My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a 4-night long weekend. We had a wonderful time and the unit had every convenience imaginable, down to extension cords on the bedside tables, a wonderful shower, amazingly well-appointed kitchen, fantastic balcony furniture that were a little higher than usual so had a perfect unobstructed view of the ocean. I wonder if the owners are particularly tall -- the counter stools and a wonderful leather chair with ottoman all seemed well-suited for someone tall. I am exceptionally short, so I notice things like that. Honestly, things were fine anyway, but if you are tall this is definitely your rental! Thanks for a fantastic weekend -- we'll rent again.

Amazing place on a beautiful quieter part of the beach. The home is extremely clean, nicely updated and perfect for our family of 4. The boardwalk is about a 15 minute walk which can be a bit tough for little kids in the heat but it only takes a couple of minutes to drive down there. Easy parking and indoor stairwell was really nice.

Spent a week at this beautiful condo and enjoyed every minute. Beachfront with every amenity and very clean. Parking was a little tight as the complex was busy, but manageable. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Our family took a quick trip to the beach and enjoyed our stay at La Casa del Mare. The location was great with easy access to the beach. The condo was a great fit for our family of 4 and the decor was beachy without going over the top so we felt very comfortable. We look forward to trying to get back in the future.

This condominium has been recently updated and the kitchen is well-appointed. The space is very clean with new furniture and beds. We enjoyed being able to walk to local restaurants. A wonderful place to stay right by the beach

We had an amazing stay at La Casa del Mare. It’s recently renovated and was nice and clean, with views you can’t beat. I can’t get over how perfect the location was! Carolina Beach has a ton to do and places to eat. In this condo, you can be on the beach within seconds with private beach access, and you see beautiful views of the ocean from the living area and secondary bedroom. We loved taking it all in on the porch. Highly recommend - can’t wait to come back!

The unit was well-maintained, beautifully decorated. Sliding patio doors off the living room opened to a covered balcony furnished with two cabaret height tables/four chairs, and an astonishing view of the ocean. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes/cookware, and basic supplies. The washer/dryer operated well. The bed in the master was very comfortable. There was a second, adequate, bedroom, (not as nice as the master, but would have worked fine if we had additional guests in our party). Extra blankets/pillows were stored/available. The two designated parking places provided on the concrete pad directly under the building could be accessed from the street, and exited at the rear of the building. We appreciated having our vehicle under cover. The garden hose located directly around the corner for use in rinsing off after visiting the beach also came in handy to rinse salt accumulation off our vehicle. The closed stairwell in the center led to the condos above. The stairwell itself needed a fresh coat of paint, and attention to floor coverings, but we assumed the owners of the individual unit did not have control over that area of the building. Upon opening the door of the unit, everything was pristine. The entire process from booking through check-out was simple. The owners were available by phone and answered questions/provided information we needed. We would definitely return to this property.

When we arrived we noticed dog hair in the main bedroom but it did not bother us. We also found fish in the fridge. Two days after our trip they sent an email saying we had a dog on the property and they charged our card for $300. We go deep sea fishing every day when we are down there on all day trips and wouldn’t even have time for a dog. Our fishing charter (also good friend) was there when we arrived and are witnesses! We go there 10-15 times a year and never have a dog or any animal with us! Never again!!! This property owner should be ashamed! We will fight this even if it means we have to go to court!
