Quiet, well equipped, good room temp, comfortable.
There didn't seem to be a way to rent a padlock for the lockers upon check-in. It seemed to be something you HAD to do when placing the booking.

Located closed to ferry terminal in the prime area of Friday Harbor, has decent, clean bed and bath.
Iron bed was little shaky, wish it was little longer, so I could stretch my legs a bit. Kitchen could have been a bit more clean.

The location was excellent. Walking distance to all amenities.
The air conditioner had no way to turn off or turn down. Room was quite cold.

Sure wish the kitchen area was clean when we arrived in the afternoon. Three pans of old food on the stove. Inside of refrigerator smelled icky. The other parts of the place were clean.

Within walking distance of the ferry and everything in Friday Harbor. Good kitchen facilities with 2 microwaves and 2 stoves/ovens.
Very overpriced for a bunk bed and shared bathroom. Windowless common room is dark and unwelcoming. Impossible to adjust AC in our room, we had to ask for 2 more blankets because it was freezing. The mattress was old and blankets were too thin.

was close to ferry terminal
The bed was actually a bunk bed like my kids would use with a twin on top and full on bottom. NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING. I was looking for two beds never thought they would be bunk beds.

We loved the location. The kitchen was large with a lot of room to work. The common area was great with a pool table, games, and 2 large TV's. The main/big bathroom showers and restroom were clean. Our Quadruple room had plenty of space for 5 of us. The sink in the room was a nice extra bonus. The mattresses on the the beds were comfortable and overall the room was clean. The one staff person did respond to our needs when contacted.
The two small bathrooms have a lot of mold on the ceilings and the showers needed to have a deep cleaning. The carpet in our hallway was black with wear and desperately needed to be cleaned. One pillow case and 1 sheet on our beds had stains on them. All the plugs on one side of our room did not work. The kitchen is a community kitchen and we had to do a scrub down of the refrigerator, stove, and counters before we could cook. The walls are fairly thin between the rooms so we could hear the early morning risers and late night people fairly well.

i really liked the location. it’s in the heart of the downtown area with easy access to all restaurants, etc. The bed was quite comfortable.
The bathroom near the room were super unclean. The shower curtains had mould and stains all over. The cubicle itself looked like it had not been cleaned in months with hair in the drains and in clumps on the floor. The bathroom sinks were also incredibly dirty with stains etc. Considering that our room was not cheap it was very disappointing to have such dirty bathrooms. In the room, the underside of the mattress on the upper bunk was badly stained.

OK as a hostel. Family room without sharing was good.
The room was stuffy and airless and the bed frames very flimsy for bunk beds.

the location was nice
1. our room was very hot and they had signs saying we could get a fan but when we asked they said no.
2. they advertise and told me there was bag storage but when we got there they said there wasn’t any

The bathroom could have been cleaner.

Location, free parking.
A blanket case instead of just a sheet could have made it more hygiene.

The hostel was centrally located. It was near many restaurants and shopping. Parking was available right outside of the hostel.
The sheets were stained and dirty. The whole building had a very off smell to it. It reminded me of the smell of a wet basement. The carpets were stained and very worn. The whole building just felt sketchy.

Perfect location. Flexible reservation policies. Comfortable Mattresses.
Its your average hostel. Nothing special. We booked it because it was available and had flexible cancellation.

The hostel was clean and fairly quiet, comfortable beds. We had #7, double room with a window close to some of the bathrooms.

There was no breakfast. Room was quiet. Beds tidy.
Bathrooms weren't clean in the morning-lots of long black hairs in multiple places; wet floor.
Couldn't find manager on 2 occasions. Found a guy who would only answer the question of," are you the manager" with, "what do you want" or " I'm an employee here". At the least-rude at the most, suspicious.

This hostel was located in a great area for enjoying everything Friday Harbor has to offer. Our private room was very clean and comfortable and so were the bathrooms. Although it was a bit expensive for a hostel, it was a great value in a place where most accommodations are much more expensive. We were able to park right out front and walk everywhere we wanted to go in town. Also, it included a large kitchen and lounge area for shared use.
I've stayed in hostels in other countries before but this was the first time I stayed in one in the United States. It was standard for a hostel as far as accommodations go, but it wasn't as lively and friendly as other hostels I've visited. Everyone kind of kept to themselves. That's fine with me, but if you're looking for a regular hostel experience you may be a little disappointed.

The kitchen is very well supplied for cooking and quite clean. It was generally quiet and our bed was comfortable.
It is expensive for a hostel, but still the cheapest option on the island.

Location. Mattresses were very comfortable. Clean, basic place.
Could use night lights in the hall at night for getting up to use shared bathrooms. No coffee in kitchenette in early am.
