Best possible CBD location, superb value; perfect for solo traveler set on being out and about. Great service too.

Room is small but it got everything.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was clean and comfortable and the location was great. Very good value for the money. The only con is that the staff is not very friendly.
4.0
Handy location for central shopping area and restaurants, plus has its own bar and eatery. Laundry availability was appreciated. Very helpful staff at reception. Only negative was small room size with only two stools for sitting.

The bathroom was tiny, no closet space for clothes, and the bed was small and uncomfortable.
2.0
Talk about minimalistic. No room for table and chairs, no room for our luggage, tiny shower/ toilet setup and only able to exit the bed from one side.

It was a convenient place to stay right in the center of the city. The rooms are TINY and hardly enough space for two people, luggage etc
3.0
Tight rooms but they work, limited space for luggage and coats as the hanger is over the desk. Clean and tidy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is cute. The room was the size of a walk in closet. It wss fine for me, but if there were two, it would have been tight not to mention the opaque shower/bathroom wouldn't give much privacy.

Issue with the services. Very small rooms and bad breakfast

Was ok, but tiny room and no windows (which I was aware of at booking but it’s not that pleasant), also very noisy with internal pipe and water noise
6.0
Very small window, which could not be opened.
To expensive for what we got.

Very good space. I stayed in an internal room for two nights. It was very comfortable given the space and although small was very well played out
There was a sound that was like hearing loud air conditioning in next room. This may not impact others but I wore earplugs to reduce the vibration noise
I would stay in similar rooms going forward

The staff could do with a bit of training in customer service, and the property is a bit worn (the lights in my room did not work properly), but the hotel is in a great location.

Okay but smaller rooms not recommended had to upgrade

Comfort, coziness & great service

Double bed is hard over to one side - to share this bed, one person has to clamber over the other person to get in and out. Only suited to ONE PERSON.
To top it off, we found out that we had been sleeping on broken AND missing slats. Was told it was our fault for not pulling apart the freshly serviced bed to do a bed inspection when we checked in.

As a solo traveler,I can't say enough. Rooms are compact, but everything works well. Perfect for my needs, a bed, shower, bathroom, fridge, power outlets,TV.
Breakfast option for 17NZ had hot options and very good.

This is one of the smallest room that I have been stay into but provide everything you need. I just like the location not far away from Riverside Market. View free parking after 5pm near the hotel was a bonus.

Looked really great on photos. Was very small. I have never stayed in a hotel where cleaning service was a la cart. Didn’t realize I needed to pay extra.

The inner urban double is a standard small room format i am familiar with in Japanese hotels of similar concept. The Japanese equivalent (in the same price bracket) offers a little more room with windows to allow natural light in (at least in the ones i have stayed in). The lack of windows in this hotel was not overly pleasant reminding me of the small concrete box i stayed in at Merauke once. The double bed was not at all comfortable at the edges (perhaps the beds are getting worn?) which is where one would sleep if there were two in the bed. Bed clearance was there to allow for under bed storage (a good idea) but did not need to be so high off the floor to make for this provision.

The room was a bit small so all the electronic devices and emf bothered my head other than that it was pleasant.. everything else was good 🙂

Found it a little difficult to find/access the laundry rooms and vending machine etc, as your key only allows you access to the floor your room is on. Staff at the front desk are pretty helpful though. Didn't have a window in my room and i wasn't warned about that, fine for me, but I know some people particularly with the very small rooms will not cope with that. Thus if you feel you will need window to feel comfortable, you may want to tell them at booking time. If you are a very large person you might have difficulty with the design of the bathroom/shower as they are very narrow in places with the strange curved in the corner design. Otherwise, great price, comfy bed, small mini fridge, iron, kettle, convenient location, very clean, does the job.

The hotel demanded and wrote down my credit card information at arrival, depite that I had payed for the room in advance. Think about if you want to take the risk of having money stolen or your card locked for payments and withdrawals for the rest of your journey.
I think I had a double room. The room was small and cramped. For me as solo traveller it was ok. The room was pleasant and comfortable for me.
The hotel was expensive. Breakfast was not included but an extra 25 NZD. That also was expensive but it was a good buffet breakfast.
The hotel is centrally located in Chistchurch. Only about 5 minutes walk to the central busstation, and a few minutes to the central square and the main street with shops. There is no railway station for ordinary people in Christchurch any more. The people stopped going by train. The tourist train station is inconveniently located some km outside of the centrum. The bus station is the main public transportation hub.

It is very handy to the CBD and the bus station.

Great stay. Super friendly staff. Highly recommended

The bar and restaurant seating area are in front so be sure to walk through this open area to the check in area. The rooms are "efficiency" sized! ;-) Just be aware that is what you will be getting. The AC never did cool the room per se below about 73F. It's a very convenient location to the CBD and major attractions.

Right in the middle of the city and shopping lanes. Everything needed in walking distance including the riverside markets. Laundry was super easy to use and staff were super helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back again.

Liked the sraff. Pics make the room look bigger with the mirror. Would liken it to prison cell, so small and no windows. Aircon could do with clean, we worked out thats where smell was coming from.
6.0
There was aircon noise continuously in the bedroom together with water sounds from neighbouring bedrooms.
