Clean, quiet, comfortable, and safe. Friendly staff and great restaurant recommendations that were close by for meals. Looking forward to the free breakfast in the morning. Room is immaculately clean, spacious, and spotless. Beautiful hotel and definitely one we will return to in the future. We highly recommend this Hampton Inn & Suites by CSUS!

A nice newer hotel. The room was clean and roomy and the bed was comfortable. My room was facing the highway and the road noise was minimal. Two things you should know prior, one they charge a $11.50 parking fee and two, there's a homeless camp right across the street.

Very clean, new and easy to navigate. Minimal noise from outside despite being next to the highway. I really appreciated how gracious the gentleman manning the breakfast area was; he kept it very clean and even helped me carry my items to the table. Young man at the front desk was helpful in suggesting places to grab a quick inexpensive dinner nearby. Thank you for using unscented laundry products, and for keeping a minimalist aesthetic.
Just a few tips: 1) Please provide an opaque cover for the thermostat in the room. It shines too brightly at night. 2) Adjust the door closers so they don't slam. Each slam rattles the whole floor. 3) Put a sign in the bathroom and on the beds suggesting guests re-use their towels and sheets for the duration of their stay, to save water, electricity and gas.

We stayed here while checking out Sacramento State. We got an accessible room - did not ask for it. Huge! We were on the top floor right by the elevator and it was so quiet. Our room was super clean and there’s a lot of parking, which is apparently not always free (ours was, but we are HH members.) Breakfast was great - nice selection. There is a homeless encampment right across the train tracks (the hotel is by the tracks but the trains actually never bothered us.) and there’s a Target nearby if you need anything. We would stay here again. Pretty close to campus, too.

It was a last minute reservation requiring 5 rooms for our extended family due to an emergency at UC Davis medical center. We also needed a pet friendly hotel. Hampton checked all the boxes. Thank you for accommodating us with all our needs - placing us on the same floor within close proximity to each other. And for including breakfast. Staff was friendly and understanding to our family situation. Well worth staying if you need to be close to the hospital.

We love staying at the Hampton Inn and Suites at CSUS when we come to Sacramento to visit our daughter at Sacramento State. The staff are always so friendly, helpful, and seem to be happy to work there. This positive culture carries over to the guests and always makes for a pleasant stay. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and I love the eco-friendly toiletries in the shower and bathroom. Would highly recommend.

Everything was great but was not told about paying for parking

Great place, with clean rooms and facilities. The gentleman who took care of the morning breakfast was awesome, friendly, and attentive.
I stayed one week and it would have been nice to have my room cleaned, towels refreshed and bedding refreshed.

Absolutely impressed with the staff, the room & the amenities. Security presence was also a big win for me at night since I was traveling as a solo female. All processes were easy and efficient. Will definitely stay again when visiting Sacramento.

Easy check-in, secure parking lot, central location and the cleanliness of the hotel and room was outstanding. The gentleman who was serving breakfast was very polite and friendly and did a wonderful job!

We had a great time staying there! The surroundings are not exactly super clean but we didn’t care about that much. The room was super spacious and super clean. The breakfast food was great, the staff is super polite and friendly. If I had to pick one thing to complain about - it would be the bathroom sliding door which was hard to move for my kid and it doesn’t close all the way. But that wasn’t something to ruin our stay - everything else was absolutely perfect. Will definitely come back next time I need to be at Cal Expo.

This was my second time staying here at around this time due to a convention Im participating in.
The hotel always has a nice environment and cleanliness to it.
But this time there was a slight smell that I wasn’t fond of.
Whether it’s residual but the room I was in smelled between musky and/or smoky.
The bathroom and bed were all clean. But it was the air or carpet that had an odor.
I do plan to stay the next time I’m around. Just a misstep in this stay.

Room was not as pictured or described. Front desk person was rude when asked about discrepancies. No coffee available during breakfast. Hotel manager unwilling to help front desk clerk.

Have stayed here before and never had to pay for parking now. They’re charge 11 dollars a night !!! Crazy . Also be careful I was almost charged 2 time for my stay !

Very clean room. Amenities were fine. Bed was little lumpy, but not terrible. Parking machine hated me, and I it. Neighborhood was not great and no close eating options...just a short drive.

Love staying here. Easy parking, breakfast and morning coffee, room amenities and comfy beds all make for a great stay

Very clean and very new, very friendly staff that were so eager to assist and accommodate, which was very much appreciated. The only thing I didn’t like was to have to pay for parking. Otherwise everything was great and I would highly recommend. The only other thing I would suggest is, because I booked with hotels.com. I wasn’t able to get discounts that were available on site such as AARP or AAA and that was a bummer.

Friendly, clean and a very nice breakfast. Thank you, we will be back.

The room was nice and quiet. I was disappointed that they do not freshen your room unless you ask for it. I found out that on top of the expensive cost of the room, I had to pay over $11 per night for parking! Won’t do that again!

Nice size pool, and breakfast.
Super streamlined check in experience.

Clean, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Only paper cups available in the room; when I asked for something else (either glass or plastic) the desk clerk offered to try to scrounge up a plastic cup. Extra fee for parking is annoying.
