This condo is the smaller of the two spaces featuring essential kitchen appliances for preparing small meals after full days of adventure. Plus, you can end each day on a relaxing note with a movie playing on the flatscreen TV as the stars come out. This retreat also offers access to a community BBQ in case you'd like to treat your guest and yourself to delicious, grilled meals. Things to Know Free high-speed WiFi Both sides of this condo can be booked together at Hale Moi #103 There is one shared gas grill and one shared charcoal grill (guests need to bring the charcoal). Both are located in between buildings 5 and 6. This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 1. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The condo was beautiful, the AC worked great, the beds were comfy, there were beach chairs and towels that came in handy for when we went to the beach and the community was so nice and quiet and even had a Farmers Market on Saturday ☺️

Great location- quick access to beaches, whale watching and sunsets. Chaired and towels for the beach were provided. Very quiet. Beds were fine and appreciated the fans. It was fun watching the birds on the patio- but the view is not the best. There were too many Knick knacks around. No space to prepare food. Electrical system very sketchy- run a toaster and a coffee pot and you pop the circuit breaker. Everything is plugged into an extension cord. Parking was close and easy. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again because it is really weird that there is no kitchen sink- if you choose to eat in, all dishes have to be washed in the bathroom sink. Also, in regards to the property manager- they were very in unresponsive to my questions prior to arriving. I got a response the second day of my stay and it wasn’t even the answer to my question. When I responded with that information, they responded again answering my question, but since I was already there I knew that their response was wrong! Anyway- I have had better luck working with the owners instead of a property manager.

Easy walk to hideaways. Also a surprisingly great place to stay to surf hanalei bay…just hike down alongside the st Regis and paddle out thru the keyhole in the reef at Puu Poa which drops you off right outside of the deepest takeoff zone. After you’ve had enough epically long rides paddle back to the pier, cross the river, and hike back to the same trail! Easy peasy. It would be nice to have a little more kitchen space/place to store some food but not really a big issue. Easy enough to do dishes in the bathroom and why cook anything when you can get great poke to go nearby! One thing that needs work is the electrical load capabilities. There is a warning not to run ac with the microwave and toaster but we actually set it off without even doing that. There is a sign in the room indicating that is a known problem and in process of being fixed…so again…not a big enough issue to impact decision. All in all great place. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Lots of nice walks to take around the neighborhood. Seriously go snorkel at hideaways , I think it is one of the best spots on the island and there isn’t enough parking to go there and actually find parking unless you stay somewhere close like this.

The condo we stayed at was absolutely what we wanted and expected. It was furnished beautifully and had everything we needed to have a fabulous time on the North Shore. We definitely will return here. It was pure heaven.

On arrival the streets are mostly unlabeled tha single room has upper and lower level both full with a bed. No table no couch etc. I had to sit in the car to read. The four “appliances “ ona counter came with warning: unplug everything else including air conditioner before using. The shower was a treacherous ice slab. No hand holds. The tub and side shelf were very wide so far wall could not be used as support

Walk down flight of stairs , only natural light sliding glass door looking out on wall of trees. No chairs or table, had to wash dishes in bathroom sink next to toilet. Unmarked drop off between two beds with refrigerator at steps. Parking was by permit, would be ok if did not have to park a 1/4 mile from room after looking in 7 lots to find a space! Plus had to walk in dark with no street lights—- dangerous.

Pretty noisy: When neighbors were using washer/dryer, it was very loud in our unit. Hard to sleep. Also, from midnight until daybreak, for two nights there was a loud ticking noise next to my bed that woke me up and kept me awake. The neighbors' TV was loud, too. Good beds and bedding: A definite plus. Otherwise, the place was pretty shabby: Towel bar had been removed from wall and was lying in the closet; the tub was fine as a shower, but no stopper meant no soaking in the tub; tub is old and stained, tiles surrounding it need new grout and to remove the black mold-lines; the mirror is old and has ugly black scar lines around the edges; the fridge had no icecube trays and there were no spoons, but service provided those within a few hours after I reported it. The whole place could use a new paint job and some sprucing-up.

Comfortable beds and pillows. I threw out my back on this trip, so that turned out to be quite critical! Loved listening to the birds in the morning on the lanai. Great location. We had friends who had a full kitchen and living space, so we didn’t try to do much more than bagels in the “kitchen”. Closet had a boogie board, cooler bags and beach chairs which we weren’t expecting. Blow dryer and iron also. I don’t remember much of that being listed. We had a great time!

This is a small room, that's it. Feels like a cave. Two beds and a bathroom. Clean for sure. Steps noted as slippery and they were - even when dry. But if you have notes at the tops of steps throughout the property and you don't do anything about it - at some point that risk becomes the owner's responsibility. Wife fell and still haven't heard from owner or property manager. Was disappointed.

Perfect for the “north part” of our Kauai vacation -comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do ! The only downfall is the lack of a real kitchen. You’ve got all the appliances but then are supposed to wash your dishes in the bathroom sink ? Just ate out in this portion of the trip.

We had a major hiccup upon check-in (at 1am, we still had not received door code arrival email) although it was not fun at that moment, the next 7 days were great. Vacasa had great customer service; we finally spoke to them the next day. It is a convenient condo with all of the basic necessities--fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, and great beach chairs/bags/towels. It is so close to Princeville Market, we walked there every single day.

What a find! A total gem!

What a find! A total gem!

We absolutely loved staying here. The view to the rainforest from the back deck/lanai is so peaceful and secluded. The beds were super comfortable and the condo thoughtfully stocked with things we may need for our stay. We barbecued a couple times at the communal bbq nearby and just loved how close to everything this condo is. Such great value and so clean and comfortable! We will definitely be staying here again!

The room was pristine! Lots of extra towels, beach towels, cooler, and chairs. Loved the cool A/C in the room, the patio that over looks the Hawaiian jungle and a table and chairs out back to have morning coffee and look at all the birds. The beds were super comfortable and also appreciated the welcome gifts of great Hawaiian goodies.
