We loved our stay in Casa Saphi, it exceeded our expectations, the room was cozy, clean and it had all the facilities: A/C, mini fridge, kettle to prepare your own tea without leaving the room.
The bathroom was well equipped and clean. Also, there's a fully equipped kitchen at disposal for all the guests. The breakfast was top, fresh and delicious. Location was good, surrounded by restaurants and stores just a few minutes walking from the plaza.
The girls that work there are the nicest and helpful, lovely people. We will definitely book it again in the future!

Location - 2 blocks from the Placa de las Armas - with no hills! was perfect for a tourist visit. It was extremely quiet. The room is small but very well equipped. Lots of hot water. Some heating for the evening. Good breakfast.
Essentially the same (charming) lady as does the morning checkin, also cleans the rooms, and makes the breakfast; so they really do need to know what time you'll arrive as the cafe is on the street and the rooms they rent are on the courtyard, and so once she has done breakfast, it is difficult to get hold of the manager unless you have a key! Its OK. Just on arrival be sure when you can get your bags again and when you can get into the room.

In two months of travel in South America this may be our favourite. The perfect place to base yourself in Cusco and were made to feel really comfortable. Comfy beds, super helpful staff and general nice place to be. Extended our stay multiple times

Wow, where do I start! From the moment when I met the staff who would do anything to help you, the awesome comfy room with heating, the location... It's just amazing that I decided to book another 3 nights.
Nothing. I couldn't fault it!

Very friendly personel.Always ready to help. They offered us an early check-in, which was priceless after a long journey. Breakfasts are abundant and tasty. A full equipped kitchen to one's disposal 24h. Strongly recommended..

Good location. Noisy street but you can’t hear the traffic.
we are a group of 3 and had booked 2 nights. Upon check-in, staff told us they had messed up and given our room to somebody else so they placed us in a different, better room, for the first night but we would need to move the following day. I offered to pay the difference to stay but was told that from was occupied the following night. I told the receptionist that we were getting picked up the following morning early to go to rainbow mountain but were coming back at 3pm and she said no problem. We left the hotel the following morning early, leaving clothes, toiletries, etc all around the room as the plan was to come back, repack, and move to the other room. I was already not happy about having to do that since that was their mistake.
When we came back at 3pm the following day, we found out they had gone into our room and had taken it upon themselves to pick our stuff up and moved us. We had left clothes, money, etc in the room since we were planning on coming over and moving ourselves. Had they said anything the day before, we would have left our stuff ready to go for them to move. The lack of respect to our privacy, without even an apology, is unforgettable. It ruined what could have been a good experience.

Gabi and Kati were wonderful hostesses. The room was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was simple and good. THe day I left early for Machu Picchu a backed breakfast was prepared for me.
The only problem was that the wifi connection basically didn't work

This was our third stay at Casa Saphi. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Kati made sure on every occasion that all our needs were met and that we had an enjoyable stay. We were picked up from the airport for a lower rate than we would have been charged ourselves and had taxis organised to go other places. We hope that the owners recognise what an asset Kati is to the place, as she was doing reception, breakfast and cleaning and still had time to make sure everything was good for us. The accommodation is in a pleasant old building away from the noise of the street. We appreciated having the facilities to make tea in the room. Breakfast was the best we have had in Peru and Kati gave us a takeaway breakfast when we had to leave very early. It was easy to walk to everywhere and it was handy having a launderette around the corner. We left our luggage while we did short trips to Machu Picchu and then Tambopata.
We were in the green room because we asked for a quiet room, which it was. The only minor criticism is that the double bed was a bit small.

the location
there’s no light in the room, and the bathroom was so small , even claustrofóbico

Without question, the staff and the location are amazing.
the room is rather run down (e.g., paint flaking off in large chunks, poor water pressure/hot water)
8.0
-comfortable bed & warm blankets
-toiletries provided
-hairdryer available
-the room was dark without a window and fresh air
-problems with hot water
-no ventilation in the bathroom, so it got quite humid & smelled like mold

Everything good, good location, the staff is very nice and the breakfast is good as well.
I had to leave one day to one tour at 5h am and they prepared me a breakfast to go.

Location. Heater and hot water
It really needs renovation. smell from the bathroom was awful. to open and close the room door you need to have some practice, if you arrived tired and with an altitude sickness no way you can get the algorithm from the first try.

Very central but guiet, clean, with very charming decoration, very friendly and helpful staff, hot water with good pressure and wonderful breakfast. There is also a parking very close to the hotel, which is very important when you travel by car. We strongly recommend it.
Tip: Ask for the rooms on the upper floor.
Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Katherine was amazing for getting us taxis, breakfast every morning, and having the Covid test done to return to the states (which the walk in office is literally next door! super convenient). Also, the main plaza is a couple minute walk with restaurants and markets all around - an ideal location
I had no complaints at all with the property.

Very friendly staff, super nice rooms and good breakfast! location is also amazing.
Maybe the only thing is that there is no 24h reception, the staff is only here in the morning. Which means you need to align with the staff upfront if you need to check in or out outside of this time.

Central location and breakfast included.
No hot water at night.
