Village by the Beach - La Jolla Shores P923K Phase 1 (Beach, Island, Leeward Streets) pool will be closed, starting April 29th, 2024 for deck resurfacing and all guests are to use the Phase 2 pool. Phase 2 (Packary Street) pool will be closed, starting May 6th, 2024 for deck resurfacing and all guests are to use the Phase 1 pool. This has been factored into the current pricing and no additional discounts will be applied. We apologize for any inconvenience. CLEANING AND INSPECTION -We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards. -Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom. -These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, a sponge, and one make-up wipe per bathroom. -We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family's arrival. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -A two-night minimum stay is required. -Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older. The guest must have a State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. -PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: MAXIMUM OF TWO PETS/WEIGHT RESTRICTION 75LBS OR LESS. There is a $100 per pet fee for all stays 7 days or less, $200 for stays of 8-29 days and $300 for stays of 30 days or greater. In addition, there is also a pet-cleaning fee of $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days and $100 for stays of 30+ days. Really enjoyed our stay! Other reviews from a few years ago mentioned cleanliness as an issue, but the unit was spotless. Bedrooms were large and it was great having 3 king beds since there were 3 couples. The other beds (a bunk bed, pull-out couch and a day bed with a trundle in the living room) don't offer much privacy, but that's to be expected, and it was really nice having all the bed options since we had a few friends join us for a couple of days during our trip. Kitchen was well-stocked in terms of the number of pots/pans, plates, etc. Other reviews also complained that there weren't spices and other kitchen supplies like foil, tupperware, etc., but after reading the reviews when we booked the unit, we knew to bring supplies with us. In addition, grocery store is fairly close so it's not a big deal if you need anything. There is a hose to wash off feet right outside the front door, and despite leaving our shoes on the porch, floors got sandy. The stick vacuum isn't the greatest, but definitely took care of the keeping gritty floors to a minimum. We didn't really have any problems, but management response to a couple of questions was almost immediate, even outside of normal business hours--very impressive. Overall, the unit was great. Short walk to the beach, pool right outside the door--the pool temperature was really nice vs. the warm bathwater that you might expect in August. Check-out was really easy too.

Literally 4 paces from front door to pool locked gate. Expect playful children noises. Nice clean place inside and out. Pool guy maintained chemical levels daily. Close to dining and bar. Bring beach towels, 1 block walk or very short drive to beach. Golf cart rental available nearby. Close to grocery and food services. Animal area only rocks no grass. Cold AC. Make sure to bring personal supplies and necessities. 5 -10 min to marina guide fishing. Comfortable place. Easy in-out. No issues, contact by email or text. Ms. Sierra was there if necessary.

This condo was amazing. Our family had a great time. Loved that the pool was right outside of the condo and the beach was just a short walk for us. Would definitively stay here again.

We enjoyed our week at this condo. The two pools were a great convenience, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beach was within walking distance. Well, walking distance for some folks, but an even shorter drive. Picking up a beach parking permit from the nearby gas station is easy enough. When we first arrived, the handle pulled right off the front door. While inconvenient, we reached out to have it fixed, but it never was resolved. We would still make it work, but just a heads up!

The property is close to the beach and the property overlooks the pool. One big disappointment for me was the coffee machine. I would have liked a better coffee machine. We had three vehicles with only two reserved spots but there was not an issue with the third parking.

Family of 11 stayed here and main call out is the limited kitchen supplies, we literally had to buy our own spices and foil, Tupperware at the local grocery store. There were no dishwasher packs. Limited kitchen towels. Kitchen amenities definitely needs a facelift. Also no complimentary beach towels and we requested extra towels and we were told to wash what we had. Linens are not the best grade so don’t expect a nice comfy bed with hotel Style bedding. Overall the location was great and the family had a good time.
