We would stay again.

The location was great! It's very handy to be able to walk to most places, without having to load the kids in the car all the time. The beds were comfortable. It was handy having separate bedrooms for our children. The shower was great. The bathroom had a washing machine. The clothes dryer wasn't working, but we didn't need it. WiFi was good. There was a full working kitchen, with everything we needed. The end bedroom near the corridor was quite noisy one night, but luckily, there was a pull out couch for our daughter to sleep on away from the noise. It was a clean and simple apartment. Perfect for our weekend away.

The booking itself was a little of a process as you need to send through ID and fill out some forms, but the staff were very helpful and friendly. It wasn't hard to do. It just took a little while. If you get everything done as soon as possible, the better.

Great location, perfect for a one night stopover

The apartment was clean and tidy, except for the floors. All our feet were dirty and black in very little time

Fantastic location

We have stayed at other Swainson apartments nearby before, so had a fair idea what to expect. Location excellent, size ok, provisions (bathroom/laundry) really appreciated. Shower was great. Handy to have access to basic cleaning supplies and vacuum. Get what you pay for.

Door to balcony didn't have an option to lock for security. More information about the 2 parking options would have been appreciated before choosing between free and paid options when filling in form. Mostly clean but between couch cushions hasn't been done for some time, also the general cleanliness and sanitation of the couch was questionable. I vacuumed the couch during my stay and made $4.20 in change, but also found a lighter which is not cool when you have kids. Floors had been mopped but not really clean. Not enough cutlery, plates bowls cups, glasses for even 4 people, room sleeps up to 6, we had 5. Pots and pans need replacing, all non stick type but really scratched so unusable for health concerns. If you get the blow up bed there really is nowhere other than the pictures show to put it.

Great location, very handy to Rundle Mall

Location was awesome, room was very quiet with no road noise, apartment had everything we needed.

Check in link disappeared, luckily we had screen shot of lock box code.

Broken power point in kitchen was not safe and would recommend disconnecting or taping

Location was good.

Collecting keys wasn't convenient when you have a car, then parking wasn't great along with lugging your baggage around.

Not good.

The apartment was dirty, the couch had food between the cushions, under the bed was lollie wrappers, the carpets were not vacuumed very well, and the cutlery was dirty, the floor was dirty our feet were black from walking on them.

Great location but at a compromise

Great location with access to undercover parking - though a short walk away. Close to shops, supermarket, pharmacy, cafes and restaurants. Neat apartment with balcony. Has kitchen with everything you need, washing machine and dryer. Towels are thick and plush, and nice hot shower.

Check in process was long and cumbersome. This was not mentioned anywhere during the Booking.com process. Was told after paying the full (non refundable) amount on Bookings.com that we were then required to send photo ID and bank proof of payment as they are unable to directly verify with Bookings.com. they did not provide check in details until this is done so if you don't go ahead with it, you will lose your whole payment. Even after we sent in this additional information a full day before arrival, we still had to chase up check in details on the day at time of check in and was still required to fill in more forms to confirm the booking. Have never had such a long winded check in process. Didn't have access to wifi for three days out of our five day stay. The wifi username simply didn't exist and after numerous email correspondence we were then told to use a different username altogether. The fridge does not work. It is not cold. Anything you put in the fridge will remain at room temperature. The freezer section is slightly colder than what you expect of a fridge but don't expect to freeze anything any time soon. A bottle of milk did not freeze for 12hrs. Check in process was long and cumbersome. This was not mentioned anywhere during the Booking.com process. Disappointing & Frustrating

The location was great. Close to where we needed to be with lots of choices for food options. Water pressure and hot water was good

Communication from host in regard to issues was pathetic even though they said they would keep us updated they only responded when I emailed them and never with a solution. The fridge did not work during the entire stay the "free" Wifi did not work during the entire stay Wanted to charge extra for a 2nd bed in a 2 bedroom apartment Was not aware it was Uni Student accommodation - Neighbours quite loud Paid for parking although was not guaranteed a parking spot at all times. Poor lighting around the lock box to collect keys made it hard to find them

Great location, poor service.

Nice location, close enough to food, shops and trams to be a perfect stay.

Apartment is dirty if you scratch below the surface (don’t look between the couch cushions), bed was damp when we went in so had to rewash sheets, check in was over an hour late. check in process requires a drivers license with a selfie + a bank statement which is all the information to open credit card submitted through a random portal. The bedroom window pops out so anyone could break in if they wanted. Lastly maybe I didn’t read this properly but the deposit is taken at the time of booking and chasing up it being released was annoying. I usually put the hold on a different card but I had no choice to split it.

Location unreal, but let down but the cleaninless of the place.

Location was unreal.

The place was unclean, dust all over bedsides and tv cabinet and food left in the fridge. Also light hanging from the ceiling, broken blind and PowerPoint in the kitchen was disattatched from the wall.

Confusing directions

I liked the city location near Rundle Mall. The staff were helpful with the numerous dramas regarding parking issues. Adequate cooking utensils. Full size fridge. Washer/dryer. Bedsheets and towels were lovely, seemed quite new, and clean.

Very confusing to locate property entrance and parking was a drama. Half a block from entrance. Got offered different parking in their basement, more drama. Clicker worked intermittently. Luckily other residents helped me twice, and other times when going out had to exit car and manually push the gate button. Annoying! Could be much, much cleaner within unit. Cleaners are slack. Pictures on internet not reflective of unit, Looks new, Fresh and modern however it's not. Sorry didn't take photos. Room is adjacent to lift and garbage chute, hence very noisy. Bedroom window needs better covering to shut out the light that is situated over the lift. Furniture on balcony old and broken. Didn't feel safe walking by myself up the 'street' it's more like a dingy lane way.

Unfortunately wouldn’t stay again

Location was good.

Check in was a nightmare. No ventilation unless you leave balcony door open. No windows. Cleanliness was terrible. Exhaust fan in bathroom that comes on with light, sounded like a jet was taking off. Power points hanging off the wall in kitchen. Floors had sticky stains. If wanting to use the second bedroom extra charge for linen. Light hanging from roof in bedroom. Bathroom floor and shower floor dirty.

Big disappointment 😞

My child ended up with severe bed bugs or something from the apartment sofa they slept on .. Very disappointed. Apartment wasn't cleaned properly and was non sanitised

Very good

I liked having all the basic amenities like a washing machine and the fact that it was walking distance to most places we needed in the CBD.

The beds are a little too soft for my liking and the washing machine was a tad small to wash bedding for our stay but all in all not a train smash. I just like washing all my bedding every week.

pPerfect apartment for a family wanting a city stay that is close to Rundle Mall.

we loved have 2 separate bedrooms so that the children could go to bed earlier. Having access to cooking and washing handy.

There was a dirt cup in the cupboard, the blinds didn’t close so the sun light came in early in the morning, the wifi was not easy to connect to and different to the instructions. But is saying this we would come and stay again

Location is perfect. Close to everything. Fully equipped kitchen.

It’s a bit of challenge to find temporary parking in CBD, then find a locker just to see that it was empty at my arrival at 6pm (!). Had to call and chase staff to get my keys. Curtains in bedroom do not block light from the corridor lamp, had to sleep with that night light. Ended up sticking foil on windows to block light and get my sleep back Could not recall such a slow internet, especially in evenings, when you stay home. Had issues with charging my car parking while had a valid pass. Staff could not help me with reimbursement of parking fee. Toaster haven’t switched off on timer and burned toasts, triggering fire alarm. Thankfully we could vent the room and disable it fast enough, but we were close to get 800$ fine for false call of a fire brigade.

Very good

After reading the reviews on bookings.com - I thought that we were going to have a bad experience. But it was the opposite. If you are looking for a traditional hotel with amenities, then this is not for you. However, it is clean, and it was how it was advertised, so we got what we paid for. We found it well located in the heart of Rundle Street - So easy to get in and out of - except when the roads were closed for Fringe! :)

Of all properties we have stayed over many years, this has our lowest vote

Excellent location close to Rundle Street restauranrts and shopping.

Off-site staffed were friendly enough, and quick to promise to fix things, but it took 4 days to get some items fixed. Others didn't get fixed, like a door lock, so we couldn't actually lock the apartment balcony door. They seemed more interesting in us extending our stay "despite the problems you have experienced", than fixing problems

Everything, I cannot find words to describe this place ,it was that bad we r not the kind of people to find fault ,basically can't be bothered,but this was that disgusting it has prompted me to write this ,dirty ,smelly ,ect ,u should be ashamed of yourselves ,needless tu say for the money we paid ,u will definitely never see us again or anyone else we know ,and trying tu reach the so called manager ,he hid and did not want to correspond at all ,appalling,

Paid early checkin wait for 2 hours on the road under 35 degree heat must be a joke Curtains not working. Tv is not working , air conditioning blowing out dust Not using this property again

More professional on checking in rather than asking for more money on service never supply

First class location, second class house-keeping

Fantastic location, very close to everything. Toni was good to communicate and was very helpful.

Lift wasnt working, and the alternate lift was through the parking floor. House keeping was terrible. Bedding was not enough for the total family, a lot of things were missing from the Kitchen (Salt, dishwash scrub, etc). At one stage, I almost had a fight when I heard the house-keeping didnt have a spare key to drop the bedding while I was away.

nothing worked, location and 2 hours of waiting on the road before I could go into place and getting locked in CARPARK for 2 hours to get out!! very poor
