Located in Mexico Beach, this charming condo for $481 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. UNIT 18 is located on the top floor of Surfside, the only Gulf-front Complex in Mexico Beach, FL. The Happy Seagull beachfront vacation retreat is a beautiful, spacious, modern, luxury two-bedroom, two-bath condo, at the end of the road directly on the white-sand beach (no roads to cross). This rental features high-quality furniture, 100% Hygro-Cotton white bedding, quality white cotton towels (beach towels are also provided), unique artwork, a fully stocked kitchen, smart TVs, and more. The relaxing and large gulf-view balcony sits on the east side of the building, perfect for watching the sun rise in the gulf breezes as you enjoy your morning coffee from this top-floor condo. A signed rental agreement is required to confirm booking, so please review. Check-in instructions will be emailed a day or two before your arrival and check-out instructions are in the condo. A monitored security camera is at the entry/front door. The primary bedroom has a king bed with ocean views and large ensuite bathroom; the second bedroom has a queen bed, ocean views, and has a bathroom directly across the hallway. This condo sleeps four, with a queen cabinet bed available in the living area for two extra guests. Maximum occupancy is 6 according to code -- strictly enforced. The modern ceramic dining table seats six with leather chairs, and four bar chairs sit at the bar in-between the kitchen and dining space provide additional seating space. Two large sliding glass doors lead out to the long balcony with Adirondack chairs for relaxing outside in the Florida sunshine. Both bedrooms have comfortable carpet underfoot, while the rest of the condo has beautiful LVT floors. Surfside Condos has an elevator (as well as stairs, of course) that will take you right down to the beach with no busy street to cross. The Happy Seagull Condo at Surfside is located on the quiet west side of Mexico Beach, and is within walking distance of several shops and (our favorite) Mango Marley's restaurant on Hwy 98. Surfside is a gulf front condo complex with fantastic views and easy beach access (the beach access point is at the end of the street) . The building is the only condo complex located beachside and is located at the end of the street. It is not directly on Highway 98 like the others, making noise and traffic less of a concern. This is strictly a pet-free home. No emotional support dogs allowed in this transient property. Dogs are not allowed on Mexico Beach, and this property does not have a yard. Please don't try to sneak in your pets; there are monitored security cameras outside the property. Please remember that Mexico Beach is still rebuilding after Hurricane Michael and local construction is continuing throughout the area. 5 night stay minimum March-August (unless there are gaps to be filled on the booking calendar). This property offers monthly rates and discounts for stays longer than 10 days...just ask the host for pricing.

We had the BEST vacation at The Happy Seagull! The condo was amazing and the proximity to the beach made going back and forth with the kids so easy. Communication with Tammy was great. She was quick to respond and always so polite. We hope to go back next year!

The condo was great and exactly what we needed for our family. I brought supplies for the kitchen and bathrooms that we ended up not using because it was already provided. My boys favorite part was the walkin shower that they called the "fancy shower". We can't wait to come and stay again!

The location is fantastic. the condo has just been renovated and is very clean. Great big new washer and dryer and kitchen is well equipped. The vertical blinds are hard to deal with. They are kind of flimsy and we were weary of touching them. We were awakened at 6am every morning by the very strong sun as there were no blackout curtains in the bedrooms. We love to sleep till 830am especially on our vacation but it was impossible. I think the unit was a little overpriced.

The property was exactly as described. It is just a few steps from the beach. The condo is well furnished including the kitchen, bathroom, laundry and beach chairs. A very peaceful area except for lots of construction in the area during the day (and super early) , they are rebuilding from a hurricane though. The beach is beautiful white sand, you can walk for miles and only see a few people (Jan/Feb). Beautiful sunrises can be seen from the balcony and the sunsets over the water from the beach are breathtaking. Even some dolphins were spotted from the balcony! The pool was not open due to it not mtg a Florida code and was super green. The owner was extremely responsive to any need, such as when the cable/wifi went out- she got it back online in minutes. The town is tiny-if you are looking for nightlife this is not the town for you. Currently one restaurant, a gas station and a coffee shop. The locals are extremely friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this property, it’s a great escape from busy lives!

So nice to see Mexico Beach on the comeback! This complex is in a great spot, yards from the beach and a very easy walk to the water. A well-working elevator and 2 available carry carts made being on the upper floor really easy. The condo is beautifully decorated and one of the cleanest and most comfortable I’ve stayed in. The seagull theme in the artwork throughout is very charming and well done. The host provides a starter supply of cleaning products, paper towels, detergents, coffee, so you don’t have to immediately rush out and find them at the grocery store. There is a very helpful ‘Welcome’ book in the unit, with details about your stay and the area. There’s an updated Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker and all the cups, plates, silverware, knife set, pots and pans you will need. Tammy’s thought of everything in the kitchen, and it’s quality products and in great working order. The beds are firm and very comfortable. Lots of room in the master bed and bath. The second (queen) bedroom is a bit on the small side, but still has great closet and storage in the closet, as well as side tables and bright lamps on each side of the bed. Next door to the complex is still undergoing construction and progress, so you may have to be patient with the daytime noise. There was a driveway being put in a neighboring house while we were there, so there was 2-3 days of dump trucks bringing in dirt and gravel while we were there. Happily, the workers didn’t start before 8:00am and didn’t work past 4:00pm, so we just made sure we were exploring the surrounding area while this was going on. Great shops, grocery and food options in Port St. Joe too. Just remember Port St Joe and Appalachacola are on EST, so check the times that things open/close., especially at night. The nearby construction certainly didn’t affect our attitudes about the location; we are happy to see such progress in the area and glad to see this community on their feet again. Great stay!

Wow, what a great week! We were hoping for a quiet beach vacation and that's exactly what we got. This condo is so nice and new (rebuilt since Hurricane Michael), well equipped, and located on a quiet beach. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The owner was great on communication, before and during our stay. Prior to our trip, I asked for a few recommendations on restaurants, shopping, outings and excursions. She offered several and we took her advice and were not disappointed. The condo is beautiful and clean, with great ocean views. The building is small, so not a ton of neighbors making noise. She provided everything we needed for our week, including some beach equipment (we flew down, so could not bring a lot with us) to borrow, a well-equipped kitchen, bath, and laundry room. She remembered a lot of important details like coffee filters, a pair of scissors, and chip bag clips. :) All of those small comforts of home that you don't think to bring with you. We used the condo and quiet beach as our home base and thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there. But, we also explored the area and drove to various other towns and beaches like Port St. Joe (excellent restaurants: Quatro Locos and Jo Mama's), Apalachicola, St. George Island State Park, Panama City, St. Andrews State Park, and St. Joseph State Park. This condo is wonderful, Mexico Beach is beautiful and peaceful, and it was a wonderful family vacation. 5/5*****, highly recommend!

Located on a nice, wide, white sand part of the beach. Everything in the unit was clean and new. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. Parking was easy. Pool was a little dirty and small but we knew that from the pictures.
