The bathroom was not very clean. There was loose dirt particles on bathroom floor. There was hair on the clean towels. Also, the TV remote control did not work.

We were pleasantly surprised by the appointments in this property. I can honestly say that the use of space and convenience features were better than some 5-star hotels. Check-in was friendly and swift. The room was clean and had a lot of well thought out features: abundant towels, enough hooks in the bathroom for 4 sets of towels to hang and dry, a deep closet with real hangers and a laundry basket, deep drawers and shelf space for clothing and shoes, flexible work and dining table, pre-chilled fridge (too many hotels keep the fridge on a warm setting), several trash bins, and comfy bedding.. We booked the hotel for a lacrosse tournament and didn't expect much but this really gave me a great impression of Candlewood Suites and I will look to book with them again.

Bed was a bit small for a queen size.

The facility itself was nice. I’ve actually used candlewoods in a different city and loved the size of the space. Now what I did not like was that the tv in the bedroom area did not work. The room had two phones. Neither of which worked. The front desk would not let us have extra towels unless we brought down towels in a hamper that we were supposed to have but did not. One bed was super noisy, lumpy and squeaky. Not comfortable in the slightest. The site said that breakfast was provided, but was told that was not true at all. Overall I’d rate my stay a 3 out of 10. 3 for the nice facility and ease of checking in.

The employee door shuts very loudly all night long. I did not get to sleep, the door would slam and I was awake. Need to fix the door!!!

Horrible service. Had issues checking in, had issues with simple requests, teenager at front desk did not know system or how things work and manager would not confront issues.

I booked a suite w a kitchen which we didn’t need. I thought breakfast was included but was not. We specifically went there for the pool and spa and spay was hot but didn’t work properly (jets) which is the main reason to get into a spa.

Could have booked cheaper hotel but went with this one because it had hot tub and breakfast. Upon arrival was told it was a long term hotel so they didn’t have breakfast. After being out returned to relax at pool and hot tub but it wasn’t working. Now know to call hotel to confirm amenities.

Manager Angelica made our stay extremely convenient. She went above and beyond our expectations during a busy time for Texas A&M weekend. The suite layout was super comfy and inviting. We’d love to deal with this type of professionalism in the future again.
A billion thank yous !!!

I arrived early at around 11am. The parking lot was empty except for the construction workers. Upon check-in I was told my room wasn't ready but would be ready in about an hour. So I decided to use the pool while I waited. But...I couldn't because it was green. The pool guy had just been there and dumped a bunch of chemicals in it. So I waited in the lobby which had a heavy industrial chemical smell. I was given room 119. The refrigerator rattled all night. I had to wear ear plugs. The room smelled of pine and purple fabuloso. I had to go buy citrus ordor neutralizer. Our beds were soft and we slept well. The room was well stovked with items for preparing your own food. We were 12 minutes from the texas a&m campus memorial student center.

Room really smelled like dog’s urine, I understand they allow dogs in the rooms but they should wash the carpets more often if they do that, Horrible experience, I left my number to speak to the manager but no one called me.

I never came, and canceled the reservation, but my card was still charged for the reservation!! Very disappointed!!

The room was nasty. The tub was filthy. Towels so thin. Comforter on the bed was ripped along the edge. The smell in the room was disgusting.

Our check in was slow because there was a new employee that had not been properly trained and left to figure things out on her own. She was doing her best and was very nice, but we felt sorry for her being left in that position. Everything else was fine except that the ice maker in our fridge did not work and the front desk didn't have any ice buckets. We took some tupperware from the kitchen and got enough ice to last us through our stay. Also no wine glasses in the room but the manager at Texas Roadhouse was kind enough to give us two.

Seems like an older property there is a smell of bleach in the hallways, front desk and lobby area are extremely small. It was and okay stay but a bit pricey

We had a nice suite. We have stayed here every year because we love this place and can count on it but this year out room wasn't cleaned well. We stay a week so we had to clean surfaces ourselves. That was disappointing.

The rooms were a tad older and could use some upgrading...the wind whistled through the AC all night and I just personally felt for $195 a night it should have been a peaceful nights sleep :(
