The location of the hotel was great! The hotel lobby was beautiful & perfect for pictures! Our room was good, except the air condition and the mildew smell. Nothing air freshener couldn't fix! But overall, I enjoyed my stay!

It sits on Canal St with Bourbon being on the side. We never got clean towels our last day. The tvs are out dated and not smart.

Only one person checking in wait was long then later another person came. Besides that it was cool. Also when returning to the hotel security outside was weirdly aggressive when asking for our key card. I had no idea what he was referring to at first being we walked in and out several times prior

No housekeeping no view view was a partial torn down building small room bathrooms need updating

The location was perfect. The room was clean, but had someone’s hair tie left in the shower. There were empty shooter bottles in the entry the next morning.

The pool was supposed to be closed at 9pm... a group of loud guests were apparently allowed to stay and party by the pool until 3am despite several complaints from those trying to sleep. We were given another room for the next night and the bathroom didn't have a shower curtain or drain stop. We had to call 4 times to ask for one. It was totally unprofessional.

Awful. Noise unbearable. Staff unresponsive

The location is amazing. The hotel is very clean and nice and well secured.

Room was fine but hotel is worn looking and service was poor. It seems like they have given up.

Unfortunately, the day before I was flying there for a 50th birthday celebration, I had an unexpected death in the family. I had hoped to be able to stay here when I can reschedule the trip but being charged a large rate for cancelling due to family emergency has changed my mind about making my make up reservation at this hotel. Thanks to my Expedia customer service rep for trying to get the full refund for my paid up front stay although manager would not comply. I cannot rate my stay as my stay was charged but I was not there to enjoy it. I do hope someone received a free night this past weekend since there was an extra night paid by a very sad, would be guest.

The property is mismanaged. The rooms were smelling of mold and we're missing essentials like body wash, towels and had to call repeatedly to get them. There were coffee cups, sugar, coffee .. but no coffee machine. In a friend's room, the coffee machine was there but the rest of the stuff was missing. We went to the JW Marriott and their rooms were amazing. Might want to stay away from this property!

Everyone at the Crown had an amazing vibe. Every employee I encountered was knowledgeable about their job and able to answer my questions. When the restaurant was closed for a prepaid breakfast, the staff was able to refund my money without complication, with an apology and explanation even though it wasn't their fault, and with a smile. I would stay here agin!

Front Desk: Rayon and the other woman with beautiful locs- AMAZING
Hotel: Looked Aged…Restaurant was set far back and dark. Thankfully there’s been an improvement with not allowing the drug addicts to stand in front of the hotel anymore.
Room: Bathroom was dirty- tub corners not properly cleaned. Entire carpet in the room was soiled, coffee machine had mold inside of it, charging station for the phone did not work, thin blankets in a cold room made it uncomfortable to sleep but the Pillows were soft which I liked.

we could smell cigarette smoke the last few days, apparently coming through the vents. the bathrooms could use more towel hooks. The toilet is much lower than typical and not comfortable. those are the only problems I can think of. friendly staff, convenient location, comfortable rooms.

Great comfort, close to everything we wanted to be close to and staff was great!

Within less than 24 hours of checking in, we had to switch rooms several times and finally ended up in our third room late that evening. The first room they assigned us seemed as if either the person hadn’t checked out yet or the cleaning company came in to clean it prior to them leaving and someone had went back in and showered, etc. There were dirty towels hanging up in the bathroom stuff was in the garbage can and the soaps were left on the counter opened. The only thing straightened in the room was the bed and those had stains on the sheets. The second room we were in had a leak by the AC unit that had our carpet completely soaked and we didn’t notice until we walked past and our socks kept getting wet . The final room that we received was extremely dusty, unkept and just really poor conditions. I understand that things may not be as up-to-date with trying to preserve the history of locations, however simply running a duster across some of the furniture, including the pictures on the wall makes a huge difference. The carpet was extremely stained, and so were the curtains that were hanging by the windows. So much so that I didn’t even want to touch them to open them. Because we didn’t want to switch rooms again, we just dealt with it. They also gave us a room without refrigerator so we lost a lot of food we saved with the last move because it took them over a day to bring in one that I requested. Location of hotel was great for bourbon st. and being close to everything.

The hotel was nice and clean. Smelled clean. Kept up very nice. Rooms were clean and kept up well. It was close to everything. Would recommend to anyone.

This was our 3rd time staying here. And we keep coming back for a reason, cleanliness, convenience. Definitely our spot when we in New Orelans.

Front desk staff was friendly. It was a very busy hotel. Groups of young college kids in for different events. Walls were thin. Our neighbors certainly had a good time haha. The shortfall was housekeeping. The housekeeper took our floor mat, washcloths and hand towels during daily service and didn’t replace them.
Convenient location to everything. Might stay here again as long as I request a no connecting room next time

The staff was friendly, the service was impeccable. I understand the hotel is older which was fine. But the beds were terribly uncomfortable, lumpy, loud, uneven and squeaky it would wake you up just moving. Parking was a nightmare, after an hour they admitted they lost our keys. They did the best they could to make it right but for the price of this hotel it was a huge disappointment. I won’t ever stay there again.

The hotel was beautiful. The beds a little on the hard side and our room was missing a coffee pot. But everything else was perfect

Fabulous location and beautiful interior. Disappointed with the housekeeping service after paying $350 a night. Our room was not cleaned, asked at the front desk at noon before departing for the day, came back at 7 PM to end up having to clean my own room and ask again for towels and trash bags. It was handled well at the end of the evening. But disheartening to pay so much and clean my own room.

Nice hotel, beautiful lobby. First day there was a weekend and we were not able to take a hot or even warm shower. When I called to question it the employee didnt seem to be surprised and was rude with their answer. Also, we booked this hotel because it said it was adults only, no children and of course we saw children. Also, non of the house keepers spoke English. One knocked on our door. I informed them we were leaving in a couple of minutes and asked if they could come back. I got a nod. When we got back, nothing was done.

The room was in a poor state upon arrival. There was a sticky, red stain near the window, and it was obvious that the carpets hadn't been cleaned in a while. One of the beds had a fitted sheet that was too small for the mattress - only fully covered one side of the mattress, while only covering the pillow top on the other end. There was also no trash can in the main room, only the bathroom. The only saving grace was the location and the lovely staff. I will not be staying here again.

Not sure if it is just the location but there was not a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Some spots on the floor. However, customer service was excellent and perfect location to everything in the French Quarter. Make sure you check your receipts and listen carefully during check-in for charges and ask questions. We had a few issues with charges. They were resolved but could have been avoided if the staff communicated with each other. That was the only major issue I had. Otherwise, my stay went well.

Staff was very unfriendly, room was very small for the price, bed was meh. When I called down to ask for ice because the ice machine on my floor was not working the staff suggested I go find a machine that would work. Will not book here again.
The bell man was very friendly.

The room we paid $400 a night for was $200 a night if we would’ve just booked them at the Front desk. No complementary breakfast wish for ended up $53 for two small plates with eggs and bacon

I guess we were in the old part of the hotel which was a little creepy. The room was great. High ceilings comfortable beds. But we never received housekeeping. And the ice machine on the 3rd floor did not work. Overall the room was nice and clean. Perfect location.

The location is amazing and the front entrance is beautiful. HOWEVER, the entire hotel is disgusting and the rooms
need to be completely renovated.

We arrived about two hours early and they got us right into our rooms. The woman at the front desk was lovely. She was working alone and there was a pretty steady flow of people and she was absolutely delightful to everyone coming in. I am sorry that I didn't get her name to send in a compliment to her management team. I would say the only complaint about our rooms is that the bathrooms did not have any ventilation so the rooms were a bit musty smelling.

The room didn’t come with an actual blanket and the thermostat only had 2 temperatures, frigid cold or brutally hot. We called several time for several days for towels, blankets, toilet paper, trash bags etc. and didn’t receive. In our 4 day stay our was only cleaned once, if you’d even actually call it a cleaning.

Usually do not leave a negative comments. But this hotel I don’t think should call it high end or even 2 stars. U call reception, no answer. No soap, one garbage for 2 rooms, no water bottles, they don’t replace coffee cups when they clean, the comforter had a big hole. Mind you our suit cost us good $$$ for 5 days to book in this hotel.
At night you barely can sleep if your room on the bourbon street. Very loud, people randomly getting a bucket in the street and make it a drum till about 4 am. Bad service.

Disappointed with check in line. It took an extremely long time. The same was true when it came time to check out. Disorganized front desk and not super helpful. I would recommend the sonesta which was much nicer overall.

Great location! Valet parking is a plus, and is half the price if you book in advance at Hotels.com. We had some small room problems, i.e. safe didn't work, only 1 trash can for entire room, not enough towels for the amount of people booked. We got towels :-) And there is a strange noise coming from the a/c or vents at night. Overall, I would come back.

This was by far the worst experience in an IHG hotel due to the service.
I booked a high floor room - for which I paid premium. Upon arrival at midnight they had no high floor rooms and asked us to come back in the morning after room service (9am). The day after they said to wait for check out (11am) and then they said they had no high floor rooms. How does a hotel NOT know which room they’ll have the next day?? So not an ideal situation but the outraging part was that they refused to reimburse the difference. After negotiating for hours on the hotels.com chat and with the Frontdesk, being accused of lying (!!), I realized I was ruining my vacation with my family and just gave up. I am shocked that hotels.com lets a hotel just get away with such a scam.
