This property was an excellent choice for our family Thanksgiving get-together. The home was very clean and accommodated our 13 family members very comfortably. The downstairs had a great entertainment area - especially for teenage boys. There were plenty of clean linens and towels. The house is in a quiet area and has a beautiful view from the back deck which we enjoyed while using the super big gas grill and the propane firepit on the deck. There were plenty of dishes and silverware - the only addition might be more 9 x 13 or casserole size cookware but we were cooking a Thanksgiving dinner so that requires more dishes. The warming oven certainly came in handy. Having a 2nd refrigerator in the basement also was a huge help. The downstairs bathrooms were of a great design (and a first for us) for all of us to use when needed. It was nice to have bathroom toiletries there for us. There is very much a pride of ownership and we appreciated the personalized note and drink cozies. We took advantage of some of the area hiking trails as the weather was great. This is a home that we all would recommend and was a super meeting place for our family that lives in New York and Virginia.

This place is truly amazing. Very clean and plenty of bathrooms and shower accomodations. Game room is awesome with pool table, cornhole, paceman, etc. We had a great family reunion and were lucky to have a beautiful fall leaf color weekend.

The property is wonderful and exactly as described. Communication with our host was friendly and clear. The noon check in and out was as a nice bonus that allowed us to be more relaxed! This place was perfect for a family and friend gathering. We will be back for sure!

This property is absolutely beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. The view is amazing! The home is very large and great for small or large groups, young or more mature. It's beautifully decorated. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen I've every experienced. Truly, as long as you have food, you wouldn't need to leave the property to have an amazing time. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

This home is located not far off a main road, in an amazing and quiet location, has a super layout and is beautifully decorated! Best features include comfortable beds w/ quality bed linens, a well stocked kitchen (we loved the 2 dishwashers!), abundance of really comfortable deck furniture, smart TV's w access to lots of channels (we watched PSU kick off the 1st game of '23), oversized lake towels, a cool lower level with lots of room to spread out, and best of all - a million dollar view with a great firepit - you won't want to leave! Very nicely maintained - Owner has thought of everything to make it a great vacation destination! Our family can't wait to return!

Wendy was a superb host, answered all my questions and property was clean as a whistle as promised. Four adults and 2 dogs were very comfortable - do note that there is very little grass, mostly gravel and stone, so if your pet has sensitive paws you should bring booties or the like. Also, there are no restaurants or grocers close by, so plan on stocking up and cooking, or traveling for meals.
The weather was superb for mid-August - we would love to return in spring or fall!

This house is beautifully decorated in every single room. Plus the amenities are really top notch. The basement with the Murphy beds was my kids dream come true. With a pool table, arcade, and huge tv, I hardly saw them upstairs! There’s plenty of towels, extra bedding, and cleaning supplies. It’s the worst when you rent a place and they give you one pod and 2 trash bags only but these owners thought of everything! The kitchen is very well stocked. Pots, pans, plenty of dishes and utensils and silverware. You do need to bring your own coffee pods or the triangle filters for your ground coffee. I forgot to bring filters and it is a bit of a hike from any stores. We spent most of our time at Raystown Lake, which is a 40 minute drive. We rented pontoon boats and the kids fished, swam, and tried water skiing. The hosts are excellent communicators and you can tell that they really take pride in how clean they keep the place. The neighborhood is really quiet and peaceful. We will be back for sure!

We had so much fun staying in this beautiful home. The house has all the amenities you could want, plus more! The kitchen is well equipped and we had no shortage of towels! The kids loved the rec room in the basement and had so much fun playing all of the games. The personal touches were lovely and we so appreciated the take home koozies! We will definitely be back :-)

This place was awesome. Not too far from the boat launch in a private community away from everyone else we spent time on the back porch at the fire, play corn hole and pool just listen to the sound of nature
