They still had many signs of 'Covid'- Era propaganda posted up on the walls. Like, for instance, as I arrived and approached the doorway, there was still a big sign that stated that masks are required for entry. So, who overlooks this and decides it's OK to leave this nonsense up? Also, too many 'Covid'- Era BS sings all over the place like stay home if you're sick, wash your hands, social distance, and cover your mouth.. like we are in an elementary class. Such disgusting, dehumanizing nonsense propaganda. There was still a big, hanging plexi curtain in front of the front desk... there's absolutely No scientific basis for this and it all should have been removed a long time ago. All of that made me feel uncomfortable. Stay home?? I'm on a vacation to see my Mom in Fairfield Iowa and I chose Super 8 with all that still going on.. yeah, in June 2023. Same thing in July 2022. People really need to speak up. So unreal.

My wife had a breathing problem and had a problem climbing the stairs to the second floor. The kind clerk gave us a first floor room even though we had moved into the first room.

Everything was as expected.

Good location as you enter town. Rooms were clean. Fridge provided.

Buffet breakfast was same daily. Biscuits and gravy or waffles were only hot breakfast choice. Carbs or carbs. No proteins. Stayed 3 nights and exact breakfast every day. I'm eating healthier so wasn't able to eat there. Temperatures got into the 30s overnight. Housekeeping turned the heat off when they cleaned. It was warmer during the day so wasn't aware until I woke up freezing in the middle of the night that it was turned off. I had it set at 67 so not like it would have been hot in there when they were cleaning.

It was clean and comfortable

The cleaning crew stole some very valuable cologne that we left by mistake. We called just hours after we checked out after we realized we had left it. The main desk was very unhelpful, they said they would check later and call us back. Never heard back. We told them this was very special to us, we had just gotten it in Ireland and cannot buy more, they didn’t seem to care.
