Perfect place to begin a trip in Iceland! Highly recommend.

Cosy, spacious home away from home. Clean and tidy with everything you need. Location is great. Just steps from the main street and all attractions. Everything within short walking distance. Great bedding, attention to details. Quiet street. Lovely owners. Absolutely perfect stay! We loved Aska apartment!

Exceptional

This is a lovely, quiet, and beautifully located property that's exactly as it's advertised. The owner kindly let me check in early after a transatlantic flight, and -- this was exceptional service -- left my glasses for me at the Icelandair Service desk after I left them behind accidentally! My friend and I really felt at home in Aska Apartments and used them as a base for short, happy visit. Bonus: they're very close to the church which is visible from nearly everywhere in Reykjavik so you can never get lost! Also, very conveniently located for the central bus station which is a hub for many excursions.

best location with lovely rooms

Location: definitely the best, just in walk to the most famous church Hallgrímskirkja. which means city center and a bus stop for all the tours and shuttle buses you need! Room: with kitchen and everything we need, it would be nice to have washing machine tho, but it’s very comfortable and warm and lovely, with many information provided by the host we feel the most welcomed, very recommended.

Great apartment, clean and comfortable in a great location...recommend!

Cosy apartment in a great location. Really central but on a quiet street . The apartment was warm and well ventilated, the heating was easy to control. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of space for the 4 of us to live comfotably.

This is a house converted into 2 flats with little sound insulation. It was easy to hear the people downstairs when they got up at 6am every day.... not that they were being noisy, I'm sure they could hear us too.

A great spot for our sightseeing

Great location near Hallgrimskirkja and downtown. But in a quiet area. Good facilities.kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and items that other guests had left behind.

This is a really comfortable apartment minutes from the centre of the city. It is also housed in an old Icelandic house on a side street. Lovely experience

Simply perfect for us.

Simply everything, The appartmant was very spacious for us 6. Apart from the really good location (2 minutes away from the church) the kitchen was incredibly well equipped. It was a pleasant surprise to find even some food coffee, sugar, tea and many others in the kitchen. Also in the bathroom you can find everyting.

Great location, nice apartment, comfortable beds.

Cleanliness- kitchen wasn't very clean and the fridge had leftover food left in it. The kitchen also wasn't well stocked. We couldn't find cleaning spray for example. Only two toilet rolls were provided for 4 guests and 2 nights and 2 days which ended up being inadequate. No washing machine.

A lovely, clean and cosy apartment. It had everything we needed. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the middle of where you need to be. The apartment has a lovely homely feel to it. Highly recommended. we had a lovely stay there, thank you.

property could’ve been cleaner but the hosts and location were great.

great location, great space for four adults. kitchen had most things needed to cook a hearty meal. super easy check in, hosts really great and communicative. great addition to have the parking space.

wasn’t very clean. especially in the cupboards in the kitchen and the sloping ceiling in the kitchen.

Close to all amenities. A good, comfortable stay.

Very steel stairs to first floor apartment. We are in our 70's and found taking our luggage up the stairs very difficult

Nice cozy apartment in the city center.

We had apartment on the seconds floor. Apartment has one big living room with kitchen and dining table, and two bedrooms, one with double bed and one with two single beds. Appartement nicely furnished, you have everything you need on the kitchen. Nice idea with leftover food from previous guests, so if you forgot to buy salt or sugar, you will find it there. We never met a host, but we communicated via sms and host was responsive and helpful.

What could be better, is to mark better parking space, because it was not really clear where to park.

Typical Islandic apartment in great location in Reykjavik

Typical Islandic apartment, very centrally located in Reykjavik. The host gave clear instructions on the key. There's one parking space with the house (3 apts). We managed to park the car for free during our stay as the street next to the apartment offers free parking.

The pillows could be better, they're too soft so you're basically on the mattress.

Location is fantastic, host was very good at answering queries.

Really enjoyed my stay at Aska. Warm, comfortable and very cosy. Perfect base for 2 nights in downtown Reykjavik.
