Good location and pleasant staff

Breakfast choices were simple but okay- I suggested they have plain oatmeal packs, not just sweetened. Staff was very nice

Orca TINY rooms

Close to downtown, clean and Friendly

No cable TV is working in my room. Rooms way smaller than I've ever stayed in. Door lock VERY WEAK! No black out curtains. Blinds let most of the light in.

Excellent location for travelers with basic needs.

The location of the Orca Inn is excellent. It is within walking distance of downtown Friday Harbor and has easy access to a main road leading to the rest of the island. The staff is very friendly and I really like the free coffee in the morning. They have a picnic table set up outside the office and we enjoyed breakfast and take out dinner there.

This wasn't our first stay and so we knew to expect a small, very basic, and dated room. We only need a clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay, but if someone has high expectations, this is not the place for them.

If available and still affordable would stay again!

Nice check in manager, very accommodating. Cool retro type room. Nice to be on ground floor close to my car! Nice coffee bar with some good snacks.

The fan in the ac/heat unit pretty loud.

Great location but no frills facility

The location was the best attribute. Room was clean, bed was comfortable.

The facility reminded me of a college dorm. Shower had good water pressure but strangely was located in a closet size room, and sink was in another closet size room. The heater was quite loud and located on the wall behind the bed's headboard. There are no nightstands on either side of the bed, we had to keep our phones on the floor. Facility definitely could use a face lift.

Very good

The staff was super friendly. The room was spacious and clean, with good linens, towels, and toiletries. We were pleasantly surprised with the well thought out complimentary coffee, tea and treats. We were upgraded at no additional charge.

It served our purpose and the Keurig coffee maker was helpful to get the day started.

A single story, with separate bathrooms was very comfortable.

it was way farther from Friday Harbor dock than we anticipated.

Whilst I feel it could do with little updating, it was comfortable and clean. Staff really friendly.

We would definitely stay again- easy on the budget and has everything you need.

Budget Friendly! Small and outdated rooms, but the staff and cleanliness makes up for that. Bed was comfy and it was great having fridge and microwave. Coffee bar was amazing and lots of places to sit outside. Bakery San Juan is right across the street- an added bonus. Large grocery right next door and coffee shop a block away. Little bit of a hike from the ferry terminal, but only took us about 20 minutes- 10 minutes going back. Staff very nice.

Outdated and one of the hinges on the door had the screws strip out. Took a bit of work to be able to temporally fix that so we could get the door closed ( it was late at night so we didn't want to disturb the staff). Rooms are definitely on the small side!

Rooms need to be modernized.

The room was exceptionally small and ill equipped. The shower didn't work. Thankfully there was someone around who could fix it. But when I went to take a shower, the dispenser that was in the shower stall was just for conditioner not soap and it was empty. Since the soap was in another area I basically rinsed with water. The light fixtures were meant for hallways not reading and there wasn't enough space for 2 people's suitcases so mine went on the desk. After I left I wondered if the shower was ever cleaned because the water couldn't be turned on.

If you just need a way station between outdoor activities, this place has everything you'd want.

The stay wasn’t the best but just on friendliness/hospitality n accommodation alone I will return

There was no breakfast just like a snack spot with coffee or tea and some muffins and cookies . The location was pretty close to everything . The staff was super friendly and accommodating.

They’re very small rooms with only one bed even though I book it with 2 beds, No pets allowed and there was no cable or anything els just regular antenna tv. The worst was that the walls were so thin I could hear everything around me from next door to outside noises I couldn’t really sleep
