Stayed with 6 couples. Property is awesome. Spent most of our days hanging outside in the heated pool and hot tub also fishing off the dock. Would definitely recommend this property.

From 90 years old to 8 months old we celebrated 4 birthdays and the house was perfect to have the entire family stay there. We used every bit of space and it was exactly like the pictures showed on-line. I would recommend it for a large family. Don’t let all the stairs scare you……we can all use the exercise after a week of eating and drinking.

This property was exactly the way the pictures showed. Beach was a short walk down the block and stores and restaurants were a short drive away. The house and property were beautiful and a perfect place for our large family. We really enjoyed hanging out in the pool and using the outdoor amenities. Would definitely recommend this property and will stay again. Great house and location.

The home was perfect for our large family vacation. The kids loved the pool and we loved the dock for fishing. House was beautiful and well furnished. Having the in law suite in the bottom was perfect for our elderly parents.

The accommodations were perfect for the WHOLE family!!
The canal out back really left a lot to be desired however, they really need to try and get that cleaned out, it ruins the ambiance of the Back yard)O: And just watch those steps if it rains....they are SLIPPERY, had one go down and had to call EMT's. He is fine and Vacation Was wonderful. Those are the only two things I would try and have canal cleaned up a bit and warn renters of stairs so no one gets really hurt. Booking this property 16 months in advance built up a lot of expectations. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. We had 14 adults enjoy all the amenities from our morning coffee at sunrise until we crashed at night. Everything you see in the pics is as described. The surrounding community offers all that is needed for a weeks stay. So plan your vacation with ease - this property is the real deal.

This house was absolutely amazing! It was a perfect vacation for a large group of adults. Everyone had their own space! The outdoor area was absolutely perfect! It didn’t matter if it was rain or shine, we could be outside! I highly recommend this home and will be saving it for future stays

The outdoor space is so lovely for entertaining a large group! We had a group of 14 adults and had more room than needed! The outdoor kitchen area by the pool was perfect for entertaining! The view was very pretty! The home is beautiful and immaculate!

We absolutely loved staying here! This was our 4th time in Marathon and we had such an awesome time. This home was absolutely beautiful, along with all of the property surrounding the house. We were within 3-5 minutes of a grocery store, parasailing, jet skiing and tons of restaurants. And just a couple blocks from the beach!
The owners were incredibly kind and we hope to be back someday soon!

This property met all of our expectations. We came here to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren. The pool was used daily as well as the hot tub. There were manatees off the dock, fishing was done as well. We also took advantage of the kayaks. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay. It would have been nice to have a fewItems for cooking such as salt pepper cooking oil. They do have huge pots so we were able to have a crab boil. we had a wonderful time And the weather was good for the week we were there

This place was perfect for everybody to have their own privacy and the back area was like a private resort with a pool and outdoor bar and kitchen. We made frozen drinks , had ours boats docked right out back and it was perfect. We cooked at night but we also were close enough that we could eat out when we wanted too. The grocery store is literally at the end of the street and is so convenient.

Let me start by saying that this is the second time that we stay in this amazing property and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Marathon! Both experiences have been perfect, from the check in moment, the host answers the phone all the time if you have any questions or needs. The house is extremely clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable rooms with their own bathroom, ocean view from the top floors, the in laws apt is perfect as well and very spacious. We stayed with the whole family of 16 people including the kids and perfectly accommodated it in sofa beds. We had so much fun in the pool, it is very tropical, with palm trees, just the jacuzzi alone fits enough people, pool has shallow play area for the smaller kids, big umbrellas can be used for shade, whole outdoor kitchen is a plus, especially if you are a big group. The sombrero beach is walking distance. We brought our 35 foot boat, and the dock its so big it could accommodate another one. They have canoes that we could use, and we saw manatees, which was a beautiful experience! Whenever I go back to Marathon I will be staying here again with my family, no doubt.

The house was great, lots of space for everyone and the outdoor kitchen and pool area were perfect for our large family. Between the outdoor and upstairs kitchen, we found everything that we needed to cook meals on the couple of nights we decided to do so. The place was clean and the bedrooms and bathrooms well supplied with towels and basic supplies.
One thing to mention is that the canal behind the house is brackish stagnant water with no flow of water in and out with the tide. We had hoped to fish off the dock and this was not possible. The canal is brown, muddy water with no sign of life. It is a quick 5-minute kayak ride to the clear beautiful blue water which the Keys are known for.

If you are looking for a place to relax with your family in Florida keys this rental is perfect. My family and I rented this house during lobster season 2022 and we absolutely loved it. We have stayed at Hawks Cay Resort several times in the past but wanted to try something more private. I highly recommend this vacation rental for several reasons. The location is incredible and provides breath taking views. The house itself is absolutely spectacular, provides a great layout, and is very clean. The pictures do not do this house justice. The inside is so beautiful and spacious. The 3 kitchens are fully stocked. The outdoor area is very relaxing. My family loved the saltwater pool and the outside bar area. Furthermore, it is conveniently located near Sombrero Beach, good fishing/ lobstering spots, Sombrero lighthouse, and Publix. The rental provides everything you need to have an amazing vacation and is kid friendly. The channel leading to the rental is a little tricky so make sure you pay attention to the markers (markers are not super noticeable). The host was really accommodating and pleasant to work with. My family had an incredible vacation and I can’t wait to rent this home again!

The home was absolutely spectacular. We had several couples and with kids and the house was very comfortable for the large group. Plenty of room to spread out. The balconies were huge with great views. Pool area was great for entertaining.
Very clean and modern. The upstairs suites where very roomy and luxurious.
The canal had lots of sea weed but nothing you can do about that.

The perfect retreat for our 3 generation family of 6 adults and 4 kids. The outdoor living space is incredible; so much so that we didn't adventure out much! Would have liked to have more than 1 kitchen towel, but we made do. Would definitely return here again!

And the workers didn’t work of course on Saturday and Sunday so when Monday came around and there was a lot of noise, I emailed the property manager! She called the owner of the home under construction and he said after 2:00 PM it should be quieter! The noise continued until 7:00 PM…they were digging the pool.
It got quieter than Monday but it was still annoying because we planned on relaxing and enjoying each other since we hadn’t been together since Covid hit!
The answer from the property manager was, “ It wasn’t under construction when you rented the house and and we can’t control what happens next store!
Bottom line is the property had everything that we needed and more and it was new etc. “Beware” ! If you want a relaxing time with your group, wait until next year to rent this property!!!!

5 couples stayed for one week and had the time of our life! House was incredible. Inside was very clean, updated and spacious. Outside was awesome…….great pool, awesome bar area and the views were breathtaking! Highly recommend the house!

What a place!! This house is so impressive. Our group enjoyed every bit of the house. From the spaciousness to the layout of the outside, the dock, the view, literally everything was perfect. We rented two boats which fit with more than enough room on the dock. Nature though had other plans for boating with the wind so hanging poolside became our option for 2 days. We didn't even care the boats sat unused because we swam and hung out in our own perfect resort. The view from ground level to the top floor were all incredible. All 3 kitchens were stocked beyond with pots, pans, etc. This place is truly amazing!!

The house and views are amazing. I wanted to stay longer. I only wish we had rented a boat like we talked about. I gave it 5 stars because even with the small annoyances it was so AWESOME! The pool heat pump did not work well, so we did not really have any swim time because the water was too cool to get into. There is a house being built right next door and during our three pool days, we were battling a very loud skid loader running rock and dirt back and forth all day. Could not carry on a decent conversation without yelling and could not hear our music. But when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.......does no good to complain. We stayed by the pool anyway, just being grateful that we were in a warm paradise and not in the frigid temperatures of Michigan. This home has EVERYTHING you need and MORE! I want to go back, and probably will!

This large home was as beautiful as the photos promised. The pool area and the large dining area were used a lot by our family. Communication with the host was spotty although there was a prompt response when the dishwasher stopped working. We'll definitely go back next time we are in the Keys.

Beautifully decorated home! We were very impressed with every room! So much space for a group, always plenty of privacy when needed and lots of seating / gathering areas too. The pool and outdoor kitchen was just perfect! The sunrises were just spectacular! Watching a group of Manatees come into our dock was a bonus we all loved!

First off, I am reluctant to write such a review as it will do nothing but make it more difficult for me to book this house. It was absolutely perfect. Starting with the very moment you enter the home, no matter what door you choose, the decor, feeling, and stress lifting enlightenment enter you. The home is spacious, well thought out, appointed beautifully, and simply remarkable. We had the pleasure of staying here for two weeks and hosted a wedding party as well. The two kitchens, and cooking space had the best equipment to make a real chef feel at home, and the pool was a sure fire way to escape the heat of the day and soak away the fatigue of our offshore fishing excursions. The dock and fish cleaning area are perfect for two boats. There aren’t enough words to describe the kindness of the owners and representatives of the rental and we feel we found a true gem in the keys. If you are reading this and the time you want to book is available, forget about the cost, push the button, and prepare to be impressed! If you don’t, I may be the one to take your week.

Pictures dont do justice! This property far exceeded our expectations. Plenty of amenities, VERY clean, and 100% responsive property manager. Some valuable rings were left behind and the owners reached out to the cleaning crew who found them, mailed them back and proactively maintained contact until they were delivered. Great experience all around- highly recommend. We’ll be going back!

Words nor pictures can do this property justice! It was spacious enough for 14 people to be very comfortable and not on top of each other. The dock is big enough for multiple boats. All 3 kitchens are fully stocked with anything you might need. The saltwater pool is the perfect temperature for swimming day or night. The outdoor space is awesome and has such a chill island vibe.. Plus the decor and finishing touches on this home are outstanding! We will be back.
