Enjoyable retreat close to the beach. Accommodations were just what we were looking for given most of the time was spent out enjoying San Diego. Given January weather didn't need to worry about not having A/C. Though, bring enough clothing depending on length of stay with no washer/dryer. Overall great experience.

We loved our stay at this house! It was walking to a lot of amenities and the beach. The house was clean and comfortable. Some issues with the door locking due to wood swelling, but that can happen anywhere and the property manager answered to text messages very quickly. Great service. Thanks!

Nice place for a family beach stay. Very clean, nicely equipped kitchen, plenty of seating in living area. Plenty of bedroom space for our group of four adults, one child, and a baby. Big, big plus was parking for two vehicles in the driveway.

Short walking distance to the beach but please be aware this property has no air conditioning and it can get warm and muggy inside during summer months. Fans are provided but definitely don’t replace air conditioning. There is also no washer or dryer and the beds are very hard.

Cute house and excellent location, buyer beware. Listing indicates coin laundry but does not specify the coin operated machines are offsite. Listing indicates no a/c but does not have screens on a bedroom window or kitchen window which makes it not possible to open windows and leaves house very stuffy and muggy. Front door door handle doesn’t work properly. Listing indicates sleeps six but only has 4 beds one of which is a fold up with no bedding. We had to rewash many kitchen items. No dish rags and one roll of paper towel. The management company is completely incompetent. Took them 19 hours to return my first inquiry about all of the above. When they finally called they wanted me to deal with a vendor to have the screens repaired. Other issues were not resolved. You will have an 800 number to call and the answering service is similar to a large credit card answering service. You will never deal with the same person or anyone local.

Nice house, very clean. Could use a few fans for better airflow, the bedrooms got stuffy in the evening. Great location, easy access to beach. Food and convenience stores are easy walking distance away.

This home is really cute. It’s been recently updated, and the decor is beautiful. The location just down from the beach is great! Decent communication with the property management company before and during the stay.
The home has parking for two small cars (we had a minivan and a truck and the truck almost fit). We were warned by multiple people that it’s a high crime area, so we were careful to keep doors locked at all times.
It is stocked with only the absolute basics of what you’ll need. Only two hand towels for the bathrooms in the whole place. No extra bath towels, although the beach towels were appreciated.
Bedding is scarce. There are no extra blankets, so what you get is what you get. Which leads me to the heating. We stayed in December when it’s cooler outside. The only heat in the house is a single wall heater in the living room. We were pretty chilled all night and would have loved some extra blankets. The master bedroom bed is rock hard…I was in pain each morning. The twin bed is a rollout bed that only fits in the living room, so just know if you’re planning on using that, it’s not in a bedroom. FYI, there is also no AC if you come in the summer.
When we arrived, there were no ceiling lights functioning in half of the house, including the entire upstairs. We called Vacasa, but they didn’t send anyone out until the next day. So our first night, we were freezing in the pitch black, showering with a dim lamp we moved into the bathroom. I was pretty disappointed in the lack of response from the property managers. Given how much we were paying, I don’t think we should have felt like we were camping. I asked for a discount for that first night, and they did not respond. Pretty disappointed in the lack of customer service there.
The property maintenance guy that came out the next day was awesome! Super friendly, fixed the issue with the lights right away, gave us advice on things to do and see, and upgraded us to a nice coffee maker without us even asking! Plus he brought over several space heaters. He went above and beyond…great service there!
We enjoyed the games that were in the home. Cranium entertained us for hours!
Overall, it’s a cute home with great potential. Just needs to be stocked better, and I’d recommend leaving the space heaters for future guests.

We were 2 couples who met in San Diego for the weekend. The size and location were fantastic. One bedroom is upstairs and the other down so everyone had privacy. There is a small outdoor area out front and a deck upstairs off the bedroom. We couldn’t all fit in either space together but ended up walking to the beach and restaurants. A few things to be aware of… You’ll be up at 6:30 a.m. when the planes start coming in to SD airport. Downtown OB has some sketchy areas that remind me of the Tenderloin in SF. We were fine with it but understandably we didn’t see any families in those areas at night. Lastly, there were a few fleas. We are dog lovers so didn’t mind.

This bungalow was in an amazing location. We could easily walk to Ocean Beach multiple times a day. We liked chilling in the front yard and having a parking space in the driveway. Thanks for providing 2 boogie boards and 2 beach chairs, too! Being near the airport, there was a lot of airplane noise -- starting early in the morning and going into the night.
