Very old hotel, expensive, not worth the price, toilet did not flush, rolling shades not working always closed, bed uncomfortable, I do not recommand this hotel, Hotel.com should revise its description of this establishment.

Highly recommend staying at the Hyatt House at Dania Pointe pre cruise! I felt like we got a whole extra vacation day staying here since it’s within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, music and entertainment at Dania Pointe. We traveled with our two young kids and the room was perfect with a pull out sofa for them and a kitchen. The pool was beautiful and an added bonus to enjoy our day pre cruise. We walked to Dania Pointe and enjoyed shops, restaurants and a fun splash pad for the kids. There was even live entertainment and music later in the day. TJMaxx was also walkable and a huge perk since we forgot several things for our cruise that we were able to grab before heading to the port. There is a complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel. There’s also a shuttle from the hotel to the port for $16 or so a person. There’s complimentary breakfast available in the morning until 930. I would absolutely recommend staying here with kids or just as a couple/solo traveler. The rooms are clean and the staff were all so wonderful, helpful and kind. Thanks Hyatt House for a clean, smooth and fun day 1 of our trip!

Great location lots of great food and entertainment within a short walking distance. Perfect spot to stay the night the day before or after your cruise. And with an easy free transportation to the airport.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice only a couple worn spots. We were disappointed that the restuarant was only serving pizza and wings the night of our arrival. But it was good. The breakfast area was lacking enough seating for guests. And the food was not so good. It was your usual hotel breakfast food just not done well. They were also having issues keeping it refilled.

The staff was not in uniform.They way they spoke to customers on the phone and in person was very uncomfortable and unprofessional, saddened at the way Hyatt brand was represented at this establishment.

Pool was not heated. If you’re going to Florida in winter you want to go in the pool. Because the pool area seemed to only get sun for a couple hours in the morning it will not get warm from the sun and needs a heater Room could be cleaner and the carpet definitely needed to be cleaned Elevator was unbelievably slow and made sketchy noises Room phone didn’t work and I asked for it to be fixed and it wasn’t Staff was nice The information sheet they give says light cleaning daily and sheets changed every 4 days, which is fine. But we had to ask for the light cleaning to be done.

Although I only stayed 1 night, it was great! If I ever visit the area again, I will definitely look at staying here again. When I tell you this place was spotless - I mean it! I have NEVER seen anyone scrubbing the metal floor piece in the main doorway with a TOOTHBRUSH! They are dedicated to cleanliness. Every area I went into was clean, bright, and smelled sooooo good! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Always greeted me with a smile and kindness. I didn't get to try the breakfast, but from the looks of it, the other guests really enjoyed it!

Great experience with the staff and really clean, modern rooms. Lots of shops and restaurants in the earea within walking distance as well. We were flying in and out early in the morning and the airport shuttles were punctual and extremely convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Highly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt House. Property was clean and area was safe and quiet. Lots to do within walking distance including shops, restaurants, cinema, bowling etc. Super easy to get a parking spot, even during the Christmas time period. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and approachable. Only issues we had was with the key cards not working and sofa sheets not being changed, but not a big deal for us. Would definitely stay here again.

No hot shower water in 210. When I tried the shower the water leaked out the door and covered the floor. The desk staff was helpful but could do nothing but inform maintenance of the problem. Showering at next stop.

Nice hotel. It was comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size but did need some attention to the condition. There was rust on the closet and the shower was starting to show signs of wear. Otherwise, it was clean and a reasonably priced option for close to the cruise port.

Would we stay at this hotel again, yes. It was clean and a great location. There is an iPad in the lobby where you can order a shuttle to take you to your cruise port, you have to pre pay when you use this iPad. We paid for 5 people to get the shuttle to the port. Our boarding time was 12:30, so we ordered to be picked up at noon. When we placed the order it told us to be ready in the lobby at 11:45. We were ready earlier than that. The shuttle service may have been telling the front desk they were running late, but no one communicated that to us. So at 12:15 we ordered an Uber, it picked us up at 12:17 and now the Ways Shuttle service will not refund us our money. If you want to get to your port during your actual boarding time, DO NOT USE THEIR SHUTTLE SERVICE, use a ride share srvice

I have stayed at this hotel for years and was pretty disappointed in this past stay. We drove in late in the evening and we were very tired. We were told to use the keys and enter at the back door and the keys worked once and then stopped. It was nothing we did, we went back four times to get keys re-made and they all stopped working after two times. The main elevator was not working for the entire time we were there. The breakfast was almost gone by the time we came down at 8:30 and no one was replenishing it. Not sure what is going on with this location but I think had they told us about the issue with the keys we would have been more understanding. After two failed attempts they told us they were aware of the issue.

Staff was very friendly. We had issues with the elevator and the next day the elevator was out of order. You could hear people in the other rooms. Room key and parking lot key (card) would not work had to go to the front desk for new room keys (card)
