Room was supposed to have a couch and didn't, breakfast was definitely nothing worth waking up for.
1.0
Unfortunately, we never had the chance to stay. At check in we were told the room we booked with a couch wasn’t available because of renovations. We were told that a cot was available for us though. We accepted this change due to the circumstances and Essence (employee on shift and only positive experience) said she’d follow us up to the room and get us the cot immediately. While she was grabbing the cot, my wife went to use the bathroom and it was not clean. When Essence showed up to the room with the cot, I asked if housekeeping was available because the bathroom was dirty. She said she was the only one there, but she’d take care of it for us. She said she’d be back quickly with the disinfectants. As I opened the cot, it had dirt inside it and I wouldn’t even allow my dog to sleep on it, let alone my son. By the time she got back with the cleaning equipment, she could read the expression on our faces. We immediately asked for a refund and booked elsewhere. Again, Essence (the only employee there) was great. It’s too bad everything else was horrible.

Absolutely disgusting. There were bodily fluids in multiple places around my room. The front desk was unfriendly. Very gross and unacceptable.

Firstly, the staff that checked me in by the name of EVA was so rude and arrogant the way she responded to questions, and at some point she mentioned “I don’t have enough time I’m about to leave”
Just the fact that she was that rude made not to ever use such hotel.
The rooms were dirty, hall way smells bad, funnily she handed me a pack of two bottle of water and granola bars like when you’re not ready to deliver it.

HORRIBLE! It shows that it is pet friendly. I called 3 times to check that I had a pet friendly room. At the desk I was told that while the property itself is pet friendly all of the truly pet friendly rooms were already taken. I spent most of the night trying to get my cat out from under the bed. I was also charged a $100 “incidental” fee that would only be refunded after they inspected the room. Ashley at the desk in the morning was abrasive and seemed put out when I told her I wanted the $100 refunded. She said it would take 3-5 business days to remove from my card. That’s on top of the pet fee of $25 per pet! The building and rooms are gross and dirty. The entire building smells awful. The rooms are painted some kind of dark yellow. They are old and dirty. The tub was dirty. While walking down to checkout even one of the employees said the place was nasty. Avoid this place completely. It’s a rip off and a pit.

Got to hotel only to find I didn’t have a room, hotel.com was absolutely horrible and the hotel stated that they never received anything but hotel.com took the funds from my credit card

Expedia needs to do a better job at researching the properties they offer. This property is currently housing homeless families and individuals. It has serious deferred maintenance.
Anastasia, the general manager, was kind enough to give us a complete credit, as we checked out, the same day we checked in. We were being charged $305 per night. This hotel does not represent that type of value. Fortunately, we were able to find the Hyatt place around the corner for just $347 per night. A much better value.

Decent place to stay. Lots of available parking spots. Right off of I-95. Close to a mall and a few restaurants to eat at. Breakfast was muffins, porridge, and coffee. Staff was friendly and patient. This is a pet friendly and long-term residence. Full amenities in the room (full fridge, stove, sink). The is an aerobic center for cardio work outs. Didn't get a chance to see the outside pool. Room was in decent shape. The shower/tub was cracked on the bottom.

Our room smelled like cigarettes. Sofa bed mattress was stained with what looked like blood. The fixtures in the room was broken. No breakfast.

During my stay, the hotel was also housing people due to a homeless shelter emergency. Which its fine. However, I now had to wait for a room to be made available. Initially, i was told there are no rooms available due to that issue. When i had prepaid and prebooked my room. That was annoying. Also, throughout the night, there was a hammering and thumping sound coming from the room above mine. Then, they charged me for the room that i already paid for. It was reversed, but this should not have happened.

Everything was fine - except it still advertises breakfast but does not serve,

I can’t even say how our stay was because we couldn’t even get thru the check in without issues. Was greeted by a rather curt employee who spent more time telling us what we couldn’t do than what we could. We rented three rooms. Got in at 11:00 pm and after being told you absolutely COULD NOT smoke on the property when we got to the first room it smelled so bad of smoke we couldn’t even stay in it. We were told no other rooms available and asked if we wanted a refund. Well since there were six of us that wasn’t very helpful. Quickly booked a room at the Hilton Providence and got out. Definitely will not plan to stay at an Extended Stay America any time soon!

Sasha was very pleasant and went out of her way to help me. You just don’t see good service like that much anymore. Thank you!

There was some food left from previous resident. The floors were sticky. It was an ordeal to obtain basic kitchen items and extra bed linens.

Room was outdated and run down. Flooring had large humps in it which made it difficult to navigate with my walker. Neighbors were extremely loud to late hours of evening. Would have expected more for the price.

I didn’t like nothing about this hotel I checked in and checked out two hours later because of the disgustingness of this hotel I couldn’t bear spending the night or sleeping on a bedThey’re the people in the hotel And just the dirtiness of the hotel

It was ok for what I needed on such short notice.

When I reserved the room, the website showed a small studio space as what we would get. That was NOT what we ended up with. The room was okay, we dealt with it, but there wasn't even any basic amenities like cups or ice bucket. The pocket door to the bathroom was a bit awkward; my son and I had to team up to get it out of the wall. I understand this is an extended stay hotel, but I think having people grill out of the back of their truck (in the very front of the building) and then create a makeshift firepit out near the dumpster while being loud into the early morning hours was a bit off-putting. Overall, I probably wouldn't pick this hotel chain again, but at least everything was clean. We did like the full fridge in the room though.

Our room smelled like curry, and felt very poorly ventilated. The walls are paper thin as we got woken up at 4 a.m. in the morning when our neighbor was sitting on the couch by the wall to our bedroom, and spoke in EXPLICIT detail about his sex life to several friends on the phone, for about 3 hours.

It was a convenient location to the RI points of interest
We were very upset my the loud noise in some room(s) til 11pm and then 2am til past 3am Fri nite Sep 3rd. We complained the next morning at the front desk. NOthing was done other than to apoligize

There was an unpleasant smell throughout the hotel. The room smelled and didn’t have the best lighting. The room had plenty of space for two of us and the kitchen setup worked well. The fitness center is a treadmill and an elliptical shoved into a small room. Would not stay again unless there were no other options.

The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only downside was that there were no utensils in the room, and you had to go and get them from the front desk, and it was quite a handful for two people. In previous stays at Extended Stay, the room was already stocked. I prefer it that way, it was easier, and maybe you only had to pick up one or two missing items.
Still, it was a very pleasant stay.

Was not happy when receptionist said they hold a hundred dollars hold on cards very disappointed never had that happen before. It didn’t give me the heads up when I booked the room through hotels.com. My concern is now what would’ve happened if I didn’t have that Extra one hundred Dollars available. I will not be booking with extended stay anymore

I lost my license in was waiting for a replacement. This was the only place that did not give me a problem at check-in. Staff is very friendly and courteous and helpful. Always give me what I needed in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again.

My check in was easy, I booked on line np. Apon arrival i noticed, grease was on the cabnets in the kitchen cabinets. (During a pandemic, cleanliness is mandatory)
. I call the front desk at 12 midnight asked for a wake up call.
No, wake up call, in turn made me 1 hour late for the whole day. Front desk informed me that the night worker did nit leave a note for a wake up call to my room.
Next, i found a filthy face cloth under the sink in the bathroom. ( that i gave to the front desk upon checkout).
Check out as noon, and realize 8 hours later unfortunately left thingsin the closet.
1- my fliece jacket( from my mom that passed away)
2- my new long stripped sweater that goes to my knees.
3- long grey scarf.
Call the hotel they check... no, item left. I leave my # and they will ask hotel house keeping in the am and will call me.
I never get a call,So, I go to the hotel front desk checks with house keeping. While 3 days i try to talk to a manager. NEVER AVAILABLE.
needless to say, I never heard anything from anyone.
