous complaints and reviews about the beds squeeking a lot so we called and asked if the beds had been replaced cause my husband is a light sleeper and we were assured the the beds had been replaced new and it was not!! The bed squeeked a lot every time there is little movement in the master bedroom with the balcony so we used the bed in the second room with the bunkbed but it was very uncomfortable and I woke up with my back hurting a lot. Other than the bed issue, it was in a nice location about 4 min drive to the boardwalk or 20 min walk and the place was clean. We rented the place for the view from the back deck and it truly was a nice view.

I used to visit Ocean City as a teen. I am now 77. My sisters, ages 79 and 66, came up from Georgia to spend a few days at the beach. We had a great time relaxing on the deck and talking. I like ve the salt at and the calmness I feel when I’m on the water. The house was very comfortable with gas d since zed bedrooms, comfortable seating and a great view. I will return.

The house smelled so clean when we arrived! It is more spacious than it looks in the photos, plenty of room for all our stuff and for our family to spread out. Everything was very clean, just a little wear and tear expected from a rental. The kitchen is a really nice size, well-equipped with a coffee pot, toaster, toaster oven and all the basic dishes, pots/pans and utensils. The laundry room was a great size with storage. I appreciated that you provided linens and a bag with shampoo, conditioner, soap, dish soap, sponge, toilet paper and paper towels. Although if we were staying longer we would have needed more tp and paper towels. The view from the master bedroom is spectacular! The street is very quiet and the bay is so peaceful to just sit by and relax. Our favorite part was sitting on the balcony each night to watch the sunset! The only complaint, like others have said is the master bed squeaks a lot, we could hear it from the living room downstairs. It would also have been nice to have hand soap for the bathrooms and some hooks to hang towels. Other than that, it was perfect for our Easter getaway. We would love to stay here again!

Great view, quiet time of year, was a little chill in the air, so the electric fireplace was a nice touch. Little dated furnishings and the master bedroom bed is very noisy, as previoulsy note din other reviews. Enjoyed our stay very much, was pretty much as advertised.

We’ve been planning this getaway for months now. We brought 3 families together including 5 adults and 5 children under 12. The photos were really nice, but that’s where it ended. Let’s start with the kitchen since we were trying to cook a lot of meals to save money and not eat boardwalk garbage all week. This is not a well appointed kitchen. It seems like the owners made a quick trip to Goodwill and got what was available. The toaster was broken, there were no potholders, no serving utensils, and almost no bakeware. We had one kitchen towel which had to serve as towel, potholder and trivet all at once. They said they would provide linens. We had 6 bath towels for 10 people. No wash cloths, no hand towels. The sheets on the beds were, I’m fairly certain, made of that same material they use for potato sacks. And while we’re on the beds, the King room bed made it impossible to move unless you wanted to wake the entire house with the creekiness and volume of the rusted springs. And that brings me to the deck chairs. There was a previous complaint about them which claims to have been addressed. It wasn’t. While eating crabs, my 180 lb friend ended up on the ground having had the chair crumble beneath him. This is not a light chair. They are wrought iron and the screws had rusted through. If this was a child that had fallen or an older person, we’d be having a very different conversation. When I texted Vacasa about it, there response was “Sorry, can you move it to the side?” Needless to say, we will not be renting another Vacasa managed property in the future. After so long being stuck in our homes without many opportunities to travel, it’s so disappointing that this was our experience.
