A meal at nearby Lobster Cove is a great way to end the day. After enjoying the beach, wander back to the cottage and cool off with the outdoor shower and lounge on the outdoor deck. What we like about this place its right in the center of the best York Maine has to offer; York Harbor and Short Sands Beach. York Harbor has several outstanding restaurants, most notably York Harbor Inn and a great “Fishermans Walk” that parallels the York River all the way up to the Wiggly Bridge-a must do! Not to be outdone is the York Cliff Walk that takes you to Mothers Beach. Or do both the Cliff Walk and the Fishermans Walk-they do connect by Stage Neck Inn (another great place to grab a bite).
