Location was great! Being a remote island, it has preserved its authenticity. Scenery is stunning as well as the beach. Food was very good. Staff was super friendly.
Luggage arrived late as they were waiting for another plane to deliver all luggages together. We also had issues with hot water.

lovely magical location. Fijians are wonderful

The Fijian staff were amazing! So welcoming and friendly. The incredible surroundings were unforgettable. The activities which included private beach picnics went beyond expectations. Truly a vacation that would be hard to find elsewhere. A must do!
The ocean view from the burr suites however talking to management about I am confident they are working hard to make it better.

The location was excellent the people were outstanding and the experience very nice.
Whilst I appreciate supplies are difficult to get and a focus is on local produce the food handling and the final result of dishes served is not up to par. E.G Frozen bread or croissants when thawed should be heated up in an oven not served cold with a soggy wet bottom, no one is in a hurry and is quite happy to wait for a couple of minutes to have an edible croissant instead of mush. Cuisine is local but perhaps a little training to bring up the standard would be a worthwhile investment.

Yasawa Resort And Spa just exceptional - very private, lovely staff (you'll feel like staying with your family). Very quite, beautiful landscape, sunsets. It is expensive, but it worth it. Food selection is good, and hotel cater for specific dietary requirements.

Fresh uncooked produce/fruit was fantastic and plentiful, available on demand, served with a smile. However cooked options very variable and average at best.
Please refer to above. We did approach the Resort's owner and management to discuss the dramatic difference from our previous visit in 2016 and to discuss our bitter disappointment with the food quality delivered to our plates, a common talking point brought up continually by many other frustrated and disappointed guests. The owner said they would talk to the chef, however, we felt that the current chef's were doing their best, but were well out of their depths to have the skills to provide FIVE STAR dining. Even simple dishes were very variable, and not enjoyable e.g. eggs any way, french toast, any cut of meat whether that be pork belly, steak, salmon, lamb, tuna, etc etc.

Location was good and the staff fine.
The rooms are in need of some update. The air conditioning was barely fit for purpose and unable to cope with the room size. It was located directly over the bed which is not good as it does not allow a good nights sleep due to noise and cold chills.
Lack of internet into the rooms not really understandable in this day and age. needed to keep in touch with work but very inconvenient to have to do this from a public area.

Beautiful setting with a magnificent Bure. Staff were amazing - like family. All so friendly and helpful. Not at all pushy just very relaxed
The food could have been of a higher quality. Some was superb but some was very average

We liked the resort overall in general. What I loved the most was the seclusion and privacy overall. I rarely saw other guest except for meals and excursions. This was great. I especially loved the private picnics. This was by far the best! Next time I will book more picnics!! Staff very friendly.
I was a little disappointed in the amount of bugs that were in the rooms, but your on an island so some should be expected. We slept with many geckos and tons of ants/moths.

nothing we didn’t like

Location and access to remote experiences unprecedented. Staff was awesome.
Food and wine selections could have been better. Attention to guest food allergies was harder than necessary. Also, communication on arrival was poorly executed.

Staff were incredibly nice and helpful from start to finish. Fantastic meal service throughout our stay.
A/C units are too small for unit size

luxurious, remote and in sync with its community.
great food and service
remoteness comes with its own challenges for access - in particular after heavy rain

beautiful location. wonderful staff. lovely bures
The bed wasn’t up to standard, all springy and when lying down you could here the springs! After complaint they did change it for a new one which was much better. The spa was also not up to standard.

The remoteness of this resort was just as was expected, truely beautiful.
Given the remote location, the food was better than expected.
The picnic on a private beach for 4 hours is must do.
Was marketed as an adult only resort however had 10 - 12 kids there when we stayed there.
Staff though very friendly, lacked the professionalism expected for a resort of this price. Had to order drinks a few times, then would end up having to go to the bar myself to collect the drinks, wrong food orders and duplicate food orders were frequently being sent to the table.
Seems to be a lot of miscommunication between staff.
When checking out, bill was $100 overstated, though happy to remove, should have not been included.
If the weather is bad, the plane cannot come to collect you. It's a long 3.5 hour rough boat trip back to Nadi. This happened to me today.

It is quite a trip to Yasawa but worth the extra time and cost getting there

Too many insects in the room
