Exceptional

Great location! Walking distance to Fira, Exo Gialos beach, and close to the airport. Close to a bus stop, bakeries, cafes, restaurants and grocery store. Clean and affordable. Friendly staff and I was able to have a balcony room like I had hoped. Lovely pool and patio area. Karterados has a beautiful windmill, blue dome and a red domed church and gorgeous sunsets!

lovely room and pool. very clean. very helpful staff. had breakfast one morning which was good for 10 euro. good sunbeds with padding and free use of towels

our terrace was shady - ground floor but had a nice pool view obstructed by greenery which kept it private

Good economical option

Pension George was an economical option (I took the most basic room). It was very clean and the staff were very helpful and nice. Good free wifi. Katerados bus stop, is about 6 minutes walk enables you to go most places. Only for Oia, you’ll need to get the bus in Fira (20 min walk).

My bathroom was a bit of a sad place (I think better rooms have nicer ones) but it was perfectly clean. Breakfast was 10€/person. The walk to Fira is 20 minutes, it’s a little unsafe at times.

Exceptional

Very nice and helpful staff. Cozy common area with swimming pool to rest for a bit. Clean room, comfortable bed. Perfect location for us because is not in the middle of the most touristic areas, it is calmer which we love. Also great because it's in the middle of the island wchihc makes it easier to go everywhere. You can move around the island by bus, taxi, renting a quad, car, scooter.

Best of the best hotels. Beats everything! Very highly recommended.

Everything.. especially the host! So so so so helpful. Everything was arranged for us. If there ever was a hotel that should set example of hospitality, then this place is it. Very sweet and helpful staff - Katrina - i think her name was.

Great.

This people are awsome, place is great,everything is shining from cleanes.Room was very clean, comfort, bed is very cousy so you can rest after 20km of walking at Thira or Oia.We have every recommendation for Pension George.

Great place to stay would recommend

Great place to stay, lovely rooms, nice pool area and brilliant hosts. Only a short walk into Fira if you wanted to, there are good restaurants in the village. Pension George has some nice little extras, pool/beach towels, sun cream and after sun. Rooms cleaned every day too. Would definitely stay again.

welcoming and relaxing

we had the 4 bed family room with a mezzanine. it was very spacious and clean. the shared outside space and pool was a lovely place to sit and relax after the bustle of santorini. pool towels are a nice touch. staff are very welcoming and always there to help. local village has a few bakeries and restaurants. we had a nice meal at Katerina’s.

A bit of a walk to the local bus stop but we managed fine with two kids. often walked to Thira in about 15 mins.

Great host

Stavi was super nice and helped us as much as she could. The last day we had our flight at night and during the day, although we had already checked out, we used the swimming pool and took a shower. All staff is great.

Stunning accommodation- a home from home

Location was excellent, room was cute with a split level and lovely balcony, pool and outside area is stunning. And staff were helpful and couldn’t fault them

One teeny little thing, would be good to have hooks in bathroom to hang your towels

A nice play to stay just outside Fira with a lovely pool, very peaceful.

Good location a close walk to Fira, really nice pool area to chill out, staff were super attentive and helpful. Great price for Santorini.

The bed was not the most comfortable.

Enjoyed very much!

All the warmest words I would like to say are already written by others.)) I have not too much to add because all of them are true. Everything was perfect! Very clean, friendly atmosphere, good Wi-Fi. The room was very nice, somebody could say it's modest, but there is everything you need.. Maybe during high season it is different, but I had no problem with parking. Vivi and Dimitris are so cute, friendly and helpful! We followed all their recommendations and it was an excellent experience! Thank you very much dears!

Really friendly people, okay location

Really friendly staff, everything was clean. It is a 20 minute walk to Fira, which is perfect. Wifi worked great. The bed could be better, but is still fine.

Very clean and organized place. The hosts were very pleasant. The location is good if you prefer to be in the surroundings of the main cities and visit all the island (otherwise we suggest say directly in the main cities which would be also more expensive).

We got upgraded to a really nice room with a balcony facing the pool. Cleanliness was impeccable; Pension George is located close to a supermarket and to a bus stop, which makes it convenient for getting supplies and visiting the island with public transportation (also handy for getting to/from the airport or harbour).

Amazing place! I loved it!

The staff were so friendly, and the pool was perfect. The garden were a tranquil oasis. The rooms were perfect and the bed was super-comfortable. Towels for the pool area are provided and the sun-loungers are decent sturdy ones. Top place. Only a 10 min walk to the bus-stop at the cross roads too.

A real gem when staying in Santorini either in transit or for longer

Clean and well decorated room with a balcony overlooking a shaded garden area and pool. Very comfortable sun loungers. A warm welcome and very helpful husband and wife team who answered our questions well with detailed information Breakfast was ordered in and arrived in a lovely hamper which we ate under the trees. Lovely setting

Exceptional

Pension George is a great place to stay in Santorini. Located in a village away from the more touristy parts of Santorini it gives more a local vibe. Vivi and Dimitris are very friendly, going above and beyond to help us organise things. The building is beautiful, quiet, and has a perfectly maintained swimming pool area. Everything is spot clean. Highly recommended!
