The bed in the room was fantastic, love the linens, and really comfy. The walk in shower was so nice, much better than a tub shower combo. I like that they offer large bottled shampoo, conditioner, body wash. No more small plastic bottles that just clog up the landfill. Prices in the small “market” and the restaurant are high, but it’s downtown Portland, not much you can do. I had my car valet parked, and let me tell you, even on a busy weekend they always got my car to me within 10 minutes. You can text them ahead of time, and they will text you when it is ready so you aren’t standing downstairs and waiting. Staff is great and the whole hotel is pretty clean and kept up. Easy to get to from the freeway, and a short walk to the convention center and the Lightrail mass transit system.
The only think I didn’t like was the distance from the elevator. I don’t walk well, lots of pain issues, and the room was about as far away as you can get. Not their fault as I didn’t say anything, and the place was full so unable to change rooms. I also do not like the carts they have for taking your belongs to and from the room. Usually it’s a square contraption with a bar across the top and you can stack your luggage. I saw one like that (someone else was using) but most of them are almost like a shopping cart without the basket. Each time we used it, stuff fell off of it two to three times each way in transit. If you have two suitcases, its okay, but if you have bags and other stuff that isn’t square, good luck.

Hotel was really cozy
Everything was good

Bathroom fan is like a jet engine and comes on every time you turn the light on.
Sink arrangement is TOO small - need double sink and some counter space.
Valet parking costs seem high but understand the security risks in the neighborhood.

The employees. So sweet and helpful. Valet parking was easier than most places I have been. They are quick. Every employee I encountered was smiling and kind.
The location is perfect if that is the area you need to stay but would not choose the location if I just needed a place in Portland.

Ice cold indoor pool! Deck was very slippery..saw 2 falls..had to call for towels twice. The reason we chose this hotel was for the indoor pool..huge mistake..wont stay here again..parking was a nightmare as well

Location is obviously good.
No free parking; no breakfast included. Room was flooded upon our arrival. I guess this happens when it rains? Guess what? It rains in Portland. Had to switch rooms; didn't get comped in any way and the staff asked "so, do you want us to get you another room?" Duh. The pullout sofa/bed didn't even qualify as a sleeping arrangement. Booking says that this room, which featured a king bed and a pullout sofa/bed sleeps 4. This is true only if referring to 4 children, all using the king bed. The hotel website gives no details about the room type, so, I think this is an example of BOOKING mis-representing.

The location was convenient. I loved that there were services such as breakfast and dinner even if I was unable to utilize them. Will possibly booked this location again especially with the price.
When I unfolded the couch bed there was crumbs on it. I got them off but it was still a bit disgusted to see.

Room OK, large desk, not too loud fridge. Bathroom products in large containers instead of small one-use ones
Parking was announced with USD 25. That’s why I came. But there was no such parking, only valet for 46 USD. - Staff not welcoming, bordering rude, as if how dare you ask them anything or staying here (3 occasions, 3 different people). 3 weeks traveling, worst staff. - Worst gym ever, you easily hurt yourself with broken pieces on the cable station in addition to barely anything working. Is this allowed??? - The free weights were OK, though on the low-weight side only, the one bench in bad shape. This hotel had a not welcoming feel, I have stayed in similar-sized chain hotels where I felt more welcome in my 3 weeks traveling in the area. - Toilet not working properly, door/ lock no working properly. - New management or new hotel really needed. [I stay in the Marriott chain a lot, so I know what I can expect]

A lot of street noise
