This new getaway, located in the heart of Ocean Beach, provides the perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, distance from points of interest, and value. Location (all times listed represent driving distance unless otherwise noted): - 10-15 minute walk to Ocean Beach and OB Pier - 5 minutes from tons of common stores like Target, Dick's Sporting Goods, etc. in Point Loma - 5 minutes from Sea World - 10 minutes from Balboa Park - 10 minutes from the world-famous San Diego Zoo - 10 minutes from Fashion Valley and Mission Valley shopping - 10 minutes from airport - 15 minutes from Downtown, Little Italy, and Old Town Features - 1 king bedroom - 2 queen bedrooms - 1 queen sofa sleeper - 1 full sofa sleeper - Full kitchen Adjacent neighborhoods: Pacific Beach, Point Loma, Mission Beach, Mission Bay, Old Town We've lived in this beautiful city all of our lives. We'll be glad to help point you in the right direction for the best places to go and activities to do so you can make the best of your stay! Guest will have access to the entire unit. Ocean Beach is one of San Diego's most desirable neighborhoods for locals, with easy access to the ocean, pier, volleyball courts, and tons of local shops and eateries right by the beach. It's central location makes it convenient to go to Mission Beach, Belmont Park, and Point Loma. But unlike other coastal towns nearby, Ocean Beach has an eclectic charm and character that makes it one of the most unique beach destinations San Diego has to offer. There is usually plenty of parking on adjacent streets, although the beach itself is walkable and there is also a bus stop right in front on the main street. Street parking is free. Please check out our other listings for additional availability and occupancy, or feel free to send a note if you're interested in booking multiple apartments for your stay for larger groups. By booking this property, you are acknowledging that you have read and will abide by the Good Neighbor Policy outlined below. GENERAL Standard check-in time is 4 PM and check-out is 10 AM. We thank you for not smoking and not bringing any pets onto the premises. Please ensure that the total number of guests you specify in your booking is accurate, including all infants and babies of all ages, and let us know if that changes. We will only accommodate those guests specified and no more above and beyond that number, especially due to municipal codes regarding occupancy. NOISE & GATHERINGS Due to the residential nature of our neighborhood and out of respect for our neighbors in the same building, we have a strict policy against social gatherings or any other loud/disruptive activities, especially after 9pm. This also means no visitors (anyone not already accounted for in the booking and already staying here) at anytime. Our property manager lives nearby and he’s had to ask guests to leave in the past for throwing parties. OCCUPANCY Please note the maximum occupancy and number of bedrooms specified in this listing. The maximum number of guests shall not exceed this number at all times. STAYS LONGER THAN 30 NIGHTS Airbnb does not have a mechanism for recurring charges, but as a benefit to both us and the guest, we do require a recurring cleaning of the unit to be scheduled once every 2-3 weeks at an additional cost equal to the original cleaning fee each time, and this would include cleaning of towels and linens. FURNISHINGS Moving existing furniture out of the apartment or new furniture into it without consent of the host is strictly prohibited. Moving large furniture within the apartment from one room to another is also prohibited as our housekeeper may not be able to physically move it back once you depart. PARKING Parking details are specified in the Amenities section of this listing. If there is no reserved parking, please observe all posted parking restrictions when utilizing public parking. TRASH & RECYCLING Use blue bins for recycling, green bins for food waste, and black bins for everything else. INFANTS & BABIES The space is listed as child-friendly because we've gotten a lot of requests from families with infants who want to stay with us. We'd be happy to host those groups, but unfortunately, we do not have cribs or pack and plays or any bedding of that nature available for use, so please bear that in mind if it is a requirement for you. OTHER We strive to ensure that all of our guests have the best experience staying with us but we understand that accidents may happen. If, during your stay, anything accidentally breaks (e.g., a wine glass, photo frame, vase, etc.), please let us know right away so we can be sure to properly deep clean it after your departure. This is primarily for the safety of the next guest who will arrive after you and we generally won't charge you any amount of the security deposit for small items or decor, so please don't hesitate to let us know. We really appreciate it! CITY REGULATIONS The City noise limits pursuant to Municipal Code sections 59.5.0401 and 59.5.0501, and remedies available to the City to address and enforce violations, including the issuance of individual administrative citations in an amount up to $1,000 to each guest and to the host. Upon a failure to vacate by the expiration of the occupancy term, guests may be deemed trespassers and may be subject to removal by relevant authorities Pursuant to Chapter 5, Article 1, Division 10 of the Municipal Code, if the police are called to address public peace, health, safety, or general welfare issues, guests may be responsible for the cost of the police response.
