Awesome hotel and in an awesome location: Hudson Yards!! Everything you need or want is within walking distance from this hotel including Whole Foods as block away. And the staff are so friendly and helpfull, too.

We had to ask for toothpaste and extra pillows twice. The pillows and bed were not comfortable at all, but they were clean. I’d called the front desk to remind them about the extra amenities requested, because they hadn’t come after an hour, and nobody answered the phone. A second attempt was made an hour later, and someone did answer, but it also took a while to get our items. All in all my stay itself wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great. Guest service could absolutely use some work, the beds and pillows could use some upgrades, but the staff was very polite.

What a great place to stay. Clean, nicely updated/decorated hotel with friendly staff. I came for a night with my daughter and while I know they can’t always accommodate this, allowed us to check in early (I had only intended to see if they could hold our bags until check-in!). Great location with easy access to so much in the city.

This is a great location. Close to Hudson Yards, The Vessel, The Edge, Macys on 34th St, Penn Station and the subway. Out of the craziness but close enough for a 15-20 minutes walk to a lot of things. Staff was super nice and helpful. They keep your luggage for you until check in and until your flight. Great area to wait for car service or until your flight on the lower level.

Well, it started not a very good note at the check in. However the complain was handled very well and our room changed to the one I reserved. The rooms are small and claim to be sound proof which they are not. We were on the 28th floor (room with a view). It was noisy some machines on the roof top constantly whirring, making it difficult to have a quiet experience in the room. A big shout out to Aditya, front office manager he helped us very quickly and was very kind. Overall I would rate the experience satisfactory.

We booked on Expedia and received a confirmation that the check in starts at 3pm But once we arrived we found out that it is at 4 pm The hotel definitely needs to change that on Expwdia website

Fantastic location. In the heart of Hudson Yards, the most exciting zip code In Manhattan. Noreen clean room. Friendly staffs. Aditya at the front desk is a gem. Hard working , went out of his way to assist guests . He truly embodies Marriott ‘s brand values.

I was really disappointed that the fitness center was closed for maintenance although it wasn't mentioned when I booked online nor when I did the check in ... what made this even worse is the hotel didn't even let me use any other Marriott fitness center and didn't provide access to a third party gym.

I had booked this hotel because of the gym so disappointed to find it out of use. Also almost a total lack of environmental or sustainable practices - even very small points, eg soap was replaced even though had barely used and was happy to continue using same bar, towels replaced even though hung up ready to be reused. Bigger point was insufficiently warm bed clothes - only a very thin cover, so while i didn’t want to have heating on i was unnecessarily cold in bed and had to wear a jumper. The weather was not particularly cold. Easily fixed by having proper bedclothes.

We stayed two nights during a family trip to see the city. This conveniently located hotel is an 8 minute walk from Penn Station. The room had comfortable beds, a fresh look and an impeccably clean bathroom. We found the front desk staff to be friendly and helpful during check in. Hope to stay here again next overnight visit to NYC.
