We stayed from may 7 2024 to may 10. Our stay was excellent, the room was very clean and aesthetically pleasing, AC worked perfectly which was one of our concerns from reading other review. The hotel is walking distance from a lot of things, Bourbon St. around 7-10 min walk, Harrahs casino 5min walk, The river around 10-12 minutes. Only kind of downside is our room didn't have windows, but it wasn't that bad because we were able to sleep really good. Check in was fast and easy. We would definitely come back. Room 302 .

Always enjoy staying here! Unique boutique design, clean, comfortable beds, quiet.

Great location. Room was large and roomy. Bathroom was newly renovated and over all very nice large room. My room was quiet and over all a great stay.

There were so many little things that we loved starting from check in. The front desk and reception will remind you of a speak easy, right down to the bottles of bourbon and gin lined neatly on shelves behind the front desk, to the sweetest little room for two located directly behind the front desk. Nope! No happy hour, this hotel is simple, beautifully appointed and located in a great spot for those who want to stroll the Waterfront, head to the Paddlewheel for excursions, go to the Casinos, head down Canal Street or head to Bourbon Street to walk it from end to end. Also offers easy access to the museums, parks and Cafè du Monde and the French Market were an easy walk. Attached (outside) is the the Ruby Slipper...top on our list for breakfast! A "not to miss brunch eatery", hurry though, they close at 2pm. If you are taking a friend or loved one for the first time, this lovely hotel find is one block off Canal Street and seemed like the perfect fit for everywhere we wanted to take in.

The shower didn’t have a door on it. Water would go all over the floor.

Very convenient location! Comfortable beds and pillows. Very quiet! Would have liked to have seen more of the hotel since it's historic, or some pictures and history posted in the lobby. Would stay here again.

The rooms are very spacious. They have high ceilings which helped a lot with making the room feel bigger. The staff is nice but always look miserable. The lobby is TINY and there is so bar or real place to chill at while you wait for an Uber. There is ONE lobby restroom. The room was pretty clean but I definitely found trash in the bed. The water pressure in the shower sucked but for a hotel room it was all fine. The shampoo, conditioner, and soap were good brands though so that was cool. The area around the hotel was shady. There’s like an alley next to it where the crazies go at night. The restaurant next the hotel “Ruby Slipper” was trash. The hotel was very close to main tourist attractions though, that was cool. Over all 7.5/10.

Old New Orleans charm. Very classy. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the decor was unique.

Location was great. The only complaint I might have is the parking. Facility itself was very nice.

Love this beautiful old hotel!

I got in late and was only there for one night. The room was just right and uniquely appointed. It seemed a little art deco to me. The desk staff was cheerful and helpful, both late at night and the next morning. Would definitely stay again.

Impromptu stay for just a night. One queen bed and no window which was fine. Only issue was that when the fan/heater turned on, it blew straight down onto the headboard area. Other than that, we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay. Great location and very walkable to stores and restaurants. Hotel staff was very helpful and the room was reasonably priced. The street noise was really loud in our room and we would request a room away from the street if possible if we were to stay here again.

This is a nice small hotel with very attentive staff.

Property was nice. No really services, but a clean room. Entrance at night is a side street. Not well lit for safety.

The parking options are limited and over priced. I ended up paying $67/day $60 erroneous double parked charge. A boot was put on my vehicle. So total I am out of $194 just to park for 2 days.

Cute boutique hotel close to Bourbon Street and the Ruby Slipper Diner.

Great value and comfortable bed. It’s very close to the French Quarter and attached to The Ruby Slipper! Guests get early seating and can jump the line at the Ruby Slipper for an amazing breakfast! That is a great perk!

One of the best rooms I've ever had at any hotel. We chose and interior room with no windows. It was every dark at night, which is how we like to sleep, and we were able to get the room really cold. Will stay here again!

I reviewed about a dozen hotels before deciding on the Pelham. We wanted something close to the French Quarter but not affected by the noise. We also wanted a “nice” older style hotel.
Well the Pelham fulfilled on all those needs. The only downside was we arrived at almost midnight due a flight delay and they close the lobby at midnight. So there was a stress factor getting to the hotel at 1145pm.
The hotel has decor been remodeled because it looked great inside. I was very impressed with the room a the bed was super comfortable. We had some minor daily issues with the cable going in and out.
The staff is awesome! Very helpful and friendly. Then let’s talk about the hotel being connected to the Ruby Slipper breakfast/lunch restaurant. We are there twice is was so amazing. One block off Canal and 7 minute walk to the Quarter. No noise at night was blissful.

Night manager Arthur was cool . Traded food recommendations and he encouraged me to go out every night.
Green tea and breakfast tea with the Keurig was a nice touch and went well with stupendous leftovers from Criollo and Galatoires.
The cleaning staff was attentive and grabbed extra tea K cups for me. Nice attention to detail.

Loved the unique hotel. Rooms were large with high ceilings.

Excellent location right off Canal Street. Near the Casino and bourbon Street. Staff was very friendly and helpful. On the downside, need at least 1 more chair to sit on and perhaps a bench or 2nd luggage rack. A bit tough to make coffee as the coffee bar was dark. A little overhead lite would be helpful.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet area but close enough to walk to everything

I stayed at The Pelham in April 2021 and it’s been totally remodeled since then. The interior, design features and art and grooming amenities are excellent. The windows are noise proofed and it was very quiet. The front desk staff were helpful and courteous. I only have 2 observations on needed improvements: in the bathroom on one wall the brand new wallpaper is peeling off. It can be easily reglued and the shower head plate where the hardware meets the tile has popped off. There was a wine cooler type refrigerator in the coffee bar area that didn’t work and would have been too small to store anything in anyway. The maintenance staff brought us a mini frig immediately after we called. There is no light over the coffee bar nook and we had to use a flashlight to make our coffee. The location and value of this hotel is excellent though. I would definitely stay here again.

My stay at the Pelham Hotel was very nice. Small, but beautiful rooms. Friendly staff. No parking, but there is a Valet service (for an extra $60/night)🙄
Overall I had a good experience

I had a great time in New Orleans and all of the staff of The Pelham were so kind!

The toilet seat in the room was not thoroughly cleaned. The elevator cab had an electrical short causing the lights to flicker. Check out desk attendant was not friendly. Took the attendant over 30 minutes to retrieve my vehicle. Room itself was well furnished and stocked.

The hotel was super clean. Bed, bathroom and overall room was super clean. All the staff ( I mean everyone from reception, cleaning...etc) were amazing. Superb Southern hospitality. I dont have one bad comment for this hotel and its staff. I enjoyed my stay at the pelham and new orleans. The amazing people of New Orleans is what makes New Orleans what it is. I plan on staying at the Pelham next year.

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise! The decor is beautiful and our room had great style and super tall ceilings. All the employees were friendly and helpful and it was a great, quiet, cozy spot away from all the craziness of the louder areas, but totally walkable to everywhere. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

Always an amazing stay at The Pelham. Beautiful, quiet, boutique hotel with charm and beauty. Close to the French Quarters and other things to do.
