About this lodge
Welcome to the Lodge! Kick up your feet, quiet your mind, and grab your favorite beverage with family and friends. You’re home in Iowa. The Lodge’s sprawling floor plan offers incredible two-story vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace, kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters, large (NEW!) deck, private screened porch, wine bar, and a laundry room with washer and dryer. Four of the five bedrooms are king suites with a full bath, whirlpool tub, and kitchenette. Additionally, the Lodge is handicap accessible and outfitted with a ramp at the front entrance, an elevator that goes between all floors (please notify Owner if you’ll require use of the elevator), and a lower level King suite with an accessible shower and restroom. Other great features include 2 dedicated workspaces complete with fiber optic WiFi and Roku TVs in every room. The Main Level entrance takes you through a laundry and mud room to the kitchen which opens to the towering Grand Room. Also on the main level is the sunroom with a trickling indoor pond (on a timer) for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The Main Level Queen bedroom has a full closet, TV, and private, screened balcony. Lastly, a restroom is across from the Queen bedroom as well as an office which includes a desk, extra monitor, and printer. The 2nd Main Level entrance wraps around the backside of the Lodge for privacy. Upon entering, you’ll walk into a sitting area and see a half-bath opposite the stairs that lead to the Upper Level King Suites. The King suites are identical and include a kitchenette (mini refrigerator, microwave, sink, and cabinets), closet, sitting area, and full bathroom with a stand-up shower and jacuzzi tub. Additionally, one of the King Suites has a full crib and rocking chair for your little one. Between the rooms is an open landing with a twin bunkbed, desk and couch for you to relax while you catch up on emails or read. The Lower Level opens to a full bar stocked with glassware, a wine refrigerator, and a mini refrigerator. Between the 2 King Suites, unwind on the huge sectional to watch your favorite sports game or play foosball on a Tornado Classic Table. Both of the Lower Level King Suites have kitchenettes, sitting areas, and full bathrooms with stand-up showers and jacuzzi tubs. Also, both have private walk-outs to the patio. Note one of the Lower Level King Suites is handicapped accessible. Outside the Main Level you may access the new composite deck that overlooks the property. Deer are near in the early morning hours and see what birds you can identify while sipping coffee! Our favorites are humming birds, cardinals, and finches.

We loved our stay. The house is amazing!

We had a great time at this cabin. The inside was very nice and clean.
The only negatives were, with the ac running the basement rooms were cold and the upstairs was quite warm, and the outside was somewhat overgrown/weedy.

The lodge was the perfect size for our group of 10. The location is remote but we loved it as it was a relaxing space after our outings that included golf, hiking and sightseeing. The owner Megan answered a couple questions promptly. We had an excellent vacation at an excellent property!

This house was PERFECT for our girls getaway. The rooms were so spacious and the 6 bathrooms were so ideal!
The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed! Megan was a very responsive host! Would definitely recommend!

Such a beautifully crafted home with a lot of room for several families to enjoy, while having their own personal space.

Beautiful cabin! We stayed with my large family for a long weekend. Check in was simple, and the local property manager was great to work with when a minor issue popped up. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. We had a very comfortable stay and hope to come back again!

We had a lovely stay at the Durango Lodge. It's a beautiful home - so well appointed and designed! Very clean, kitchen well stocked. Standard sizes of hand soaps, plenty of towels, etc. Any questions are promptly addressed by the owner who is friendly and professional. This was the perfect setting for our friend reunion since each couple/family had a great space as well as lovely communal spaces. This is a high end house with a warm, inviting quality. Only complaint is that we kept finding more amazing activities (fishing, mountain biking, Nat'l Mississippi River Museum) in the area which means we will need to come back =)

We loved our stay at Durango Valley Lodge! It’s a great option for multiple families. It’s spacious and well-organized. The house is well stocked with anything you might need in the kitchen, a few things for younger kids, and outdoor games for all. Megan is very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. It’s a great spot for anyone visiting Field of Dreams!

This was a beautiful home that was perfect for our group of 10. We were in the area for a baseball tournament in Dyersville and the location was great. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!

Our family loved this dream holiday getaway. The modern cabin mansion is off the rails as far as location, design, and all of the comforts of home. We will be returning again next year. Thank you Megan !

The lodge was perfect for our entire family that included an infant and kiddos up to 11. The beds were comfy and the private bathrooms were luxurious and such a bonus. The kitchen had all of the gadgets we need to feed our crew and so much space to have fun. We will try and book here every time in the area.

We had family from Nebraska and Wisconsin meet up in this beautiful home for a fun family weekend! I was blown away at how beautiful and thoughtfully decorated the house was. It was perfect down to every detail, from the very well stocked kitchen (we had everything we needed and more) to the great books and games! The house is huge and even more beautiful in person. There is plenty of room for quiet conversations and louder activity to be going on at the same time. The property and surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous and downtown Dubuque did not disappoint. The hosts were quick to answer questions and very gracious. We loved our time here and definitely want to meet up with family and friends here in the future!

Without a doubt, this is one of the best properties we've ever rented. The house and interior decor were fabulous. It's definitely in the country, which we loved, but at the same time extremely close to Dubuque, Galena, etc. for activities and dining. The host was very helpful and communicative and even provided s'more fixins' for our evenings around the fire. Thank you for such a wonderful place.

The entire experience was excellent from booking through check out. The owner responded to every question I had and went above and beyond when one of our party could not find their laptop and she sent someone to the house to look for it. The accommodations were exactly as stated and the kitchen was equipped for all our needs. I would highly recommend this property.
Thank you Megan and Mike!
