The Hotel is on ae good place and very close from the Times Square. It was clean and also quiet for ae Hotel in the city of New York.
The only terrible thing, was the wait time for eat breakfast. Every morning 25 minutes in minimum. It should have ae second floor for breakfast. The breakfast meal was really good!

We had a wonderful time in a family suite. Beds were comfortable and we had enough room to get around. Kept having troubles logging people into the WiFi but staff was always super helpful.

Nice hotel, great location. However:
- resort fee? For what? This isn't Vegas, I hope the other hotels don't fall into this crap
- front desk staff were a bit gruff, no clue why, wasn't very busy
- they try to sell you the breakfast at check-in - what they don't tell you is that in the morning there is a long wait to even be seated. Glad I didn't fall for that.

Very disappointed breakfast was not included in hotel price as it is at the other RIU down the street.

I very good hotel in the heart of Manhattan. Clean and nice rooms.

I left my room at 8:25. It took more than 10 min to catch an elevator. The line at the lobby for breakfast was 30 min. Then another 5 min to get seated.
This hotel seems to be frequently used by travel agencies for organized travel.
If you are traveling solo or with your family, I'd avoid this place. Better options nearby for a similar price.

The hotel is great, other than Breakfast which was extremely crowed (both days). It took an average of 20 minutes to be seated, and the food was quite ebasic

Wonderful stay during our trip to NY. The room was very clean and quiet from the noise out in the streets, even though it is located right by Times Square. However, you can’t completely block out other guests slamming their room doors late at night (people, be more considerate of others geez). Otherwise, the staffs were super nice and the breakfast buffet was always a great way to start the day. There can be some wait if you arrive past 7:30, but the hotel has a very nice system to organize the lines and get everyone seated asap. Would definitely choose this hotel again in the future if we visit NY again!

Great hotel, new, steps from times square. Bed was comfortable and we had an amazing high floor view.

We stayed here last year prior to our cruise worked so well was an easy choice for this year's trip. The location is an easy access from the train station & then the pier the next day. We also like they have a livery service in the lobby makes the arrangements to the pier effortless.

The location was perfect. Close to many locations.

Was a connecting room, very thin walls could hear everything in room next-door

I loved the location. It is centrally located to everything I needed. The staffed was professional. They were helpful and empathic to our needs.
Staying here again and recommending to friend and peers that travel to NYC.

Hotel was great, check in was slow and the internet you could not log onto, in lobby there is not free internet. They kick you out of your room at 12 noon unless you pay money for the additional time.

There are two RIU hotels in Times Square, so make sure you double-check which one you booked... This one is the "Plaza" and it's on the "other side" of Broadway, but it's steps away from Times Square. For three people, this "deluxe" room was small but it's what we expect for NY hotels. The only downside was that in the morning, when *everyone* is going up and downstairs for breakfast and to start their days, one elevator appeared to be reserved for Club members (or was out of service), which led to very long waits. Will stay again if I can get a good deal

Nice hotel in great location in Broadway area. Bellhops were wonderful. Bug big gap under hallway door and thin walls made for noisy mornings when the cleaning crew arrived, and little sleep in the evenings when other guests went to their rooms. Front desk crew were prompt, but "cold" and not very informative about hotel details (I interacted with several of them, and they were all this way).

Riu Plaza Manhattan is One of the best hotels in the area. Very clean and silent. Great position in the heart of Times Square. Nice staff.

Perfect for what we wanted. Great central location, good breakfast, rooms were lovely and modern, very clean. Good service allowing bag storage and arrangement of transport back to the airport after check out as well. Pleasant lobby bar with good options and a very reasonable happy hour. Would absolutely recommend.

Great location - easy walking distance to a lot of locations. Rooms were clean and updated. Not a ton of space but that’s to be expected in NYC. Well maintained and had on site dinning options as well, the breakfast line can get a bit long but was manageable.

The staff was very kind, the rooms were very clean with great views just a little on the small in space (king deluxe room), I didn’t get the breakfast but the dining area looked nice and I appreciated they provided an area for luggage until 10pm after check out if needed! Really great is right next to Red Staircase next to Times Square!

Everything great about the hotel, everything clean and organized, everything that we asked for the room was there in a few minutes, the only thing that we didn’t have in our room that would be even better is a little support to put the bigger luggage, but other than that, everything was great!

Unannounced fees for breakfast. Expedia sells it with breakfast option included, but then they both back out of it.
